once again lame show,

1 it didnt tell anything about the island. name one thing it told about the island

(it just told about ben)

2. lame ending you saw it coming a mile away (maybe not tonight but you knew it would happened before the end of the season)

3. who is that person who brings people to the island. Is it just me or does it look like he has black eye makeup on LOL

4. Sad no dragons. Then again we havent really seen any major FXS on the show. Though a dragon would really tied up another of the plot (that is the black thing you saw flying around when the plane crash. that is what ate the dude flying the plane. Ect.


5. WEEEE another stone but this time its a big DS


I now know where all the people are. They are stuck on nintendos island. the big black cloud is donkey kong and mario will come and save the all.

LOL would been funny if one the peoples names were MARIO


overall big thumbs down to tonights show. major hype leading it to, but nothing but a major letdown.

be interesting to see how many people wait 8 months to come back to this show
 
I don't think they will progress the story too much anytime soon. If they really plan to drag this show on for another 3 seasons (or whatever it was), then expect more episodes like tonight. I kinda gave up on them revealing any sort of resolution any time soon. With that said, I did enjoy tonight's episode.

It told about Dharma, which was a pretty major reveal. And what do you expect? They just said there are going to be 48 more episodes/3 seasons. If they reveal what the island is, why would you continue to watch? Besides, I would expect them to reveal more about the island in the finale than a few episodes before it.

well they were hypeing it all week. What is the island mystery. There is just so many weeks people will tune in and be let down and say the hell with this im going back to heroes or some other show.


Also off topic but why are they calling HEROES the final chapters if its coming back in the fall.

It's definately kept me entertained. I don't need everything to be revealed to me at once, that is what makes people come back for more. The reveals that I noticed were you finally found out if anybody from the original Dharma is left. What happened to the other Dharma members? Was Ben born on the island and how was that possible (letdown) if all the pregnant people die? But of course, it always poses more questions.

No idea what the BIG thing from Season 1 is, but I was very happy with this episode. I think they need to explain the "sickness" in more detail unless they ditch that storyline altogether. Maybe the sickness is the whole "I see dead people/relatives" concept. Who knows? I would love it if Jack was siding with the others now and that was the major reveal leading up to this big battle brewing between the 2 sides in the finale. But, I doubt this will happen.

And I really don't get the whole Jacob thing??? So there really is a Jacob but did he really do anything besides shake the house they were in? Like I said, more questions! But like most everyone else that bitches about it, I'll be back next week which is all the writers care about anyway!
 
So, what about that one guy who is now an 'other'. I don't know his name, but ben saw him as a kid. It was the first 'hostile' ben met with. Then, fast forward to the present, and they are still working together, but that guy hasn't aged a bit. Was that done on purpose?

maybe you don't age on the island, the whole time paradox thing that I had seen in discussions. Sort of being trapped in time or time not moving as fast as it should? Just a theory...

Edit - Ah, nevermind... That means Ben would not have aged either.

well, ben wasn't born on the island. Maybe that guy was.

At first, I wasn't sure if this was done purpose.
 
Also, did anyone notice the scene with jacob going crazy that they seem to actually show him for a split second. I thought I was just seeing ben or locke, but my friend also pointed out that he thinks he saw a third person in that scene. Anyone else catch it?

Oh hell yeah. I actually hit the rewind button on the tivo and played it in slo-mo. There is definately somebody in the chair when Ben gets tossed against that wall and they pan back to the chair. Unfortunately, even on the tivo, it looked like a bad "crypt keeper" dummy. Now that I look at it, it looks like a silhouette of Tom from the Others with his fake beard on from earlier in season 2.
 
Damn Bens father said he killed his mom...ouch.
The Russian didn't lie about the "war" with the hostiles. He also mentioned how he didn't die. He said that the fence wasn't set to a lethal level.

How the hell hasn't the black hair guy aged. I don't recall his name, he was the one talking to young ben in the jungle.

What's up with the ring of salt/ash around where Jacob stays.

Jacob is a ghost? But if you noticed Locke got a glimpse of someone sitting in the chair.

Ben dad was the driver of the van hurly found.

Ben killed his father which purified him. Sorta why he wanted Locke to kill his father. He knew from a personal standpoint that it would free him. Also everyone at the compound got killed.

The Vietnam like pit of dead dharma bodies. I also think that they showed us how the show will end in a war with two sides. Much like what ben said. He said there was two sides. One had to be ridden.

Locke better not die. I'll be pissed he, and sayid are tied for my favorite characters.

This was a great great episode.

I have a VERY strong feeling that Locke will NOT die. Such a seasoned actor as him will be with the show till the end. Something big is going to happen. (Obviously, May sweeps)

I agree, something major is going to happen and with 4 rumored deaths left...

We know one will be Charlie, I'm almost certain of that unless it backfires, then the only person who would ironically take the fall is Desmond.

I also think that a major character is going to have to die for it to have that IMPACT for a finale. I doubt it will be Jack or Locke. So, that would mean that the only ones left are Ben, Sawyer, Kate, Hurley, or Sayid. My money is on Ben and Kate... may they rest in peace? We shall see... I think Kate makes sense because I think the storyline will shift back to Jack and Sawyer and the impact it will mainly have on them (possibly causing more of a rift between them and the survivors since the Doc is no longer trustworthy and Sawyer is taking on more of a leadership role...) The 4th death, I have no idea. Maybe Patchy again or the french lady (more minor characters). This brewing battle is going to be great!

I think somebody really needs to clue Jack in...

That his sister that he has no idea about is on the island. Can't wait to see his reaction. Of course, if he is going to die in the finale, this needs to come out in the next few episodes which should be a "clue" that he is going to die.

Actually, maybe Claire will die and Jack will find out that is his sister. Never really thought about that. But if Claire dies, Jack is going to live.
 
My money is going to be on
Ben, Juliet, Russo. Ben and Russo will die together/kill each other. We all can see it coming. Juliet just needs to die, she has no purpose but to be a bitch. For my fourth and final... umm... it's either Kate, Sun, or Jin. I hope to god it's not kate cuz we need hotness, Sun seems semi-integral, but she can go. Jin just kicks ass. So i'll place money on Jin taking a bullet for Sun. Charlie will be the 5th obviously... unless desmond jumps in. But Charlie will die a glorious death taking one for the team. Locke will jsut live because he will ascend or soemthing BS... he can't die.

Highlights:
Predictions for who I think will die: Ben, Russo, Juliet, Jin, Charlie.

Anyways, I dunno about contracts and all that, but the way they are leading us to believe Charlie's gonna die makes me feel like it'll be Desmond instead. But someone here mentioned something about the guy who plays Charlie's contract is up or he's gonna do a movie or something, so yea, i dunno..

I'm tippin a 40 for Locke though :cry:
