Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!

Looks like the Redskins won, setting up some interesting scenarios for Week 17.

Eagles hold the division tie-breaker over the Redskins, but lose the WC tie-breaker to the Niners, so their only path is the division.

Redskins are in with a win or a Niners loss.

Niners need a win and a loss by either the Eagles or Redskins.

well im done watching the pats game its everything but over

i hope that saints owner and i can get our game in tonight

Man was beating me like 45-14 or something like that at the end of the 3rd and we got disconnected. I'm letting him play the CPU.

if i had my choice it would be falcons vs ravens superbowl

tony g and ray lewis to battle it out who retires with the trophy

I have to agree with this.

Broncos playing it ultra-safe on the injury front this week. I've been too healthy this year, I have a bad feeling I'm due. No Osweiler, McFadden, Thomas, Dumervil, Champ, or a few other guys. Vince Young gets the start at QB, though Sanchize may see some action as well.

Broncos-Dolphins going down shortly.
I have to agree with this.
there just so much in that game.

Flacco vs Ryan guys that were rookies together

ray lewis vs tony g both about to reitre both first ballot HOFs

No Tom Brady theres just so many positives

Mog and i tried to play but it gave us the "game no longer exist" message, so we decided to try again later in the week.
This is a beer and headset game for the Broncos btw, to give an idea of how seriously I'm taking it. :D
Wait...you don't drink every game? Maybe I should that that for the playoffs!

Dolphins lose to the Broncos 41-21. Sanchez and Vince Young brought their own lube to this game, and proceeded to rape my defense of it's virtues.

Denver Broncos 41 - Miami Dolphins 21

The Broncos clinch at least the 5 seed and finish a perfect 8-0 at home (some good that will do going on the road in the playoffs) by beating the Dolphins in a game featuring more joking around than effort from both sides. :D

Vince Young got the start and went 7 of 12 for 107 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs.
Mark Sanchez came in for the 2nd half and went 9 of 12 for 175 yards, 3 RDs and 0 INTs. Needless to say, career highlights for both of those losers.

Tannehill went 21 of 37 for 248 yards, 3 TD and 4 INTs.

The Broncos gave McGahee 4 carries for 11 yards before pulling him in favor of Addai, who had 3 for 11.

Tannehill had 9 carries for 92 yards.

Julius Thomas had a big game for the Broncos, catching 6 balls for 97 yards and 3 TDs. Mitchell Osborne caught 5 for 76 and 2 TDs.

Fasasno had 9 catches for 108 yards and 2 TDs, while Millines added 3 for 45 and a score.

The Broncos got 2 picks from Harris, 1 from Haden, and 1 from Carter. They also got a sack from Von Miller, and 2 from Quincy Black once he relieved Miller. Merriman also picked up one of his own.

The Dolphins got 2 sacks from Misi and 1 each from Wake, Starks, and Tyson.

gg as always Fero!

Broncos finish the season at 11-4-1 and start packing their bags for a trip to Buffalo. The Broncos beat the Bills 49-31 at home in week 8, but they're taking nothing for granted having to go on the road.

Looks like the Jets ruined the Eagles' playoff party.

Redskins now take the NFC East with a win. Interestingly, a Redskins win would also clinch the WC for the Niners (as will a Niners win, obviously).

Eagles need the Redskins to lose in order to make it.

Solid season 2. Very happy to not end it 8-8 after my hot midseason. Making the playoffs was the goal here obviously but a nice bounce back year for the Jets.

I just checked my season goals and noticed I was a rush TD and 51 rush yards short for most of my OL and my FBs. Certainly wasn't for a lack of effort on my part so I don't think being aware of how close I was would have matter, but so. close.

Denver Broncos End of Season Report

Did these last year, want to get back to it. Can't provide as many good team stats without XFN, but I can at least glance at my player stats.
Record: 11-4-1 (2nd in AFC West, probably), #5 seed
Offensive rank: 9th (pending Week 17 results)
Defensive rank: 11th (pending Week 17 results)

Passing:
QB Brock Osweiler: 125/207 (60%), 2,433 yards, 22TDs, 18 INT.

All-in-all, a solid sophomore campaign from Osweiler. He still had his ups and downs, but in a run-first offense he gave me enough to remain competitive on most weeks and there were others were he put the team on his back if the rushing attack wasn't working. Still young with room to grow, but he's definitely no longer a liability like he was at times in season one.

Rushing:
HB Darren McFadden: 185 carries for 1,137 yards (6.1ypc), 13 TDs, 3 fumbles
HB Willis McGahee: 133 carries for 760 yards (5.7ypc), 16TDs, 0 fumbles

The Broncos were even more run-heavy this season than last, and did a much better job of incorporating McGahee into the gameplan as a change of pace back. Almost 1900 yards and 29 TDs between them, can't complain much about that production. McGahee was one of only two backs in the league with 100+ carries who didn't cough up a single fumble.

Receiving:
WR Demaryius Thomas: 28 catches for 873 yards, 10 TDs
WR Vincent Jackson: 35 catches for 744 yards, 8 TDs
WR Mitchell Osborne (r): 17 catches for 381 yards, 4 TDs
TE Julius Thomas: 21 catches for 341 yards, 5 TDs
HB Darrn McHadden: 29 catches for 209 yards, 1 TD

The passing offense was much more balanced this season, as opposed to last season where Thomas did almost all of the damage (and earned himself a Pro Bowl trip). No guy had a sterling season, but the ball distribution was excellent. This passing game is a work in progress, but I like the way it's coming along.

Defensive Leaders:
Tackles: ROLB DJ Williams, 71
Sacks: LE Elvis Dumervil, 9
Interceptions: CBs Haden/Bailey/McCourty, 5 each (yay season goals)
Forced Fumbles: LOLB Von Miller, 4

Kicking:
Matt Prater 12/12, Long of 57

On to Buffalo!

Looking forward to this rematch....seemingly nothing went my way the first time. My game has definitely changed since we played. Good Luck

...unless staticz decides to tank in order to make me play Baltimore instead and also stick me with the 1st place schedule next year. Crap, I shouldn't give him ideas. :D

Freeman QBR 89.4 337 yards 2 TD 2 INT
Smith 89 yards 1 TD rushing and 50 REC
Baldwin 77 yards 1 TD

Houston adding another pick.

Locker QBR 75.1 355 yards 4 TD 5 INT
Johnson 95 yards Locker adding 35 yards
Jones 99 yards
Calvin 104 yards
Scott 6 Tak and 2 sacks
Barnes 2 INT

GG Sprice love a shoot out.

Walker 1,444
White 1,138
Baldwin 1,040

I almost did it, but I couldn't stand not grabbing the only e-trophy I'll probably ever see. Chiefs seal up the division with a victory over Chicago. I look forward to hosting Mog sometime soon!

Congrats on winning the division. I knew that tie would come back to haunt me. You definitely benefited from that 3rd place schedule, but congrats nonetheless.
Either way I'm ready for all the 2-man press defense, McGahee/McFadden and the uber-efficient Osweiller.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :D

That's why I don't worry too much about posting my recaps or season stats, everyone who's been around the league long enough knows what I'm running already. Then it's all about execution.

FYI - I have to work a scheduled outage Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Depending on when we advance (if we manage to advance early) I may not be able to play my playoff game right away. Sorry, but I wanted to let everyone know well ahead of time.

Round 1 picks:

Ravens over Chiefs - Chiefs had a great season, but I don't think anyone is going to mistake the Ravens for a typical 6-seed. They're the defending Super Bowl champs after all.

Lions over Niners - Seems like the Niners lost to most of the elite teams they played this year, and Detroit is definitely that.

Panthers over Redskins - Panthers tough luck to finish the season 13-3 and still end up the 5 seed. Definitely like them in this one.

Abstaining from picking our game...classy :applause:

I actually think Bills vs Broncos is the most intriguing game. I've played both of you guys several times and the games are always difficult and almost chess like. Should be an awesome game.

The fact that 3 of the 4 active past champions are playing on the first weekend, 2 of them on the road, speaks to the insane depth we have in the league right now.
Colts manager? Can you play our game tonight?
Send him a PM.

You're definitely going to find that's the best way to contact most people. You can always check the first page of the thread for everyone's contact information as well.
