I uploaded some pics of my current 2 shelf setups (1 Castle, 1 City) to the below link. It's in a state of disarray after a move to a smaller location.

The hedge maze is in a box right now as I can't fit it in front of the castle in it's current location as I wanted to have it.

That bridge goes to nowhere because it used to lead in to the hedge maze and the moat was smaller. I am in the process of setting up my basement to expand this into a much larger display using multiple tables but that is also a work in progress.

The water areas will have some beaches I hope.

I've been accumulating clearance and sale sets with the castle setup particularly in mind so someday I hope it will be much more awesome than right now.
got any pics of your Castle set up? Id like to see it
Nice setup and two maersk trains?!??!?! I have yet to buy that set which reminds me that I need to pick up Emerald Night as well.

Yeah. Well I'm fairly confident that in a year or 2 when it is out of print the Maersk train will be selling for crazy money. Then I'll sell my spare and hope it pays for the keeper and maybe a few other sets.
Are you sure your not adding a set that is excluded from the sale, i.e. Pirates, Star Wars, Alien Conquest.
Yep...I'm trying to add the Cars 2 Tokyo Circuit and Flo's V8 Cafe sets, both of which are listed as bogo50 eligible on the page....but in my cart the discount is not applied. It only takes off the 20% for the cars series. I thought that this would be stackable like someone previously posted, but it isn't working for me.

Has anyone heard of when Minifig set #5 is going to come out? I'm interested in one of the minifigs and am wondering when it might be available.

Last I remember hearing was September.

Game Informer said the end of July, but I think it's going to be sometime in August.

Which one are you liking? I love the godzilla costume. :)
Right there with you, picked up the forest set today, we have all kinds of custom rules already, on the Draida Bay set, we have to capture the crystal and then the goblins all reset on the board and we have to make it back to the ship. Another variant has the main bad guy absorbing our life as we get damaged (add the red life cones to the top of his head) which gives him more hit points. It does seem like the only limitation is your imagination, corny I know, but true. Grabbed some scorpions to use from our Egypt sets and the other games do appear to have great microfigs that could be used to broaden the game. If handled right, Lego could be on a gold mine with this concept.
The scorps are an awesome touch! We also tossed in the gladiators from Minotaurus as NPCs and custom built a mini tavern akin to Bard's Tale for some new campaigns. Also Ramses Pyramid and Lava Dragon along with Magikus gave us some sweet additions.

You're right about the gold mine deal as I see a lot of orders for bricks, accesories and more for players of these games.

Hit up TRU today.

Got Golden Staff Guardians (Pharoah's Quest) and Blacksmith Attack (Kingdom's) and 4 Minifigure Series 4 packs. ~ $20 for the haul. Pleased.
Every toys r us, walmart and target around me seems to be completely sold out of the series 4 minifig. I just need that damn scientist.
The Target near me had at least 5 in the box thingie. I could have saved like $20 by waiting for these insane sales.

All I need to complete my Series 4 set is the Lawn Gnome. Thinking about going the Ebay/Amazon route and giving up the "hunt".
Got lucky with some Walmart clearance today. Satellite Launchpad 3366 for $10.
I will never understand Walmart. Sometimes a old set will be clearance for the MSRP and sometimes a brand new set will be half off. Nice find.

I stopped at Walmart yesterday and they had a couple of Kingoms sets that came up as see an associate on the scanner. I went to the register and they came up at regular price though.

I guess that is the most popular of this wave. I had the same trouble. I bought dozens of the things. Finally gave up but then the b1g1 50% off happened and they were on sale on top of that, so I grabbed a few and got lucky. I've also been seeing wave 4 at Five Below stores if it helps any. Not sure if they are a regional place or not but there are several near where I live.

The godzilla one is pretty cool. Actually there are a lot of cool ones (I like the lumberjack with the beaver hat) but the one I'm looking for is the graduating dude. It's part of a gift idea I have.

Yea, Series 5 looks great. I found a Walmart near by that still has some Series 3 so I'm trying to work on that now.
The Target near me had at least 5 in the box thingie. I could have saved like $20 by waiting for these insane sales.
you might wanna check the prices one those. I got lucky and found one at my local target yesterday. Clearance for $0.74. I already had frankenstein, but for that cheap I was happy

I finally found a polybag at Target that wasn't the Atlantis Diver, Toy Story Army Men, or City Helicopter!

Picked up 30062, Kingdom's Target Practice poly. Woohoo.

The Prince of Persia sets at my target are still 50% off. I'm holding out for at least 75%.

I hope I don't miss out because of it like i did with the space police set.
Wow, anyone have any idea how AWD would get a King's Castle Siege? I just bought one for 94.99, seemed like a pretty nice deal.
Had it in my cart, but didn't buy it! You came off like a bandit my friend because every AWD purchase I've made has been sealed.

This is a big part of why I went for it. I have ordered 3 or 4 sets from AWD and they have all been sealed. I just don't understand where they would have gotten it from. Did they find some randomly beat up box in a warehouse somewhere?

Mine is still at 30%, quite disappointed.

They started at 15% off and will end with 50% off. After that they will be sent to salvage. If you want them, buy them now.

A couple Targets near me started the PoP at 15%, but several others started at 30%. I think it's YMMV whether they go to 75%.

Some stores skip the first 15% as every other toy clearance starts at 30% off. Most Lego clearance at Target now follows the 15%->30->50% off schedule. There is an occasional oddball set or two that follows the old 30%->50->75% off schedule like the galactic enforcer.

You're right that Target clearance is YMMV, and there will always be somebody who gets something marked down 85%...just don't bet on it being you!

The PoP sets at Targets around here went to 70% off yesterday. By the time I got there, all they had left was a semi-hidden ostrich race. They had dozens of sets, the week before

But they had seemingly random 30% and 50% off items at one store, in the main isle. City, Atlantis, Kingdoms, and even Harry Potter.

Yeah, Target started it's summer Lego clearance this week. All the World racers, City passenger plane and sea plane, Gateway of the squid, Tie defender all at 15% off except for Gateway which was the only one at 30% off.

POP sets dropped out of the system at 50% off today at my store.

I actually just had one go to 75% off. I got the last Battle of Alamut for $19.98 :D (original price listed on tag $79.99), and the last Fight for the Dagger for $7.86 (original price listed on tag $31.49). Another one only has the Ostrich Race for 50% off at $9.98 and the smallest set the Desert Ambush for %.xx (got the last one), all other sets gone. I actually used my Target RedCard for all purchases so it took that extra 5% off the final price which is always great.

Since you let the cat out of the bag,
I also found a couple unexpected surprise clearance items at a Target today. I just wanted to share with you guys and not let this get out to other sites, but I figure it's inevitable since it's no doubt not just YMMV and at this single Target. I wanted to make sure I could get a few of these sets at at least 75% off in a week or so without having to deal with the "change payment" return/rebuy method.

Here is what the Target had on clearance in the main Lego aisle, as always YMMV:

Atlantis Gateway of the Squid 50% off; IIRC it was $14.xx (left a dozen plus on the shelf)
Atlantis tiny scooter sub 50% off; IIRC it was $3.xx (left a dozen plus on the shelf)
Creator tiny cars 30% off; IIRC it was $3.xx (left a bunch on the shelf)
Harry Potter Quidditch set 25% off; $14.xx. (bought one for now and will return/rebuy and buy more if and when it drops further)
Lego Fire Boat 50% off; $24.98 :applause: (bought one for now and will return/rebuy and buy more if and when it drops further)

I will check for the TIE Defender and Passenger Plane as well next time, but there were no red clearance tags on any other sets but those I listed above.

Battle of Alamut for $19.99!?!?!? Wow. That's the only PoP set I don't have... would have jumped at that. What a deal.

Went to Target in Cutler Bay Fl, and snagged HPs the Burrow for 41.69, and they had the series 4 minifigs for 2.02, not a bad deal at all. We loaded up on all the lawn gnome figs we could find to add to my daughters skellie gnome army.

Just came from target, they added a ton of stuff to clearance, but it's only 15-30% off. I picked up a series 4 minifig (another hazmat guy) for $.74 and Knights showdown for $4.98. They added the ARC-170 and Tie Defender to clearance for Star Wars, which hopefully will get pretty cheap.

Everytime I see you profile image, I think it's Zangief shaving.

My Target only had a handful of sets on clearance, which unfortunately didn't include series 4 minifigures...because I don't think my Target ever got any. They did have the Cursed Cobra PQ set for 30% and a single Battle of Alamut for 30% off. Nothing at 50% or better yet.

Sorta off-topic, though you guys were talking about it a few pages back, I don't understand how K'Nex can get the license to Mario Kart Wii sets. Since I'm sure Lego is a more lucrative partner than K'Nex, I'm sure they had the opportunity to pick up such a license...and yet they didn't. I'm dying for some video game themed Lego sets. Oh well. Speaking of which, K'Nex gives away 300 Luigi figures everyday at 4:00 PM EST at www.knexpromo.com if you want to check out the quality of the figures. Haven't gotten mine yet, but I would guess the figs are not nearly as good as what Lego can do.

If there's anything the company (LEGO) is good at it definitely would be hearing out their customers. We're expecting a refresh on Batman sets and a new Hero based theme from Marvel for 2012. Not exactly Nintendo based, but they are heading towards that direction. ;)

Someone bought all the Ostrich Races at my Target the other day. I'd buy Battle of Alamut for 40 since it's the only PoP set I don't have yet.

I went to my target this evening, and the PoP sets were marked to 75% off.. for the two sets i could find at any rate.

I am the same way. One target is sitting on 55 for weeks now. The one closest to me is sitting at 65 again for weeks now. The rest of Prince of Persia stuff is gone.

As part of the new clearance (went to 3 different stores), I came away with...
HP Burrow for 33% off
HP Quiddich for 25% off
HP Freeing Dolby for 50% off
KD Prison Escape for 50% off
Atlantis Gateway of Squid for 50% off
