Microsoft Announces Power Cord Replacement for Xbox

Cool, free cord for me...

Since XBOX lanuch, only thing I had to replace is the cord... FREE

while (as of 2day) I had to replace my PS2 system 3 times.
I just wishes sony would make better hardware....

just got my cord too, the cautionary sticker is funny:

an exclamation point in a triangle and a picture of someone reading a book right to left style

I wish the replacement wasn't a big AC adapter. Wish it was like how a GC cord is like. Now I have to rearrange the way I plug things.
 
When were the HALO LE XBOX's manufactured????? It's really a pain to get to mine w/o unplugging everything......just thought someone here would have an idea.

Just got my cord yesterday. Wow, we all got them around the same time. I'm surprised it arrived so quickly.

What a pain in the ass though, it's one of those big adaptor cords. I don't have room for all my plugs now.

In all regions except Continental Europe, Xbox consoles manufactured before Oct. 23, 2003, require a replacement power cord.
