Hey all, I have a feeling I already know the answer, but I'll ask any way. Do you guys know of a way to move your game saves over from the original XBox? I would love to continue playing some of my BC games, but REALLY don't want to start back at the beginning again (KOTOR and GTA:SA are a few that stand out).
I have the Xport w/memory card, but have been too damn lazy to port over anything!
so why did u get it?

This is exactly why I'm waiting to start playing KOTOR (haven't played either of them) until I get a 360. I don't want my Xbox sitting around just to play a handful of original Xbox games.

KOTOR's saves are too big to fit on a memory card. Ninja Gaiden and many games that play over Live have their saves locked so you can't copy them to the memory card.

Uhg, thanks for the replies gang ... it looks like I won't be finishing KOTOR any time even remotely soon. I sure wish MS would have brought out a solution for this, but a year and a half after launch is too late to be focussing on this issue for them.

This actually looks to be the solution I need ... now to just see about getting these items without having to spend over $60.

I saw some thing at gamestop that lets you save your xbox games on your PC and I assume you can then transfer to your 360 via you computer. I am not sure but it is something to look into.

How difficult would it have been to offer online storage of saves through XBL? You pay $50 a year....would 10MB of space been that tough to throw in?

Then you wouldn't even need to own a memory card to game.....just the Core and an internet connection. It would actually drive people to Live. If you have memory or a HD.....you could use it as a backup or place to transfer files between systems.

I think MS missed a opportunity here.

To port over my saves, but with work and a 3 year old, I just don't have the time. :(

I'm depressed over this as well. I have a bunch of Xbox games that I still have to finish and some I still want to open and play. Oh well. At least I beat most of them (KOTOR ) and most of the others I can play using BC like Psychonauts.
