Yeah I can see throwing Halo 2 to the dogs but mercenaries is good quality entertainment and he could have traded that for something really good.

It just seems like ebay or a trading site would have gotten you cooler stuff for those 2 games.
 
Are FYE trade in values YMMV? I brought in Deus Ex for XBox, figuring that Id get some crazy trade in value, and it came up as a measly 4 bucks. Should I just pick up Room Zoom and other weird games and trade in, because that seems to be the trend at FYE.
 
You traded in 6 games for 32 dollars? Crappy games or not, they bent you over the counter and gave it to you hard. Why do people waste their money like that?

Add to that the fact that it sounds like you wasted a lot of time driving around. I don't understand why people consider saving $10 worth wasting 3 hours of their time. Bah....I can always make more money, tomorrow comes when today is over no matter what.

Also am I understanding correctly that you spent $65 cash and ended up getting $93 credit out of it? Ten traded in 6 games that netted you only $2, because trading in 3 and 3 should have gotten you $20 extra trade in. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, because this seems like a crappy day. Next time just ask some old dude in the street to kick you in the nutz, take your wallet, and call it a day.

Agreed. Halo 2 is one of the best games of last year, and Mercenaries sounds like an amaing game. You probably could have gotten much more money for those two if you had tried harder. (I.E. Ebay or trade on here)

Well, yes, it is called "FYE", but it stands for "For Your Entertainment", and the store locator is here: http://shop.fye.com/StoreLocator.aspx

Not all stores deal in all items -- for example, the Nashville store does not buy or sell games (and they have a lousy selection of anime). It looks like there are several in south Florida.

It's FYE...which stands for For You Entertainment. They are few and far between in my area. Closest one is some ways away.
