Season 1 is ending tonight it seems. Maintenance will be from 11pm to 9am PST.

Never got to try out ranked, but I'll live. Best I could probably pull off would be a bronze banner :p so why bother placing at this time?
 
I'll have to grab that magazine from work on the 13th. I've been waiting for her Arctic Warfare skin ever since someone here posted it awhile back.

Just wanted to thank RabbitSuit for the awesome Nasus (Take a bite out of crime) skin. Been sporting it my last few matches and I've been on a nice win streak. It has to be the skin, right?
 
I came home for the weekend since we have Monday off so I'll be on this weekend. I hate playing on my laptop, and that was before I had an awesome machine that loaded a game in 30 seconds.

Anyway, just had a game as Gragas and went 5/7/7. At least 5 of my deaths were because of Malz's fucking ult. He'd ALWAYS do it on me because I was the only one with a reliable CC to stop him. I went with an AP nuke build, getting Rabadon's AND Zhonya's, never done that before. We won anyway since the rest of my team was good.
 
I'm such a bad Gragas during the laning phase. But once we get in team fights, I'm so good. In my last game, Kennen was ganked by my team but flashed and used his dash to get away. I used my ult to knock him back to my team and his GP away.

Flash needs to be removed from the game though. It's long overdue. They say healing and stealth are anti-fun, Flash is no different when they use it to get away with a sliver of health.
 
Lost like 5 games in a row yesterday. I was playing Leona since I never gave her much of a chance when she was released and found a build I like. She's pretty fun, more a utility tank than initiate/damage soak. She's fun in how she can dash back and forth in a fight with her E. However, she does no damage at all, not even to minions. So many times I hit them thinking they'll die, then they have like 10 HP left.

After going 10-1-4 in my first game as LeBlanc, and similarly good in the next two. I think I might have a new AP champ I like more than Karthus.
 
Just had a shit game. Our Orianna didn't do anything. She never called mias, pushed mid (always ran back when minions got to the turret), or ganked. Meanwhile they kept ganking me (Leona) and Vayne bot. Every time Vayne tried to get a kill, she'd die and blame me for being too passive. I would have been more aggressive if I had confidence in her.

I said "gg shit mid" at the end. Vayne called me the worst Leona ever (of our team's 7 kills, I had 2 kills and 4 assists) and Orianna said it was mean and was reporting me.
 
The truth hurts.

Just had a game with an Ashe who was such a coward. Refused to go mid, so we had our Lee Sin go mid against Annie. He fed her. Then Ashe had no map awareness and got ganked by all 5 of them. She finished 7/15, never saw her get a kill.
 
yeah, i tried to carry that game as wukong top. i denied/killed their Talon, but then Talon just fed off of other people afterwards

i did well though :)
 
had another flawless game with taric, its so great playing taric when you have a team that can capitalize on having that support.

had a warwick on our team who was excellent at predicting the enemy's next move and got us in position for ganks and map control. i teamed up bot with a vayne and we completely decimated a cait+nidalee combo. everyone on our team just seemed to know what our teammates were going to do and we all played off each other great, too many good plays to list. when they surrendered at twenty i think our team had a total of 2 deaths. and yes, the other team wasn't great, but they weren't terrible, lots of encounters ended with us just barely on top, but it happened repeatedly. they just got outplayed which is so much more satisfying than just stomping on bads.
 
Every Leona game, I do well in the laning phase, then it all goes to hell late game.

Last game, our Annie went to get blue and left mid unguarded. I went to try to defend it but Talon got it. Then Sona got bot. Me and Annie tried to get Talon but she died and gave him the buff. Then they got top. So a buff cost us 3 towers.

Then our Jax, Flippr's friend, kept running into the jungle by himself and getting killed by the rest of them. I raged at him for it which he didn't like. I'm just tired of those types of games. Good early game, then one person on our team does something dumb that ends up snowballing against us.
 
WHY DIDN'T ANYBODY TELL ME LEE SIN WAS SO AWESOME!

Two normal games with him. First one I had a Tank Karthus whose autoattack was on par with his ultimate, and not in a good way. Lost miserably, went 1-4-2 (with a grand total of 3 kills on our side). But man, I should have died so much more than that. Q -> Freedom in the jungle. W -> Freedom to a Ward. Q + W + Flash? Steal dragon, get chased all around the jungle by three people, and walk away without a scratch.

2nd game... oh 2nd game I made it my mission to make a raging Nocturne's day very very miserable. Stole all three dragons from him, despite him saving smite for the last hits. His Roundhouse Kick knocking enemies over walls is very useful for those occasions. And his ultimate, oh man, you can dash out of Nocturne's lunge and take no damage from it. Then I turned around and beat the guy 1 v 1.

Anybody here play him? How do you build the fella? I'm running AD Pen Red/Armor Yellow/ MR per lvl Blue/ 2 MS Quint/ 1 HP Quint. Masteries I haven't quite settled on yet. As for build, I stack Dorian's blades, rushing Wriggle's and Mercs. And move into building a Phage -> Mallet -> Atma's -> Situtationals
 
For masteries, most go 21/9/0. There are a lot of viable builds for him. I prefer going Mercs > Phage > Trifoce > Atma's/Force of Nature. Some get 3 Doran's Blades, Warmogs, Atma's.


I finally won a game today. We had a jungler, so I thought "Screw it, I'll go with my first love, Nasus." I just passively farmed top against Cho Gath, he killed me once only because I hit my ult a second late and he feasted me. Even though I was never in team fights early on, but neither was their Cho which probably hurt them more than me not being with my team. Then Malz took over the farming top and I kicked their asses.
 
Tried out 15-6-9, 21-9-0, and 21-0-9. So far I think I prefer 21-0-9 just for damage, EXP bonus and slight increase on buff duration. What runes do you run for the guy?

Played two more games with Lee Sin and won them both in landslides. Sad thing is that one of them was a 2 v 3 against Garen, Xin and Rumble.

Take a tower and suddenly I'm surrounded. Dash to minion, and kick the back enemy into his two allies. Q to wraiths, and suddenly see two flashes to get to me. And I just flash over the next wall. His mobility is priceless, man. I wouldn't be shocked if he got some nerfs soon.

The other game we were dominating, but I was getting messed up by their enemy jungle Shaco. He never killed me, but he stole dragon from me twice. :/ And I was only able to pick up a kill from him one of those times.

patch is next week, 1 more week to raise my ELO! Im at 1349 and it was pretty good. Had a few early game shitholes, that we turned around to win

my silly normal mundo game was fun. my team liked to chase enemies into their jungle with the other team having 2-3 enemies missing in action. So while they chased, i just turned around and went back to farming.

Then one goes MUNDO, U NEVER HERE

I say mundo goes where he pleases

then finally someone on my team was smart and said to stop freaking chasing.

we ended up losing, but I had fun as mundo :)

then nunu comes to help him for a while

we ate both of them

no one was stopping us, it was hilarious.

Second, you guys are whining about dominion not being release on time. They never gave dates and they never promised it would be out soon. You guys didnt go to PAX apparently. If you had, you would have noticed a TON of bugs in dominion and a lot of problems with the items exclusive to it not calculating correctly. If they release it now, you guys would just whine more and complain even though you want it now
 
Please give a source of someone saying how buggy it was at pax or gamescom. Everything I've read people were saying it's great and all but done. Riot has even said so themselves. They are saying the reason for the delay is server prep.

So please enlighten me.
 
Well, the servers are always effed up. They can't even run a standard patch without it being a mess.

I remember when there were no log-in queues on patch days and you could buy and paly the new champion immediately after logging in.

I played in beta and its been a mess from day 1 as far as I can recall. It is really astonishing that its still almost as bad.
 
Ah, neat. It's good to finally know Season 1 is coming to an end. I regret not being able to jump aboard a team for ranked games though.

I tested out with some folks that were looking for a 3rd for 3 v 3 on the forums. Two different groups, played three games with them each, and we won every match. But I wasn't up to par, with them.

And it looks like I'm forced to agree with that, seeing how those two groups are both past gold already xD.

Story here
He ended up being the captain in his first game, and they asked him to ban Amumu and Tryn. He banned Amumu, and then his ally, that never said anything before, said he was gonna be Amumu and he's now going to feed. He continued to ban Orianna and got completely shit on for it. There were two people saying, "AT THE VERY LEAST BAN SINGED"

Then he picked up Taric, and like clockwork, "I WAS GONNA BE TARIC YOU SHIT."

"I can switch with you"
"You fucking better"
Enemy team picked up Annie and Singed.
"You just had to fucking let them have Singed!"
His allies pick up Talon and Nasus -- and he switches for Nasus.
Enemy team picks up Tryn and Cait.
"THEY HAVE TRYN TOO!?"
"GG, I'm sitting in spawn."

Next few games weren't any better either. I'd honestly just rather go in with friends or people I knew ahead of time.

Aside from that, the only support I know how to play is Taric. And the only jungler I'm confident in using is Amumu. Both common picks. If I'm forced into that role, I'd bring the team down. So solo queue isn't really for me at this time.
