Can't you just buy a smaller amount of points over Xbox Live?
I don't have a Credit Card. I bought my subscription through a XBL subscription card.

FYI my cousin rented superman HD. He has watched it off and on for over a week now. He says under usage restrictions it says 'unavailable'. It isn't self deleting.

When I rented Superman HD, it didn't delete itself. It just did not allow me to play it without paying again.

Where's the cheapest place that I can buy a 1600 point card?
I'm thinking buy.com w/ GCO's $10 off $10+, but after getting reamed for shipping, I only save ~$4.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Best Buy with a Gamers Gift Card if your BB still has any.
any previews of pics? the themse have yet to be on http://www.dashboardthemes.com but probably will be up shortly.
Not that I've found yet. You can try logging into your X360 and go to the Marketplace, highlight the one you want to see and it may display the images. The previous Sonic one's did so I dont see why these wouldn't.
Next week's Live Arcade Wednesday is Lumine's bonus packs.
Morning Update:

Name: Crackdown Playable Demo

I'm downloading the crackdown demo, but it's a whopper of a demo. I'm hoping it changes my opinion on the game since I am having a hard time bringing myself to like it.

i thought it was pretty fun...it gets more fun as you reach the end of the one-hour demo though, unfortunately :(

be sure to collect as many green icon things on the rooftops so you can jump higher, THEN it gets entertaining :D

I agree the demo is great. Can't wait till next month.:applause:

Demo is very very good. Murc77 and Myself played Co Op together and man was it a blast. The 1 hour demo went by very fast though :( Gettign your strength up to pick up cars and shit ois great also. Your telling me for $60.00 I get Crackdown with a free Halo 3 Beta Invitation? Now thats a steal!

i only played a little but just went around and shot shit in solo mode...it has some promise... looks pretty cool..

can you eventually jump higher and run faster and stuff? i keep thinking agent like in matrix

Yes. Go around and colect the Green Orbs that you see on the streets and on buildign and it builds up your Agility. Yesterday I got 30 Agility Orbs and had 4 Star ranking on my agility stat and my dude was super fast and he could jump sick distances.
What is the usual time difference, in days, between Gold members getting to download demos and Silver members?
1 Week

Yes, until mid-Feb. MN has the scoop: http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2007/01/24/arcade-lumines-live-add-on-packs.aspx

I played the demo a bit but didn't really get into the game, and I was really turned off hearing about the missing modes. Still looks a bit pricey for the full game, though...

Lumines basic - 1200 pts
Advance pack - 600 pts
VS CPU - 100 (300 after feb 21)
puzzle/mission - 100 (300 after feb 21)
heavenly star skin - free (150 after feb 21)
Total: 2000 pts, ~$25

Obviously you don't have to buy everything, but everyone's looking at the bottom line. I believe it's about the same as the game's price for the PSP... anyone more familiar with it know?

Lionsgate released four movies on XBLM and WB released Lady in the Water. Lionsgate is noticable because they were only releasing Blu-Rays and now Hard Candy is on teh Marketplace in HD but not on Blu-Ray.

Checked out xbox.com and it looks like Lions Gate has these additions:

An American Haunting
Hard Candy
The Blair Witch Project
Made
Cecil B. Demented
A Requiem for a Dream
The Descent
See No Evil

Also Paramount added 'An Inconvenient Truth'

anyone see hard candy and know if it's good? I watched ebert and roper review it when it came out, but don't remember much.

also, is the proposition still up? I tried looking for it in the movies section and can't seem to find it >_
Hard Candy is pretty good if you like psychological thrillers.

The proposition sucks.

The best movie out of all the new batch is by far The Descent.
from what I've seen from and read of the proposition it seems like a movie I'd like alot. I like cowboys. I like gore. I like slow pacing. I like David Weinham (ie. Faramir from LotR)... etc.

If the best movie is The Descent, that must mean the others are terrible.

Made is hilarous (if it's the Vince Vaughn movie), and Requiem is a great movie (though, I could see how some people wouldn't like it).

Edit to my above post. All the Lions Gate films are available in HD
maybe ill give see no evil a try in hd...

may rent descent when it comes out on hd dvd
Is it suppose to come out on HD DVD? I know it's already released on Blu Ray.

I don't think it will come out in HD DVD.

I second that the descent is badass though. Make sure you know nothing going in though.
so no info on proposition?
Looks to me like they pulled it. Its not on the marketplace or listed on the website.

damn that sucks... that's the only video on the marketplace I was considering downloading... guess I'll have to change that to A Scanner Darkly.

Yeah I've been wanting to see it but the 2 times I tried watching it on DVD I fell asleep after 20min into it so I ended up returning it to Blockbuster without watching it. Let me know how it turns out, I want to check it out eventually.

I may rent The Descent since Blockuster.com won't ship the Blu-Ray edition. Although, I could just watch the DVD. How is the HD quality? Do you get full 5.1 surround and all that good stuff? I'm still hesitant to pay $5 for a rental.....
Is it suppose to come out on HD DVD? I know it's already released on Blu Ray.
sorry my bad..

for some reason i confusdthis movie with the departed...

anyways so is it on the marketplace? how much are the hd rentals again?

480 Points. 6.00 Bucks?
Still if you don't have HD-DVD or Blu-Ray, it's a somewhat cheap alternative
Yea. I never seen a movie in HD Yet. I also don't have a HD DVD or Blu Ray player so I may just go and rent one fromt he marketplace to check it out.

Does anyone know if See no Evil is worth the HD Download or not?

I wish I had more than 24 hours to watch also. With a 2-month old at home, it's rare when I get to watch a movie. PLUS, I already have HD-DVD and Blu-Ray, so I'll just wait for Blockbuster.com to ship it
