Ha! I'm everywhere.

Just got back from checking out WM after BBTB. Saw a bin full of CMF S3 discounted down to $2 each. I still can't find the polybags though.

Sent you a PM

Went to Tru. No minifigures, rarely are. fucking LEGO. And fucking TRU manager, the Lego isle was a mess, not because of kids but because of the idiots working there now and my manager dared to bitch at me?

I bought a skeleton copter for 3.49$. Nice little set with a lot of great pieces, didn't even knew it came with a black sword. Love the new skellie arms. Wish castle had those.

I came across 7 Series 2 packets at the mall today (at a SmartToys store) while the wife was shopping, so I bought them all. Got 2x Lifeguard, 1x Vampire, 1x Spartan, 1x Karate Guy, 1x Skier, and 1x Ringmaster. Then we went to TRU to return some stuff and I was going to exchange the extra Kimono Girl I had for something I didn't have, but in the few days since I bought my packets someone scooped them all up. I felt out two more Elves and two more Samurai from the Series 3 they had (one opened but nearly full box, and an entire other closed box behind it). If I hadn't gone out tonight we never would have stopped at the mall and I wouldn't have found any Series 2, so even though I didn't come away with any more Series 4, I think 7 Series 2 and 4 more Series 3 was a fair trade.

Checked the Target ad for tomorrow and there are no Lego deals. Guess I'll wait for the 10% off deal or whatever they had last year before Easter.

There's also a 3 dollars off coupon in the Target spring catalog for toys that they sent out a couple weeks ago.

I can't remember which sets, but one of them was the Ninjago Ice Dragon.

I'd wait till that's on sale and use the 3 off to get an even better price.

Was at TRU earlier picking up some 3DS games and walked through the Lego section, 33% off the following T6 Jedi Shuttle, AT-AT, and X-Wing. I might pop in and get another X-Wing but I have 4 of them already but for $40 and no TRU mark up I might bite.
So the Skellie Helicopter is $3.50 at TRU.
The Ninjago Turkey dragon is $3.50 or $4 at Target.

Has anyone seen the following and if so where and how much?

http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=30080-1
http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=30082-1
http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=30061-1
http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=30062-1
That last one was at some Targets around Christmas, though none around here. I was able to pick up 3 of them off of ebay for around $4, but generally they go for $6-8 it looks like. Haven't seen any of the others.

I bought the 30062 at Target during January (they quickly sold out -- maybe one week). I had to buy 30061 off of Bricklink because it seems it was mostly on available in Europe. These are great sets, but would be even 50% better if they included a themed shield.

I wouldn't worry about the other two sets since they haven't been released yet.

Bought 17 packs of series 4 from TRU and got 12 out of 16 which I would say is pretty good.

Now i need a mad scientist, kimono girl, musketeer and a surfer girl.

And i have an extra sailor, painter and skater if anyone would be interested in trading.

Damn. Thanks for looking. I'm still trying to find any Skeleton Choppers. :S

I guess I'll have to go ebay for the Archer.

My nearest TRU still has Skeleton Choppers, and if they still have any when I go back next I'll pick some extras up. I will probably be going back this week.

I could go for at least 3 if you want to pick some up.

Thank you!

You should had told me, I would have bought three more for $3.34 each after 10% off and tax. They had to have at least 4-5 dozen.

The helecopter is really nice, and I'll probably buy a dragon turkey. The other sets I don't care about too much, I was just wondering what their stories were.

I thought you knew that, lol.... that's why it threw me off when you said you didn't want the Ninjago chickens.

I must have read wrong. I thought these were found in Targets...

I've been checking TRU, and they have had only the alien for MONTHS.... I've never seen another poly yet.

No SW, no ninjago and definately no kingdoms.

I need to finish my hate-hate relationship I have with my local TRU. :hot:

My TRU is shit. So if they most likely didn't pay attention and stuck them out and then bitch when they have none left for the promo.

It's an awesome set, the best of the Ninja polybags from what I can tell. Four bones, new skellie pieces, black sword, and those weird pieces I can't explain holding on the claws. I almost passed on it, but I figured why now. Plus I got the cute young cashier.

You must have gotten lucky with the black sword, as I don't believe that's supposed to come in the Skeleton Chopper set. I've bought three, and none of mine had one.

Really? That's very weird. Maybe I should go and buy a few more to see if they do and then I can say I got the lucky batch on ebay and make millions!

I thought it was on that it wasn't on the bag.

I know this was in the original LEGO thread, but can't find it...

What's a reasonable price for huge lots on Craigslist or the like? Someone had quoted by-the-pound prices, that's the kind of estimate I'm aiming for.

I have found $5-8 a pound is about right, maybe up to $10 a pound if they have lots of licensed figures or good mostly complete sets.

Stopped in the Lego store in King of Prussia, PA today and the guy at the counter said they just got wave 4 in today. They limited me to 16.

1 Surfer Girl
1 Werewolf
1 Gnome
1 Viking
1 Punk Rocker
1 Ice Skater
1 Sailor
2 Kimono Girls
3 Frankensteins
2 Painters
2 Musketeers

At least you only got 1 sailor, there are 5 of those bad boys per box along with Frankenstein, Punk Rockers and Werewolves.

I can't find series 4 in local stores. FM, TRU, WM all sold out.

I'm hoping to find the last 3 I need at the Lego store a few hours away.

In my experience, it's a lot easier being a cheap ass with games/gadgets than it is with LEGO.

I just offered a guy $12 per pound on LEGO and he started reciting back to me how much he paid per set (total value according to him $1800 for ~25 lb of LEGO). The sets were all jumbled in a big plastic tub, so I figured the per pound offer was fair seeing as how he couldn't verify that each set was intact and who knew what the hell was thrown in there.

I went up to twelve because they were clean and I thought that was a number to get things done quickly. 3 bills and I'm out of there, right? No dice. Holy shit was that guy insane. Maybe he's right, maybe jumbled LEGO are the second gold standard, beats the hell out of me.

I'm probably just going to have to violate the cheap ass mantra and take what I can get. I've been nosing around for Target and TRU values, and I was thinking some general starter stuff on the cheap might be easy to come by, but I think that's more work than its worth.

Call the Lego Store and make sure they are even selling them, I don't think they can sell them till April, the Lego Calendar shows them highlighted between the 15th-17th, so call and make sure. Also, if your willing to make the drive and gas being the way it is, why don't you just eBay for them.

Could always order online at TRU and return later. Only problem there is that you're stuck with TRU credit if you return at the store.

That's what I'm doing because even series 3 was impossible tonfind here.

^*Loads up his shot guns*

I wouldn't bother wasting your time with craigslist. If someone was orferign them for cheap they are gone by the time you check. Smart people sell the sets as sets if they have only a few, but even then they still want liek 70% of the value they were thinknig theyare collectable or something. If he wanted more money he should have made locks on ebay, you are one person where he doesn't need to ship or anything. He's a cheap bastard.

Does anyone have a complete set of Series 1 Minifigures they would like to trade for a complete set of Series 4 Minifigures?

I got into the Minifigure game at Series 2 so I missed out on the Series 1.

Thanks in advance!

I finally got that damn TIE Fighter polybag. Now all Lego needs to do is re-release the B Wing and I'll be happy.

I saw a Darth Vader's TIE Fighter at Border's for 35...is that a good deal considering it's OOP? Might pick it up if it's still there next week when I get paid.

Did you guys get a free copy of Lego Universe with your catalog like I did today?

Dear LEGO VIP MEMBER, As a special Thank you for being a LEGO VIP member, we're sending you this complimentary LEGO Universe DVD, including one moth of membership -- FREE!

Wow, how bad is it when they are giving away the first month.

I could see them just giving away the client as a download for free eventually and give people a week... to pay for another month or so.

Kinda stinks because I liked it, but there isn't near enough stuff to do in it for the money they want.

I didn't get a free copy with my catalog, just the regular 9.99 offer. Free is pretty much the only way I'd try it. I've never wanted to get into monthly fee games, no matter how good they are.

Series 1 was under-produced so your trade isn't 1:1. Your best bet would be to just buy a set.

If you get a good coupon (33% and 40% come and go weekly) it wouldn't be a steal but definitely a good buy. For some reason, they only like to release Tie fighters every 3-4 years.

No disc here...I wouldn't have tried it anyways. I've got too many good games to play that don't charge me every month to do so.
