Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!
Any thoughts? Any opinions on how to get it passed?
More needs to be going from the Eagles to Chiefs. Jackson's catching numbers are pretty pedestrian, and Berry is one of the top safeties in the game.

Broncos vs. Bye going down all week, baby.

I hate early byes, especially when I have no injuries (not that I want some).

the offseason gave me a chance to turn this bucs team around so im hope im a contender now but we shall see. and for now i think this puts me in the lead for are divison.
Hemingway, I just took a glance at your WR depth chart. You need to put Roddy White where he belongs on there, my friend.
ok not a problem i didnt think that was a big deal just because i like the routes better but if thats what ya want. ill do it in the morning im watching walking dead right now.

Yeah, I don't really buy that, sorry. If you like the routes better, you'd flip the play - something everyone who's been playing Madden for longer than 5 minutes knows how to do.. Be honest, you did it so you can get favorable matchups against #2 corners. I assumed it was common sense that it wasn't okay to do that, but as long as you fix it, we're cool.

Texans Survive a Disgusting Lagwave and Beat the Titans 28-17.

Had to air it out this week, no possibility for Foster to make his home run cuts when the game looked like it was chugging at 10 fps at times.

GG Cool you had a few really nice conversions, especially that 3rd and long to Wright.

He plays 2 in a couple packages, but he's one in everything else.

I don't freak out about it anymore. There are too many packages where the best receiver is in the slot during 5-wide anyway. Just gotta adjust.

Good game sgmsuperstar..game froze once..then froze again i had to restart xbox second time...kinda dissapointed in madden...three plays in a row a thing came up saying redo..and it redid the down..but I couldnt move with or throw the ball with brady..resulted in a fumble the third time and me punting from the end zone...overall patriots got sh..itkicked

Pretty much every playbook has those packages. Jackson and Thomas swap sides for me pretty routinely by default in the packages I use. Nothing wrong with those, but deliberately putting the guy in the #2 slot in the main depth chart behind someone he's got 12 points of OVR on is a different matter.

I looked through all the depth charts, and the Bucs were the only one doing it. He said he'd fix it, so there's no need to make it into a bigger deal than it is. Nobody's getting sent to detention.
but i deff still fix it just so it eliminates any further problems.
Much appreciated.

I've been noticing a lot more lag in recent weeks as well after relatively smooth sailing earlier in the year. I know most lag is generally caused by one player or the other's connection, but I do have to wonder if there's something more to it.

Gg, just a couple gripes with this one !!

Freaking 5 pass deflections/1 interception for me, meanwhile 6 interceptions/1 pass deflection for you...which is especially gay when my DBs are dropping picks but the DE Adrian Clayborn gets 2 really nice picks (0 drops) in zone coverage :/ I might as well blitz my DBs and just put my DEs in zone...they seem to have better hands, like I said earlier when the Saints got 2 d-line picks against me too.

And just that one gay play where Freeman eluded 1 or 2 sacks and then ran for like 20 yards lol. Cam should be the one eluding sacks! But I don't think I've ever seen him do it yet.

Oh AND the fact that a DB seems to win 1 on 1 match-ups against WRs for any jump ball....probably because WRs don't freaking JUMP on catches regardless of whether or not you push Y. I couldn't take advantage of my 6'4 97 jumping WR on the deep ball cause Barron would just jump up and snatch the ball because of the poor AI for WRs in this game.

That's all...I appreciate the gesture when you stopped your long touchdown run at the end near the 2-minute warning, but I called a timeout to kinda signal to you that I want you to keep playing your game, especially since it wasn't even at the 2-minute warning. I think you should play your game (well except maybe limiting your pass plays) even if you're up big, up until the 2-minute warning. I don't expect people to run out of bounds on interceptions or when they break a long run with 3 minutes left in the 4th. It just depresses me cause it feels like a pity move lol.

And Chris Gamble is like 6'1 or 6'2 with 97 jumping, so he's pretty good at the jump-ball lol. He might even be the best CB in the game imo (definitely like top 2 or 3) - he also has 92 speed, 99 man, 96 or 97 press, 90 zone...too bad he's almost 30 years old :(

Barron did have position on both his picks but i know what you mean about the WR not going up.

I stopped my run cause i wasnt sure on the whole rule and i new the lead was good enough. i deff didnt mean for it to be a dick move or anything.

I also wasnt saying anything bad about Gambles INT i thought it was beats and i know he is good.

But deff a GG and i expect another good one for are 2nd game.

only 30 he still has a few years in the tank then.
No he doesn't.
Well, when we played he was pretty exclusively on the left side of his formation for almost the entirety of the game. Again, no big deal to me.

he was against me also last season beating up on bently but he was back and forth on both sides if the ball.... but regardless wether he was put there purposly or by formation there is really no way to stop it .... people could change the in game depth chart or even if they said it was the formation no.real way to prove it.... as long as top wrs arnt lined up in the slot or at te thats all that really matters to me.
Trade up for review.

Texans Receive

Falcons 2nd Round Pick

Atlanta Falcons Receive

Antonio Smith RE 84 OVR 31 yrs old $9.61 Million Cap Hit 2013 (Last year of deal)
Trade Rejected

Considering the committee already rejected this same pick for Derek Wolfe, who is younger, cheaper and arguably better than Smith, we had to stick with that precedent.

Time to stop usering my safety and giving up those long throws. I look forward to having a real play maker on the edge.
how much u payin the committee! lol
For the record, I thought ubernes was insane to make this deal and I told him so. I still felt it was fair on paper though. Rivers is so accurate in this game, I'd love to have him on my team.
Trade-

Vikings receive:
2nd round pick in 2014

Cardinals receive:
Christian Ponder- QB, 25 years old, 73 overall, 2 years remaining, 2013-2.76M, 2014- 3.22M

Vick appears to be a 1 year filler so I'm trying to get a qb to groom for the future and I figure he's as good as any qb that I could get in the second round of the draft next year, plus that gives me an extra year to try and improve him.
This one
Was the ponder trade judge by the committee?
Sorry, somehow we completely missed that. We'll get started on it now.

I wish I was able to get a position I had at a higher need (SS, RG, LG), but OLB was the 4th on my list and no one was jumping to take on Rivers and his contract so I did what was there. I'm also trying to get away from throwing the ball as much so I'm hoping the downgrade becomes less noticable than it might say last year when I was throwing it more. I also hope that since I know Schaub isn't as good, I won't get my self in trouble trying to make ridiculous throws just assuming Rivers skills will make it happen. I can definitely blame a lot of my picks on me assuming Rivers can fit it anywhere on the field.

Can someone reach darth for me, im working nights and i really dont feel like having to wait til the last minute 2 weeks in a row. I pmed him yesterday but i just want him to know my schedule.

Uber should be able to.

He's been out of town this weekend. I forget when he told me when he would be back, but he said he should be able to look at some trade stuff today so I assume he'll be back in touch soon as well.

I want to make some trades, but I'm not really sure what I want or need for my team. Probably should take that as a sign not to make any.

Schaub?

Devito is still on the block though! Probably my only player of interest I'm looking to move right now for those looking for a 3-4 end or 4-3 DT!
Schaub?

Osweiler is pretty much better than Schaub already.

Besides, his sterling performance last week has me pretty convinced that most of his struggles have been due to me and not him.
