Modern Warfare 2 CAG Clan - Wednesday/Friday @ 7PST/10EST

Nobody really got on, Mercanary seemed to be waiting but nobody else was on. I tried a few matches just to pass the time but I'm going back to playing VC2 now.
 
Sorry....had issues with the children in my house....I can understand the 3 year old....I cannot understand why I cannot get the 38 year old to act responsibly. That is all I shall comment on the matter.

I'll be on around 10pm CDT Friday. Maybe we need to start off one night with a hardcore TDM to get everyone to slow down....and use silencers + cold blooded + ninja stealth action.
 
sorry for lack of apperance lately this new job on a assembly line is really kicking my butt . been so tired lately i tried to hop on a play a few last night but just didnt havent it in me...

speaking of which. i am starting to get that feeling where mw2 just really isnt driving me to want to play it lately. you guys are the only reason i have stayed on there this long but i dont know if it is the fact the fun has really disapperared for me in it, and now it feels more like a grind/work.. i think i may step away from mw2 for while . maybe i dont know. and then come back with a vengenace when moh/ Black ops comes out. let me know what you guys think
 
In the midst of moving to a new job. Haven't been on much and actually moving soon. Yay for more money, boo for less time!

I just realized you have 7 blog posts, wish I noticed that sooner.

I'm personally just hoping that people I like to play with hop on whenever they do. I enjoy it a lot more even if it's me and one other person, like Fred and I bro'd a lil in Hardcore TDM yesterday, which was a nice change of pace. Mercanary kept killing us though, so we're going to have to put him in a corner and beat him with soap filled socks.

MW2 is a bit of a grind, it's definitely work and if you don't have the time, by all means take a break. I'm due for another break but I haven't seen Kaiser on as much so I'm probably not going to be able to take one for a little bit. Mostly it's about avoiding burn out, I'd rather come back rusty and refreshed than be serial killer moody.

I have some errands to run today, but I should be available after 430pm PST. I should be on throughout the day before then, but I wont be able to commit to any games because of said errands.
 
i think you nailed on the head exactly mad .. i have been feeling a little burned out on mw. i may make an apperance tonight got the weekend off. but other than that my gamefly sent me the new spiderman game and i got a real cheap like 20 cheap copy of red dead since i like it so much when i gamefly'd it
 
Meh, I'm going to have to look into some Verizon stuff. I need to find out if it's a safety feature to disconnect me from the FiOS terminal or somebody figured out how to hack my router out of the loop.

Not that it should bear repeating but I've been playing with some of you guys for a while now. Please please please remember that you shouldn't need to be told which bomb to go for or which point to capture in Domination because they never change. You do the hardest ones first.

I don't take well to being spawn camped. Period. I just won't deal with it because somebody didn't push the right bomb site. I will log off and I will leave people that decide to act like noobs, even if it's on game night. I'm tired of people throwing matches and making me suffer for it.
 
Just so it's known, I've decided to keep my Halo: Reach pre-order, if for nothing else to play the game AND get the $20 credit from Amazon. I should also be getting my review copy for F1 2010 next week, so I probably won't be on MW2 very much, if at all for the next few weeks.
 
Maybe we just need to start playing the objectives again. I cut my teeth on doing objectives, it's all routine for me but we haven't done any in a while, so maybe we should be doing more Demo and such since TDM is rather simple.

I'll be on after 3 EST today for anybody that wants to play. I've got to grind out Deagle kills but otherwise I'm all for some good gunplay.
 
I've taken an unofficial break from MW2. I've been playing VC2 and now downloaded Fallen Earth. I'll be around for game night but I really need to recover and I don't think it's fair for other people when I'm moody.
 
I just played MW2 and did terribly... not quite as fun as I remember it being either. Guess I'll make my hiatus official now too.

A different breed of gamer comes out at night. They usually camp a hell of a lot more and you get the west coast hosts with the Californian asshats that are strictly focused on camping and spawn camping. There really isn't much to do against them, it's why I avoid playing late(aside from having to work in the morning).
 
Well, I'm over Fallen Earth, it's a good thing I didn't try to get Nubbles to play it with me otherwise I would have heard no end to it. VC2 is fun but I like to grind for some godforsaken reason. I never finish RPGs because I grind instead of proceeding, thankfully there's points where I do have to stop but it's really getting several shades of retarded that I'm running out of classmates to max out links to.

I just wish I found that out sooner, because that would have saved me a ton of time and it's an easy way to get some cheap experience in with Cold Blooded for those who may want to Pro it but don't want to do the work.
 
Not that I would have had any time recently, but I probably would've tried Fallen Earth....I mean, I loved Fallout 3 and FE looks right up that alley.

Not sure I'm firing this up again...maybe someone could persuade me, but Dead Rising 2 is calling in two weeks, then Fallout New Vegas, and then Black Ops. I know DR2 has multiplayer co-op, not sure what other modes, so if anyone else is into senseless zombie violence.....

I've got my buddy coming over tonight, we're probably going to grab some beers and hang out with my dog since he's broke. If I strike up MW2, it's only to have a phenomenal time with you guys and hope he gets a kick out of our antics. If you don't see me on, I may be boozed out in my backyard getting tackled by a 100 pound bitch who will be high on treats and from meeting a new person.
 
Alrighty then, I see nobody is on really. Had a relatively decent game with a crappy team. I'll catch you guys later I guess. My buddy and I will be chilling out the rest of the night.
 
Jumped on for 30 minutes last night, no one was on. Played a few TDM and lots of idiots online. I doubt I will prestige again. Anyone else go FFA booster hunting? Those youtube videos are hilarious.

Hmmm....maybe I will play tonight....although I will need a warm up match or two.....maybe go find some boosters in FFA. BTW, there is nothing better than finding that....made a whole group of boosters quit several times. It only makes it better that they tell you where they are going and let you through to pummel them. Of course, they do get pissy the first time you kill all of them.....after the fifth or sixth time they tend to rage quit.

I did manage to make it down to 2/3rds on my spare battery after I fully drained the first, I'll have to charge up my third(fourth?) spare so I don't run into that in the future. I also got a really bad allergy attack that turned into a full on head cold, so I felt crappy before and now I'm just popping vitamin c and tylenol just to make it through the morning. I took the day off from work though, I'm thinking I should sleep since I slept in roughly 40 minute spurts until about 4 am then I woke up at 6.

I will however be up for booster hunting, I only really ran into one set on Highrise but now that I know where to look for most of them, it's doable. I need to level up some handguns to atleast Akimbo, maybe the G18 too.
 
You know, out of every time I've played MW2 I've only run across maybe 2-3 instances of people "boosting." I think a lot of it is that he's just joining the same half-dozen people over and over. I'm actually glad I dont run into it, because I probably wouldnt even bother playing at all.
 
Looks like my drinking buddies flaked on me tonight, so I am going to do some anger management on some noobs, who is in for some gangland style beatdowns?

Apparently this cold has officially kicked my ass. I walked my dog and came back barely able to sit up. If I don't show up, that's why. Hopefully there will be some chicken soup in the mix tonight so I can be mighty Modern about my Warfare too :)
 
Yeah, I'm too sick to really go for a great effort. My reaction speed is crap, my eyes hurt, my ears are clogged and it just makes me grumpy. Nothing on you guys if I grumped, I just found it hard to breathe at times, making it frustrating for me.
 
Tac Inserts...I have seen a rise in them. I used them for a game the other week, it can be useful to put one on an objective and when you die you basically come back from the dead behind your killer. :rofl:
 
I was on earlier with Fredrigo. We did quite smashingly, even with the crappy teams we had. I had a beer and felt better, I need to pick up another six pack of Dos Equis but I really am not paying the outrageous Deli price for it($11). I've also had a few coughing attacks, although none quite as good as the one where Nubbles laughed, then coughed and then barfed. I'll be around if anybody wants to play, but no promises, I can go from great to damn near dying in one coughing attack.
 
played for a few hours last night and it was rough. been playing other games and i was a bit rusty.

it only got better when i put stopping power back on.
 
I think my AK is broken this Prestige or I'm just not doing it right. Last Prestige it worked fine and I'm half tempted to remove all the PS3 data and reinstall everything just in case. On the upside, I'm feeling a fair bit better, still crappy but at least I'm not honking on the mic nor am I dying when I cough.
