haha yeah, both night games were sort of a bore, but at least the Louisville-Marquette game had it's exciting moments until it got away in the middle of the 2nd half. I actually watched most of the 2nd half of the UConn-Pitt game during my lunch break, but I had to head back with 2-3 minutes left so I missed the buzzer beater. A damn shame!
 
It's amazing since UConn hasn't done squat in the tournament in 5 years. I've been a huge UConn fan since I was a kid since my mom went there and my grandparents both worked for the school. Never really stopped following them in college either since my school (American)'s team is mostly shit (though at least we're D1!)

Yeah, huge fan here as well. My parents have had season tickets to the games in Hartford since I can remember. We actually made the trip to Detroit a couple years ago when they were in the Final 4 and got bounced by Michigan State. That was a bit too brutal for me considering the drive.
 
Hah yeah, pretty crazy! I don't know if I have any real rivals in college hoops. I sometimes find myself rooting against certain teams, but it usually has little to do with UConn. Notre Dame is probably the only school that I don't like in the Big East. Huge Big East guy and my bracket always shows for it, for better or worse.

You've been promoted to commish btw.

Everyone: BV is going to be advancing us on Saturday. I'll be keeping up with the thread still, but if you need someone temp booted or anything like that look for him.

Not sure what to do here.. Giants and I got disconnected twice, second time right at the beginning but the first game I was up 21-0 in the second and had just got another pick to give me the ball on his 10.

He had to leave and it's not looking like our schedules are going to line up for the rest of the day since I have dinner plans and will be leaving before he comes back and then when I return he'll be gone again. Really don't want to sim this since I had a handle on that first game. I wish uber was here...
 
Play the cpu, or just push the deadline till sunday at 4pm so maybe the other games get played and yall can try yours again? It would still leave a half day for people to knock out the next week game before the week starts.

Just play the cpu imo. Not like a 21-0 difference in the 1st half with the ball requires a rocket scientist to project who would have gotten the W on that one. Not to mention the deadline is today. uber gave you commish status right?

Yeah, I have it.

I'm waiting for a table at dinner so I wouldn't be able to play now anyway, but I saw he sent me another message and it doesn't look like he wants me to play the CPU. Of course the excuse is that the game was laggy, which people always seem to make forgetting that lag affect both players equally, lol. I don't really believe in the unilateral CPU game though, so I guess I'll see if he's still on when I get home.

I haven't advanced us yet, I'm hoping mog will play his game tonight and we will advance after that.

I need to go to bed so I promoted Doom to commish, he's going to advance us once mog plays, so if you want to get your game in I'd do it soon. If we haven't advanced tonight I'll do it early in the day tomorrow.
 
Looks like mog didn't play his game last night. I'm going to advance at 2PM EST today, so any games not underway at that point will be simmed.

I'm back now btw. What a game last night and my seats were amazing. I was one level from the floor, first row overlooking the Louisville student section. 2 seed here we come!!!
 
That would be quite an amazing turnaround if they went from a 4 or 5 to a 2 in just one week. I sure hope so!

Def worth going I went to lexington (lived in Louisville at the time) for when they played Stanford and texas a&m. Was worth every penny.
