Metroid Prime Pinball has gone down to $19.99 at BestBuy's site (price drop?), which is probably the same for B&M. If that's the case, you can use the GGC coupon instore to knock it down to $14.99.

I did a search for this, so I think this is not a repost. And it looks like people are buying this in the B2G1 deal at TRU, so I figured I'd make this thread since this deal is better.

Can someone tell me where to find the Best Buy GGC coupon? I am probably looking in the wrong place :)dunce:), but everytime I try to search for it I come up empty handed. Any help would be appreciated.

Considering the rumble pak is $10 by itself at Nintendo's online store, this isn't a bad deal at all if you're going to play Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time or Metroid Prime: Hunters.

Any help would be appreciated.
At the stores around here, they're usually on racks (dedicated just for gift cards) towards the checkout counters. They're in CD case-like thingies, and I think they're blue this time around. I think not all stores have them though... I searched everywhere at one of the stores nearby and couldn't find any (though I found plenty at a different one).

You can either pay the shipping, or just not buy it. Hating them is unwarranted (they're not selling to other people specifically to hurt you) and pointless (it hurts you, not them). Not to mention that BB as a corporate entity does not have an ass.

Mine seems to have a problem stocking DS games. I really wanted to clean up when they had that $10 off coupon earlier this year but they never had any of the games I wanted in stock. I am talking about big sellers too like Castlevania, Animal Crossing, and Advance Wars. I think they just grossly underestimate sales on DS games.

Scored! Thanks OP! Confirmed $19.99 in-store at one of my local best buys, and I found a plethora of ggc's at my other local best buy. So it came out to a little over $16 after tax, much better than the newegg deal, especially considering I still have a lot of best buy gift cards.

Oh and the in-store copies had the "Rumble Pack Included" on the packaging, I can't speak about the copies you order from the website, but I imagine they will have it included as well.

I almost gave up hope of my BB having GGC left in the store, but one day to my surprise, I found where they had put them. Try checking around the checkouts first, where my store used to have them. If no luck, look near the top/new release cds, thats where they are at my store now.

Edit: Thanks for the deal, looks like I can finally pick this up and give it a try.

Not sure where this GGC may have been, but I used the Best Buy Buzz coupon for 10% off, came to $19.07 after tax, not too bad. May go back and look again.

See my post 2 up if you aren't having any luck finding them in your store.

They are good for $5 off any $19.99 priced game and up.

Definetly have to try to get one of those gift cards coupons myself. And the pinball since i'm more then likely going to get hunters.

Can you use any of the gamer gift cards for any platform? Every time I go to Best Buy I can only find PS2 and EA gamer cards, will those give me a $5 off coupon for DS and Cube games?

No I don't think so. I swear that those plain GGCs are becoming more rare everyday.

Thanks for the tip topic poster. I've wanted Metroid Prime Pinball for awhile and since the rumble can be used on more than one game I think that I'll splurge on it!

Thanks op! Picked up one. I must say, the rumble feature is quite different than the usual rumble. Its like sort of hollow, but it isn't bad I guess. Just feels really silly at first, like it's givin you all that it's got...like a car engine that thinks it's a plane engine, or something.

Why do you feel the need to comment? EVERY single time I want something from my BB, they are out, or have stopped carrying it. I'd absolutely LOVE to shop online if they didn't charge shipping and I could use my certificates online. Null and null on both counts.

If this was a one or two time event, it would be different. This is at LEAST double digits in the last year, when I bought my RZ membership. What good is the certificates if my local store doesn't have what I want?

The Best Buy in Saginaw, MI has a whole crapload of MPP's marked $19.99 if anyone wants to try the GGC deal. Personally, I just bought the last copy of Puyo Pop Fever for $9.99

Oh yeah? Good deal, I'd love to get PPF.

I've never played Puyo Pop Fever. Do you recomend it.

As comparison I thought Mr drill drill spirits was average. And i'm more then likely going to get Tetris ds for $20 as soon as I see one for that price.

Puyo Pop has always been one of my favorite puzzle series, and PPF is no exception. If you like puzzlers... and you like challenging puzzlers, there's really no good reason not to get it.

It's kind of funny if you ask me... the cutesy visuals, the syrupy voices yelling "fiddlesticks" every time you make a mistake in Fever mode... everything about it gives the appearance of a game made for children... but the game gets real hard, real quick. It's not the leisurely puzzle experience that Polarium or Trozei is... it's more the type of game that routinely kicks your ass, and gives you a real sense of accomplishment when you finally play a good enough round to get past the opponent.

I wouldn't bother with the touchscreen controls though: they're pretty accurate 95% of the time, but in a game where every match seems to be close, you really can't afford the occasional mistakes, and coming from a background of playing a lot of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, I've always been more comfortable with the d-pad + buttons scheme for Puyoing.

thanks op, ill have to pick this up. i was going to order the rumble pack from nintendo for 10 bucks, but i might as well get the game for a few bucks more.

 i'm home for spring break.

I jumped - tons at the Southfield, MI store (sold out just about everywhere else). It's tagged $34.99, but rang up correctly - $14.99 after GGC.
(and no, sadly there are no blue GGCs at that store)

Still a lot there? If you need a place to pick up the GGC, head to the Madison Heights store.
what does ggc stand for anyways?
Gamer Gift Card.

Damn. I would definitely jump on this, if I could find any GGC's. My local store had plenty of last years version, but haven't got any of this years! Hmmm...anybody with a lot of GGC's at one of their stores want to pick some up for me? I could send a few bucks via Paypal your way...

EDIT: Too slow to answer the question.

Had to go to the BB in West Dundee, IL to get the GGC's and to the BB in Geneva to get the game. Also used a RZ coupon to get Metroid Prime Pinball and Killer 7 (GC) for $21+ total.

so do you have to buy a gift card then to get the coupon? I don't get it quite yet. Could I ask a BB employee about it or will he not know what the hell I'm talking about?

For those who do not know what the GGC is. Here is the coupon on the back. The front is light blue and has the metalic repeating design. It is NOT the dark blue one for ps2 ( that one is 5 off 29.99 game) or the green one ( Xbox $5 off 29.99). I cut off the bar code which they just scan.

I'm tempted to go out and buy this, especially to compliment and complement my recent purchase of Metroid Prime Hunters. The rumble feature works on both...

So I went to BB and picked this game up...unfortunately, they didn't have any GGC's.....actually I talked to about 5 employees and they had no idea on what I was talking about....finally one guy knew what the GGC was and said that they only offered it during the holiday season and that any BB's that still had them was because they didn't sell them all during the holiday rush....can anyone verify this?

P.S. still a good deal for $19.99, even though it was still tagged for $34.99
