has anyone been able to exchange a pre-order game for the other console version?

I bought LA Noire PS3 but friend wants 360 version instead. I don't want to be screwed out of the 500 RZ points. I also got a $5 credit for the $20/$15 GC match so not sure what to do.

Just take it in without the receipt. See if they will do a swap for you, say it was a gift or something.
 
Got my $15 gift card last week, but just got an email from BB saying I have a $15 RZ certificate. Weird, but awesome.

Plus I have those 500 bonus points for pre-ordering waiting to clear.
 
Got my $15 GC on Thursday of last week. Also got my 500 bonus points after I reported the sale in my RZ account. I had forgotten to link the accounts when I ordered my $48.99 LA Noire... I still can't get over that deal.

For all of you who got the $5 credited back to your accounts, did you all just say what Indiana Jones said? I called CSR and the rep told me they don't price match promos so I came out empty handed :(

Ya, I just called and mentioned that I'd preordered the game when it had a $15 gift card and now it was available through bestbuy.com for a $20 gift card. I did order from BB.com for store pickup so that might have helped. They looked for a second and then said they'd match it. It might have helped that I called while the promotion was still going on through BB.com.

Ah yeah, I might just be too late on calling in about this. I also ordered through BB.com and did an in store pickup. I'll try calling one more time tomorrow.

Did they add $5 to your card? I called earlier and they said they would forward an email to promotions to probably add $5 to my GC. I haven't received an email and the order has disappeared from my orders list.

I'm also unsure of whether they will add my 500 points. The GC 500 points is showing up by they aren't showing up on my total points and no certificates have been issued.
