I didn't need to hear that Carcassone was once free, though.
Pretty sure it was only free for a day as a Microsoft "we are sorry statement". Of course I could be getting that confused with Undertow...

Same here. Except I don't know why any of us want to know that (that he used 20 accounts). Seems like rage/troll bait imo.
I really didn't get The Undergarden. I didn't find it fun or relaxing. Just...meh, and usually, I'm highly attracted to games that make me go, "aw."
I tried it on Steam and boy was that game terrible.
I got 100 points on all 20 of my accounts.
you must love xbl and for someone to admit they have 20 accounts is just outrageous. i like a deal like the next cag but that's just abusing an offer and what not.

Why do I still not have Castle Crashers? Well, I'll be getting that and Comic Jumper, maybe Banjo-Tooie. I should eventually be refunded by Bing rewards anyway.

Here's hoping for awesome daily deals.
How is Banjo Tooie? This XBLA sales are killing my wallet and backlog.
Loved Kazooie. Tooie wasn't too great.

It's one of the best platformers out. Download the demo to try it out.
Thanks I forgot to mention that

Thanks, I will fix it.

Here is the whole paragraph:

Celebrate the countdown to the New Year on Xbox LIVE.
Get ready for your New Year’s Celebration with great entertainment and daily special offers from Xbox LIVE. From December 21 through December 31, we’ll have a new Xbox LIVE Marketplace deal every day. I’ll be posting the daily deals here on my blog and on twitter. In addition to the surprise daily offers, we’ll host 10 unique offers (see below) that will be available for the duration of the campaign.

I also make a point of mentioning there are two sales in the OP. If it's not clear, please let me know what I can do to make it so.

I'm not trying to sound like a dick, but it has been asked a couple times and answered just as many. It was understandable when I was just updating the OP, but not when it was answered and the OP update is out. I want to make sure the OP is not confusing anyone, or if people are just faceplaming
Thanks for explaining to a Non-US people

Same. The puzzles weren't very clever enough to make me pay any attention and I don't know how anyone could find it relaxing. Its just not fun enough to relax away to. Now if I was looking for a game to play while barely awake this might work. Even then I'd rather sleep.
what, can we get Raskulls already? ^^
Seems you can buy Raskulls and ilomilo through the World of Keflings menu and people already have review codes for World of Keflings.

I plan on picking up After Burner Climax and Banjo Tooie as I already own everything else besides Carcassone which I have no desire to play. I don't own the Claptrap DLC but I don't own Borderlands so I'd just pick up the GotY edition. Hopefully the daily sales are good as I've been semi stalking up on MS Points. 2260 at the moment and hopefully 400 from Bing Rewards will arrive soon.

Fingers crossed for Lara Croft, Limbo and Costume Quest.

Surprised at how many people don't have Castle Crashers and at how many are interested in Undergarden.
Surprised at how many people don't have Castle Crashers and at how many are interested in Undergarden.
I really don't understand any interest in Undergarden.

I got a good amount of stuff last year for this...I'm rather low on points at the moment, though. Hopefully there's a sale on the "expert zone" soon, I have a friend in that who said he'd pick me up some points next time there was one...

Comic jumper went on sale quickly didn't it?

I wouldn't be surprised to see several of the games that are in that current rebate promotion go on sale; the fact that the sales begin the day that ends is my sole "evidence" of my theory if you will. Guess we will see. I'm just glad they are doing various sales every day. It was always very lackluster last year when the new sale would pop up and it'd be a video rental...

Damn

If you are not in the US you may want to check the Xbox Dashboard or Xbox website for your region to make sure the you are getting the sale

Anyone else feel this way? I was a definitely a Banjo-Kazooie fan, but I'm not interested in playing a lackluster sequel, and I'm only marginally interested in more of the same. Are there new ideas in Tooie?

I disagree with that. Tooie blew Kazooie out of the water in just about every way. The levels were bigger, better, more in depth. There was always an amazing amount of stuff to do at any time. It simply expanded on every aspect of Kazooie.

Has anyone ordered the "400" points from Bing? Just curious if they are back on track with sending points out pretty quick. When they changed from 100 points it took a few weeks compared to a few hours.

That has it's own thread and i'm still waiting on my 400 ms points to arrive from last month's deal which should be arriving in a few days (hopefully).

Some of the things they did in Tooie was good. But I don't like it for the same reason you do. It was too big for its own good. Having to fast travel everywhere and go back and forth made it easy to get lost and forget what you're doing.

If you have the extra points, no harm trying it out. I don't regret when I bought it for 1200 (or 800, whichever it was). I'm always happy to support Banjo. Just wasn't my cup of tea.

OMFG...my refurbished Xbox 360 premium just RROD'd. It's well out of warranty, what the best to do now? I'm assuming I need to buy a new one rather than spend 100 dollars and get another crappy refurb? What's the best deal out there on 360's right now?

buy the $200 xbox slim or wait for an amazon deal on one. You can use your hard drive from the old xbox 360's with the slims. Look up a youtube video on how to do it.

this is not the thread for that, there's a thread for that too. a MOD needs to clean up this section with ott discussion(s). Anyways, all the daily sales for next week are worth it so stock up on Microsoft Points and raskulls reminds me kind of mr driller online in a sense.

Are we talking about the same thing? Did not know Bing had a deal for 400 points.
Just want to say, I've never played Go before, but Path of Go is really, really good.
I agree! I struggled through the instruction book of my Go board game for a while to understand the strategy, but this game makes a deep game very accessible.
Are we talking about the same thing? Did not know Bing had a deal for 400 points.
There was a promotion on the 360 dashboard where you purchased from 2 of the select titles and you were given 400 ms points back in a 'rebate' form where they add the points to your account automatically or send you an email with a token code. I remember purchasing alien breed 2 and rez hd for the promotion so i'm just waiting for the 400 ms points to show up in my account. The bing promotion is something entirely different, there is a thread for that and lucky people who got 400 points for that 'error'.

Hmmm, sounds like a must-buy to me... Thanks for the dissenting opinion.

I said it earlier in the thread, and I'll say it again. Tooie is one of the strongest platformers for the time it came out. I recommend it, especially at the discounted price.

I was only concerned because the N64 Rare games were not universally awesome. DK64, for example, took Rare collectible fetish way, way too far.

Sounds like Tootie was one of the good ones, though.

That mask went free sometime yesterday. Very sweet. I was always sad I missed it last time it was free. Plants vs Zombies is absolutely one of my favorite XBLA games.

Yeah, I only check the Free thread once/twice a week since most free stuff is usually easily found. Saw it there today and figured I'd share it here.
