Microsoft is doing too much. Microsoft started in this video game industry with a Video Game console, brought innovations such as Xbox Live, integrated internet modem, and a gaming store. But currently, Microsoft is doing too much with their Xbox brand, and is bringing a lot of mixed messaging. The big one is "Everything is an Xbox." Microsoft brought Xbox Game Pass (codenamed "xCloud."), and is now concepting a hybrid gaming console, and a handheld in two different forms.
