Well, aside from the pre-order bonuses, there's also a free Sackboy mod & kart that will be packed inside the first shipment of games - just make sure you get one of the copies with the Sackboy sticker on the front.

As for more beyond that - who knows? The interview that IGN had mentioned that they DID have mods for other licensed characters that they haven't released yet, but I don't know if those will be free or purchaseable DLC in the future.
