Indiana Deals Thread
How would Nintendo know you bought it used?
would'nt typically matter. I had a DS that was 1.5-2 years old with a broken hinge. Didn't have the receipt around when I called. They asked for the serial number which they said could tell them the manufacture date and a good guess at the sold time . They said close enough and to send it in.

Bigger thing would be to find out when it was manufactured so you could have a better guess on how much time you have left.

I just found a much better second hand game/video place on the southside. It's next to the Wal-Mart on U.S. 31. They had a pretty good selection of games from the Atari to 360/PS3/Wii. They even had a used copy of National Treasure 2 on Blu-Ray for $17. The bonus is that there's a Gamestop and a comic shop right next to it. Oh, and Hooters is in the same complex. Nothing like gutted games at Gamestop and overpriced overcooked wings at Hooters......mmmmmm.

Yeah, Disc Replay is good. It's where we found the first three volumes of Haruhi, and where we recently finally got a copy of Mario All-Stars. They had Mario RPG a few weeks ago, probably gone now.

Looks like you can make reservations online. Put the coupon code there and just pick up your passes at the Will-Call or whatever the equivalent is.

Oh, and thanks Rictor. I'll be going at least once this year.
Indiana Beach coupons

Not really video game related (except they do have a fairly nice arcade at the park), but I figured some fellow Hooisers might be interested in these coupons. They are from the Noblesville Daily Times newspaper (http://www.noblesvilledailytimes.com).
thanks a lot. been thinking about going this year and this will go a long way. got 4 kids = P

Well, you can have a copy of the Daily Times mailed to your house for like $1 if you don't live close enough or know anyone who lives near Noblesville (northern suburb of Indianapolis).
They'd probably take a printout.

317.770.7777 is their phone number. Tell them to mail you a copy that has the Indiana Beach ad. It ran on Monday, June 17, but seems to run at least a couple times a week.

Thanks for the info. Getting extra papers sent in case this is a one-time coupon. With everyone that is going, we could be saving over $200. Crazy.

i remember going there 28 years ago. I was about 5 or 6.... the people driving couldnt find the stupid place and we turned down one road that said Indiana beach this way..... STayed at the hotel at the start of the road and they said it was right there down the road... LOL

got to wonder if that little hotel is even still there anymore.. doubtful

I went by Indiana Beach once a while ago.

I was at the GS at Glebrook, and they had SIX employees there working, WTH? I went their to buy a Nyko Frontman PS3 guitar.

I'll be going to Louisville, KY for two days to attend a funeral. First time I'll be without internet access for over a day since 2002.

BTW, if anyone was going to get those NYKO wireless nunchucks, you should pick one up now. Nintendo is suing them and trying to get a cease and desist on sale of the unit for infringing Nintendos design.

i went there last weds (gs at glenbrook) it was funny watching 2 workers fight over how much the game informer book was ...

I did some running around today and saw MGS4 PS3 bundles at both Targets on the North side of Fort Wayne. I'm kind of tempted to pick one up to ebay, but I'm not sure if I feel like it. I think I also saw a few Wiis at one of the Targets. I'd like to pick up one of those sometime, but the only game on the Wii that interests me is No More Heroes.

I went into Video Game Exchange in Greenwood last week just to check out what they had. Didn't have much but the owner says he's going to start holding tournaments and call the the Indiana State Video Game Championships. I almost laughed but he seemed serious and I didn't want to hurt his feelings. He did say Tecmo Bowl and Street Fighter II would be the first two tourneys to go sometime ths summer.
If anyone in Fort Wayne wants Ikaruga for the Gamecube, the GS on Lima has a copy.
How Much was it do you remember...???
How Much was it do you remember...???
It was $39.99. I thought I'd point it out for any of you that would prefer to have the actual disk vs the downloadable version on Xbox live. I got copy a while back, though I never progressed very far, since I'm not that that great at shooters.
If anyone in Fort Wayne wants Ikaruga for the Gamecube, the GS on Lima has a copy.
And now, with the 30% off used GC games coupon, it's not that horribly overpriced!
Hey fellow Indiana CAGs. I snagged an extra Nights for Wii from the Meijer sale...$10 shipped if any of you guys want it. PM me if interested.
I missed this one...Meijer had a Wii game for less than $10? Dang, and I have 3 Meijer stores near me and 2 more I pass on the way to work.

BB in jefferson in Fort wayne was honoring the TRU B2G1 on DS games sale if anyone cares... The guy said we dont normally honor these kind of sales but did it anyway so might be YMMV. Good Luck.

I forgot to mention, I saw the 80GB PS3 with MGS4 at Wal-Mart, near Jefferson Pointe.

I haven't been to TRU yet in Fort Wayne, to check anything out. I did not see NiGHTs on Wii, at Meijer on Illinois Rd.

The Meijer on Lima had a sticker advertising the $2.99 price, but they didn't have any. The Meijer on Maysville Rd didn't have any either.

I picked up Every Extend Extra at TRU. I passed on Jean D'Arc game. I didn't look for Oblivion on the PS3, since the PS3 version probably doesn't support mods.

someone went in there monday night and grabbed every single Jean arc game *unless they put more out since tuesday

I didnt see EEE at TRU

I was at TRU yesterday and saw 3-4 copies of EEE.

GF snagged 3 DS games for $40, and I got a pretty good haul:

Meet The Robinsons 360 - $7.98
Enchanted Arms 360 - $7.98
WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2007 - $7.98
Parappa the Rapper PSP - - $7.98
Jam Sessions DS - $5.00
Hot Shots Tennis PS2 - $5.00

And I snagged a new Taiko Drum Master w/ Drumcon package at Gamestop for $39.99. Didn't really want to pay that much, but I didn't figure I'd find a new one anywhere else any time soon.

I just created a social group for Indiana CAG members:
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/group.php?groupid=29

I might have forgotten some of you (I listed some I knew off the top of my head), but feel free to join. :D

I was at Sears over the weekend and say 64MB memory cards on 360 for $4.97. They also had Xbox 360 Media Remote for $6.97. They had blue and pink 360 wireless controllers for $34. Great deals, but I only bought Moto GP 07 for $4.97.

Yeah, my daughter has been begging for a damn pink controller too. It might be worth it just so she doesn't have to get mine all dirty and sticky. I swear I get her to wash her hands and two minutes later it looks like she's been working 40 years in a coal mine.

don't slip and fall on that trout...

Kendallville Walmart has a ton of clearance games, can't remember much of them but I picked up Simpsons (360) for $10 and Phoenix Wright: T&T for $15.
you forgot me?! how could you ¡¡¡ =P
Sorry about that. You were on my mind too, but I got distracted while doing invites I guess (that's why I posted it.

I have to pay way more attention to this thread...
I remember you quite well LoganDX when I first joined CAG (I remember your signature that said Death to all hoarders due to what happened at the Circuit City sale).
Don't worry. They forgot me too.
Actually, in your case, I just forgot the spelling of your username (I remembered you avatar). Sorry.

I haven't been to Kendallville in years.

I tried checking Meijer on Illinois Rd. for NiGHTs Wii, but they did not have it.

Meijer's on 135 in Greenwood didn't have Nights either. I did pick up a GOW PSP for my brother. Used the $15 off coupon with no problem.

Went to Target on 135 to see if they had any clearance games. Heavenly Sword rang up at $30 instead of $15 and the rest was cleared out. They did have Viva Pinata (regular version) for $15 and Ratchet and Clank Future guides for $5. Nothing worth picking up so my wallet is happy.

yup, that was me. Damn, just when I got the tremors under control. Back to therapy...

Any clearance deals left at the Indianapolis TRU stores? I'd hate to drive 30 miles and not find anything worth the gas money.

I am in interested in Wii, PS3, DS, PSP, GBA as those are the systems I own.

Yah, usually the Indy stores get wiped out on the first day of a clearance...too many CAGers. Sometimes you get lucky and they restock or find new stuff in the back. I've also had luck finding games people have hidden behind stuff.

That seemed to be the case when I lived in Indy. I only seen around 3 or 4 regular posters, including myself, on the forums that were from Indy and everyplace was just wiped out. Granted, that could also be people from SD/FW doing a lot of that too.

I'm not sure it's a matter of people clearing out the Greenwood TRU - its inventory just kinda sucks in the first place. The only good clearance stuff I've found there in the last year or so has been Blue Dragon and XBLA Unplugged. When I was still driving to work (read: when gas was around $2.50 a gallon), I could get out to the East Washington TRU, which was a lot more forgotten than Greenwood.

i will tell you that inventory in greenwood sucks in generall. the target in castelton has more games than all 3 combined down here do(135,southeaast street emerson) bestbuy same way I get more of what i want up there maybe could be they are closer to and tryign to compete with fry's but just a guess. and I am the king lurker lmao

I managed to find Blue Dragon and Jeanne d'Arc at the Greenwood TRU. Castleton is a little too far since I'm never farther north than 38th St.
