LEGO Deals 3

My TRU still has Lego. It's just a couple of JL movie sets and stuff like Rex's AT-TE from Rebels, though. All the little sets are long gone.

None of the Lego got an additional clearance, though. They're still sitting at 40% off at my store too, despite the fact that they close on the 28th.

I joked awhile ago that the only thing I wanted from the TRU closing was a price checker kiosk.  Well two weeks ago they put sale stickers on the machines.  They told me to fill out a form and drop it in a box and they would contact me.  Stopped by this week and all the price checkers have SOLD stickers on them.  Same dude bought all of them!  There are no deals in these stores...just depressing scenes.

My wife saw the Hogwarts grand hall at Target just now but the employee took it and put it back in the back as they’re not supposed to be out until Jul 1
 
So on minifigures... I *think* I counted 37 here. All Ninjago movie blind bag ones. Looking for... say 85 shipped? 
(10 of that is shipping... I've been eating too much shipping cost recently.)

I'll throw in some random ones I found cleaning too, bump it to at least 40 figures total.

Why? LEGO has done two complete sets to a box many times. As someone pointed out it's probably three complete sets of HP (48) and two sets of the FB (12) per box.

LEGO yesterday showed a 2019 Batman set, it's a Nexo Knight Mech without the orange or blues.

Saw that earlier.  That is a must get for me.

The legs aren't poseable though.  It's going to need some modding.

Looks like there's hinges underneath the torso, and the feet of the black lion have some articulation, so maybe poseable?

Over the past couple days I got another couple Edna's from different GameStops, some baby raptor polys at Walmart and today at a toy show I got a boxed original SW Rebels Phantom for $12!​

Wife and oldest picked up HP Quidditch, Whomping Willows and Grand Hall sets earlier

Google express has a coupon EXTRA25 for 25% off orders using google express. Several sets appear to be 20% off to start with through Target on google express and it stacks with the coupon too.

It wasn't, but I know that I personally wanted a Graves minifig so bad it was driving me crazy. I have every other minifigure from FB that they released with Dimensions and Graves was my favorite character in the film. He's maybe the most straight up baller ass motherfucking wizard in the Harry Potter world just because how he duels with his wand (or at least that's how I felt before they did that twist at the end). It really kills me that he's probably going to be as hard to find as the policeman from last series.

Hell yeah! I was actually just coming to post about this. If anyone has been waiting on SW, Infinty War, or Black Panther sets you can really get great deals with this.

I'm looking at picking up some Solo sets.

For me the complaining about the HP case breakdown is a little silly, I may not get them all in one swoop but I’ll eventually get them all so no big deal.
BUT... there’s lots of complaining about the SDCC sheriff Deadpool figure going on on social media. There’s one dummy on the Facebook page defending LEGO in everyone’s complaint post. To an extent I get the argument that these are a special thing for con attendees but LEGO is just so deaf to legitimate complaints about this. If anything make these available online and make the con versions with exclusive packaging or something. There’s gotta be a better solution than just ignoring your fanbase. It’s these con exclusives that give me no pause about grabbing a KO version.
 
The Express deals are pretty good but I'm super broke. I'd pick up the Black Panther and some other sets from like 42% off.

Also the ATM Spiderman set is now a Prime only deal at 11.99 but was still in stock as of this morning. I really want the robber figures, but once again super broke and out of room for more LEO boxes.

That said I did buy a NinjaGo Movie Fire Mech for $32. Love the figures. Might sell just the mech in the future.

Not the ones here, but that place and a few other sites. If a figure isn't widely avaiilable, BUT THE DAMN BOOTLEG! LEGO isn't selling it to consumers obviously, and buying it from someone else ISN'T HELPING LEGO ANYWAYS! So what's it fucking matter? ugh.

I highly suggest the knockoff Deadpool Duck. He's awesome, looks like LEGO with cool ammo packs that attach to the hip area. It's even better than the real thing.

Also the Aquaman set with the sand green pieces is $12 on Amazon still. Too many sales, not enough money.

I got a few of those KO Deadpool Ducks from a toy show for $3 each, great quality too.
One of the rare instances I am on Green Giants F U LEGO bandwagon.

Also I like to think I say FU LEGO Fans more than FU Lego. ;) My favorite is when LEGO cultist spent 100£ pounds on a 'costume' figure, like Godzilla because they are 100% LEGO, besides the head which isn't at all.

I bought a 6 pack of Super Hero Ducks like Deadpool. I was thinking I should have bought a few more sets, stuck the Spiderman, Captain America, Batman duck heads on actual minifigures, call them 'custom' and sell for $50 a piece.

No I don’t care about the case breakdown on the HP minifigures. I’ve never had a problem getting a whole series before and can’t imagine I will with this even if there are more minifigures total and and an uneven breakdown. It may take a little more time and effort but if I want them all I will put in the time and effort.

Maybe on other sites you complain about LEGO fans more but here you direct a lot of your ire towards LEGO itself. Some of it is justified but some of it you take too far. To each their own but the minute I get as worked up as you do about this hobby is the minute I just quit.
 
I complain about the case breakdown because stores where I live typically don't get full cases ever put out. There's either resellers on staff or resellers in the area that scoop them up immediately so it leaves me to order them online.

I didn't care about that for any of the other CMF sets, but because I like two of these HP characters (Luna and Graves), it bugs me. I've got my feelers ready, though.

 
I don't have as much free time as I used to, If I can buy a full case and sort them out at home it would be great but to only make one set per box, c'mon. They could have upped the count to at least 70-80 per case to accommodate the bigger sets.

I'm with BigDaddy, they can suck a fat one.

Well aren't you considerate to others? Only care about yourself and be damned with everyone else. I live within 25 miles of 5 Walmarts and two Targets and only one Walmart gets one box, that's it. But as long as you have your set then I guess everything is fine.

I wasn't even being personal or attacking you because of your rager about the HP case breakdown. Just pointing out that, to me, it comes off as a little extreme. The day I get that upset about a hobby, something that should be fun, is the day I reassess things and get out of the hobby. As stated before, some of your criticism is valid however you take it to an extreme I just can't fathom going to. Besides your constant harping about Lego as a company you always have some woe is me tale about your time at TRU. This place, and according to you, other Lego forums seem to be your venting spots. Maybe invest in a diary, write a letter or Tweet at Trump dude?

I am not sure how me relating a story of how I personally collect turns into me not caring about other collectors (my years of history of helping others on this board, Lego, Transformers, Blu-ray, etc. boards tell a different story, not that you are owed any kind of explanation, complete stranger on the internet) Oh yes I do - tEh eeVeLL tRumpz!!! Walmart just started some Lego clearance also.  Just about all the Lego Batman sets, Justice League, and some SW like Star Destroyer and Kylo's fighter.  Various sets from all the other lines too.  

I picked up the JL Aquaman set for $7 and the JL Knightcrawler for $30.

 
anyone build the boost set?  My son is in the middle of building it now.  The manual is an app, which is pretty great.  Each step is full screen and you can zoom into each section.  It would be great if they made an app containing all the manuals like that.
