I have NEVER been this frusterated with a game..

i have to beat that bitch on cahpter 9 or 10...i forgot, but, i have 1 potion and it fuckin sux ass. its gettin easier everytime i play it but it still sux. the elixer is a regular potion too. yes, as everyone says, this game is the most hardest game anyone has played. the fuckin developers shouldve made an easy mode for dumbasses like me :x
 
i finally beat Alma last night, took me probably an hour of trial and error over 2 days. i was on the verge of giving it the old f$@k it and sending it back to gamefly. after i beat her i was more relieved than happy. i thought i had hit my skillz wall, that the game had finished me. if up to me, i will never unlock NG2 and NG3. i am hoping that maybe the xbox mag with the demo disks will give us a game save with everything unlocked.
 
This game is mad hard. I'm getting better at the fighting, but the first time I hit the boss on Chapter one I got my ass whomped six-ways-from-Sunday. In fact, every time I've gotten to that boss, he's kicked my ass. I came really close once... :)

But, I've only been playing for an hour or so. Lots of fun, and it looks fantastic.
 
The government should think about making a landfill specifically for all the broken, discarded xbox controllers caused by this game.
 
I'm on chapter nine after about 12 hours of total gametime on normal. This is indeed a tuff little diddy. If I can offer a little advice..... practice blocking and dodging attacks you'll find this key in minimizing the use of life elixers to defeat enemies. Also the abilty to quickly center the camera angle behind Ryu is essential. This is by no means a typical hack and slash type game. Sometimes the best offense is a good defense.
 
I'm on chapter 15, and those damn piranhas eat my ass up every time I play it. Its quite ironic that these small little enemies have given me more trouble than any boss.

I had no idea the enemy would try such a dastardly tactic as to toss your salad...
 
use your lightning attack fairly liberally on those piranhas....generally there will be plenty of red essence left over from their deaths to recharge your ninpo meter. Also, switching to the flail can help too, as you can usually strike them faster than with another weapon.
