More Game Crazy / Hollywood Video Closures?

Not sure if this is another round of national closures or not, or if the company is just starting to slowly fold one store at a time, but the word I got from a friend of mine who's friends with the Manager at Game Crazy is that the local store here in Waterbury, CT is closing, and all stock is being liquidated starting Tuesday. Just giving a heads up, definitely check out your local stores, because from what I've been told, it's going to be a complete blow out, where they just want to get rid of inventory as fast as possible.

If somebody could post the link, it would be helpful, if the one near me is closing, I'll have to stop by after work on Tuesday.
 
Yea it says here another 400 stores are closing this year. I have store credit at a GameCrazy I hope they call or something to tell people.

Prence those are from last year. GameCrazy just announced 400 more that will be closing.

There's eight around me that are closing only four of which I've ever been to. Strangely enough, the closest one to me isn't closing even though it's in this secluded strip mall. I guess that's good news since it's the only one with a Gamecrazy still attached to it.

I wouldn't go too much by those lists. There is one fairly local store that is starting it's closing sale on Thursday, and it is listed as being one of the April 29th ones.
 
confirmed in austin. they are closed today and tomorrow and will have a sale thursday. can anyone who has been to stuff like this tell me if it is worth the time and effort to go by when it opens and try to cheap games? like, can i expect discounts such as $20 copy of lost planet or $20 copy of oblivion. these would be good deals but probably not worth my time for games ive already played. i guess what i am asking is will there be INSANE markdowns or just like good deals that you could match on ebay?
 
Yea I have a closing by me it looks like from the new list. What type of sale will this be? Anyone been to one of these?
