Practically all multi-disc 360 games (ME2 included) require you to switch between all discs to play the game, whether installed or not. Forza is the only game I can think of that has a second disc that you only install data from and never use to play.

I swear if I ever meet the Bioware heads, I'm going to ask them why they don't just nuke BSN and start over. Can't stand the attitude over there and just stick to the tech support section of the forums.

Wish I had thought to ask something like that to Greg Miller of IGN on Thursday when he was asking for questions to ask Casey Hudson. I'm sure Greg would have asked him a question like that vs. the serious question I posed.

[FYI Greg Miller has a Daily Show ripoff style show called Up At Noon which posts at noon Pacific on youtube.com/start. Casey Hudson is the guest this week (Hudson had larangyts so he's not at full strength) and later today or tomorrow they'll post the full interview which is usually around 15 minutes or so.]

My PS3 copy shipped from Amazon and will get delivered tomorrow. Not sure if I'll start it up, or try to finish Uncharted 1 this week first and wait until the weekend when I can pour more time into ME3. Though I may not have time to finish UC this week either...but I'll likely start ME3 this weekend either way! And just leave UC1 to play on weeknights when I only have an hour or so to play.

I'm glad to see I recieved a confirmation email from BB that the CE will be ready for you tomorrow at said locale...and I shall smite them with a 50% trade inbonus via GC's and a receipt for proof.

Got the same email. I just hope they actually PULL my copy and put it behind the counter.
 
Amazon usually ships games to me from Nevada or Texas, my CE is coming from Wisconsin so it won't get here until next Tuesday.

Guess thats the risk with FSS.


Might hit Gamestop tonight to see if there are any extra CE (pfffh).
Or I can get back to re doing my corrupted FemShep playthrough.

I'm going to be on edge until I have my CE in hand tomorrow morning. I wish I had kept my Amazon preorder too. :p I can't take this anxiety. :lol:
 
woot, my 2x CE guide, reg guide, all shipped, my CE and regular version are Shipping Soon. Midnight launch at GS for my other 2 CE's... BRING ON SOME REAPERS!!!
 
I think the most agonizing part will be waiting for both discs to install and "from ashes" to download. Maybe the art book can keep me distracted for that long? I suppose downloading the soundtrack will take a bit of time too.

I may just have to go to this...

I read somewhere that the Canada CEs get an inflatable Omniblade. Apparently it's the same one they gave away at PAX 2011. Must be some old stock sitting around.

Been seeing them on eBay with the Normandy codes for like $10.00 shipped if anyone cares enough to want one.
 
Ending up buying 3 copies (one for my sister, one for my self, and then the CE just came back in stock). I'm not sure what to do. I guess play the regular edition until the CE shows up and sell the other as used? Pretty lame.

very common for them lately I have noticed. A lot I am sure are "reserved" back to cover orders, once they all go through, are cancelled, etc they put remaining stock back up until gone. If you need one get it now I doubt they'll be up long!
 
Looks like the 360 copies are gone on Gamestop. Lists as available until you try to add them to your cart....

So Jennifer Hale (femshep), Ali Hillis(Liara) and Raphael Sbarge(Kaidan) will be at the LA midnight release in addition to Mac Walters and Casey Hudson. Definitely the most star studded midnight release.
 
I was thinking about getting ME3 on the PC as well from GameStop just to get the preorder bonus from them hoping that it would work for the 360 also. I have ME2 on the PC from when my 360 died. I have not played it on the PC since I picked up a new 360.

I just got an email from Amazon.com saying my 360 CE shipped and should be here tomorrow. When I set up my prime trial the customer service rep said it would not be here till the 9th and I would not be able to get release day shipping. I'm glad to see that it will be here tomorrow. I wont be able to play till late thursday night but at least it will be here.
