Yeah, I have been waiting for it to drop to free. Seems like all of the first episodes of Telltale game eventually become permanently free. Now to wait for a sale on the season pass. :)

I expect Tales from the Borderlands will be next.

Oh and it looks like there will be a Walking Dead: Michoone game.

still can't get ea access to work. It shows up to buy on the account I have the trial of gold on, and it shows up as free on the profile sharing gold, but then it tried to make me sign up for gold. Wish Incould trade one for a max curse of the brotherhood code.

I played this morning! Keep in mind there is a code for the beta and other to validate as DLC. Without the second when trying to launch it says "you are not authorized..."

Ya sorta. Just redeem both. I'm not home to even play it but I redeemed both codes on Xbox.com
 
There's a Terminator Genisys Advert on the 360 dashboard. The interactive trailer gives you -

- Resistance Theme Pack

- Terminator Genisys Theme Pack

- Terminator Genisys Gamer Pics

- Terminator Genisys: T-800 Avatar Prop

You cannot skip the trailer, you must must hover to target icons to interact which gives the items above.

* Edit - There's a DOWNLOADS tab to get the items as well. So I guess you don't have to watch the interactive trailer...

You can find the ad by going to games -> Enjoy E3 Right Here. It's one of the sponsored ads.

You do have to watch the interactive trailer to unlock the content. After you unlock them then you can go to the downloads area to get them all.

The ad is on the Canadian dashboard as well. Two controller trick works.

Wait, did no one else get the Microsoft email that I got last week...? I figured it was just a standard email to all XBL members, it outlined the stuff they're "working on" etc. Avatars was definitely mentioned, it said something like 'are coming back and will be updated' or... something along those lines. Maybe it's still in my Trash folder.

EDIT: And of course, like some kind of tinfoil-hat wearing unicorn, I can't find it now that I'm looking for it.

EDIT2: Aha! All the same info is here on Xbox.com that I had read (maybe the email really was a dream after all, or maybe it just linked me to this page), there's also a pic in the actual paragraph but here's the text:

Many times when one video streaming service offers an episode for free for a limited time, the other services also have it for free.

So you can also check VUDU, Amazon, CinemaNow, Google Play, and iTunes.

I've seen the Heroes of Storm ad a few weeks ago. I haven't seen it lately.

The Strain ad showed up on one of my other accounts I have. I've only seen the ad once.

Both were on the US dashboard.

If you have any other accounts, try those. I seem to get different ads with my various accounts. Hopefully some of these will show up in The Grid.

The Strain Ad is already showing up more on the dashboard. I've no luck with Heroes of Storm though ever since.

 
i just wanted to ask, i live in asia so i never used to get these ads in my dashboard but i recently changed region to usa and now i can see n click those ads. so i was wondering if changing region will cause me any problems? also i still cant use netflix or any other apps based in us since they track my ip for my region n not settings but its fine i think.

 
Plants vs. Zombies is now available for free on the West Coast. It's still listed as $14.99 but when you confirm the purchase it changes to free.
