Okay, going to be opening packs to make sets tonight/tomorrow

LEGO Batman Movie Minifigure sets, $60 shipped in the US. Set of all 20 figures from the blindbags. Drop me a PM if interested, might not start opening packs until tomorrow because I just sat at a convention all day without eating and I'm a bit dead feeling.

I punked the LEGO employee for a helicopter, a sign saying they were out of R2's would have been nice instead of having my time wasted.

I almost got the U-wing but really trying to keep my spending in check. I just wanted to hit the minimum for the Artoo poly really. Other option was the Luggabeast set but other than the Luggabeast itself that set is just meh. I've never had a Lego Y-wing, did have a vintage Kenner one when I was a kid though.

I think BB8 is the perfect keychain. My wife had one last year but she lost those set of keys. Her keychain never faded but seeing the pic in this thread I will just keep it on the spare set of keys we have to prevent fading.

 
I kind of hate life right now. You have no idea how much of a pain it is to sit here cutting bags open and assembling figures :p Wife and I spent a good solid hour doing it earlier... I woke back up and I'm getting back to it... need the space back.

I've been sitting here assembling the figures, and bagging them with stands/accessories. I'm not including 20 of the papers, or the little foil bags... both for my sanity of not shoving MORE stuff in, and because it's excess weight. These are NOT bootlegs from China, they're all official LEGO minifigures opened from the blindbag packs. I have 2 trashcans full of little foil wrappers right now if you really need proof.

Anyways, 5 sets available total right now, $60 shipped within the US. First-come first-served, not holding stuff, so once it's paid for, your name gets marked down and I start packaging to ship stuff tomorrow after I hit the store for packaging! (I need boxes/mailers, and I ran out of the little jewelry bags...)

TRU sucks in every way possible, not just working there. The store layouts is horrible, the planning is horrible, the staffing is horrible, working their is hell.

I think the last time I was in a TRU was 2015. Surprisingly in NY no one ever accused me of stealing when I had my backpack.

The one I used to work at is TRU / BRU so the setup was pretty straight forward.

However every TRU I have been in has a slightly different setup which is annoying, but worse is the way they all make you walk about in a weird pattern. You walk in and go to the right or left and then there is a some stuff and you are forced through a small opening in the aisles before yo are fully in the store. At the holidays it's just a mess. I know it's most likely to prevent theft, but it's just weird.

I'm ignoring your question as I don't know what the hell it means. :lol:

Not planning on it. We had the lowest prices at the show, yet people went to the booth with bootleg figures and paid *more* per figure than we charged for real ones -.- Isn't worth it.

 
Anyone ever buy at Lego for the promo item then return what you bought? Is it shady? frowned upon? Store give you grief? I bought the Y-Wing thinking I had my receipt from the Y-Wing I bought a couple of months ago.  I was planning on returning the old one but the receipt isn't where I thought I put it and and now I have two Y-Wings but want to return one AND keep the R2 poly.

They might be able to look it up based on your VIP card purchases. Otherwise, they will give you store credit.

That is fine, you already bought it and I don't blame you wanting a Y-Wing for cheaper and free promo. You should be able to look up through a card or VIP.

Anyways, hit the PO today, shipped the sold set and sent Sam/dv8 his set. 7 left! I'll be passing the post office on the way to seeing the transplant psychologist tomorrow, so if anyone wants one and pays tonight it will be shipped tomorrow.

You get rid of the other stuff first. Honestly, books, ebooks, DVDs, screw them, download them. Children, if they are over 14 and can't get you more free LEGO then kick them out. Plenty of room saved.

Trust me, when it comes to books I'm only down to ones worth far more than a set of these :p Kids?! WHO KEEPS THOSE? SERIOUSLY? GROSS. We have a rule - no kids. That includes other people having their kids in our house. This place is no children allowed. Period.

Plus, then I would have to hide the porn and cameras.

Have you guys noticed any yellowing on newer white bricks?  I've had my R2-D2 in my office for at least 4 years now and the white bricks definitely look like they're starting to turn a bit off-white.  There's no sun in my office, but we do have a lot of fluorescent lights.

The artificial lighting will do that to a lot of stuff, not just Lego. I've seen the same thing happen to furniture finishes.

Soak them in hydrogen peroxide for several minutes, but no too long, then set them in natural sun for awhile. It's how I'm getting my really yellow garage LEGOs from the 80s back to somewhat white.

 
Everything sold has shipped, down to about 5 sets... hit the iron while it's hot! :D

Wave 17 is a fun set, wife already snagged hers. She collects the LEGO stuff... I just encourage her bad habbits while she tells me no buying more Sideshow stuff.

If it gets bad enough, I'll try that, thanks. It's not that noticeable yet, but I might have to do that in a few more years.

 
Minecraft sets at Walmart Tinley Park IL (or maybe Orland). $60 sets for $30. One $100 set for $50. Don't remember what they were. Was too annoyed I'm only in town until tomorrow and don't get paid until next week.

Too bad the Avenjet is OOS online and in 99.9% of locations. $30 for all those exclusive minifigs / bigfig is awesome. But some of the sets are actually 40% off!

I'm trying not to go to the store. Already have three sets from last week I haven't put together yet. Really want that Phasma minifig and I almost bought the Sith Infiltrator at a higher price than this.

Maybe I'll stop by on the way home...

I bought the Sith Infiltrator for a bit under $60, this is a great price. Some of the sets appear to be in stock at some stores but it's always been hit and miss doing a store pickup on low stock items.

 
Sith Infiltrator OOS everywhere within 500 miles of me :(

I would pickup the Jurassic World sets if they had them all on sale, as everywhere around me sold out long ago.

 
There were about 50 Batman minifigures and 5 series 17 ones at Target. I bought a rocket kid, the others were corn guys and the 50s sci-fi space man.

I walk in and you think it's Christmas and not Mother's Day weekend, there is a sign 'Save 15% with coupon on clearance' as soon as you walk in.

All over the LEGO area "Save 15%... save 15%.... save 15%!"

Just glancing at the walmart ap and I see some new in store clearance like posted above. 

One store has Krennic's Shuttle for $54...gotta check that one!

Rogue One Tank for $21.

Eclipse for $15.

Lots of the SW bionicles too.

 
Yep, seeing the same. Battle on Takodana for $30 as well. Looks like they're making room for the June sets.

Edit: to save people some time, I have not seen any Marvel or Batman sets on clearance yet. Just the regular couple dollars off here and there.
