I'm looking for a deal on a new or slightly used ds lite or dsi

I like the function of the dsi being able to play the vc stuff, but other then that i'm not sure what else it does. I'll be mainly use either of these for gaming. I can surf the web, take pics, and listen to music on my phone or mp3 player.


I wanted to play the mario and mario kart for the ds.

I'm looking for a DS lite cheap. Soon DS lites will go the way of GBA SP's. They just slowly fade away at full price until one day you want one, but they're all on eBay for $30 above MSRP. Nintendo already quietly phased out the white models.

Well the scratches aren't visible, but the dirt and grime that builds up underneath the outer shell is. Some of it can come out, but it's still a bit of a pain.

My L trigger broke recently on my DS Lite, so I'm getting a black DSi soon. Don't let that discourage you from getting a Lite though, I had it for a bit over 3 years before it messed up.
 
There's no game crazy stores any near my area. I think its a western US thing ?
Gamestop has the same deal where they have there's for the same price.

I like the matte or flat black dsi but just don't like the price lol
I'm gonna keep searching and hopefully I can get a good deal on one of them.

A lot of people seem to have troubles with the buttons breaking or the hinges cracking on the DS Lites.

Instead of a lite I'd suggest trying to find an original model. I've had mine since release, play it a ton, and it still works just like new. A couple scratches or scuffs here or there but everything is still 100% working like the day I bought it. I'm guessing the older models are probably even cheaper too.
 
If anyone is looking for a DS Lite, I got one on sale right here on CAG. CML for details.

Also, I don't recommend the older model DS for two good reason. The first is the LCD is actually backlit on the DS Lite (it's frontlit on the original DS and first model GBA SP) and a hell of a lot brighter. The second is the obvious weight difference (it really makes a difference).

that matte/flat black dsi is looking pretty good. I just can't afford the new price which is why i am here looking for the deals lol.
 
The used gamestop price is only $10 off the new msrp price, whats up with that?
I see a good bit of auctions on ebay for a new slightly used dsi blue and black (i'd prefer the matte black model) for around $100. Are they that cheap used or is there something going on that I don't know about?

I also see them on craigslist in the bigger cities like Pittsburgh and Charlotte that have them listed around 100 used. Which I live no where near. The only Nintendo handheld so called deal on craigslist in my area was a used nintendo ds original with 2 games for $125. I think you can get them at gamestop used for $75? I'm not sure too many people want the original for 125 ?

Anyway... please let me know here or by pm if anyone spots a deal new or slightly used, has one for sale at a reasonable price or is willing to make a trade.

Edit: actually I have seen and been offered what I thought was a great deal, but it did not go through. I was offered a flat black dsi used for $100 plus shipping. The user selling it decided to keep it and trade it to gamestop later for the fall release of games.
