I picked up Nba live 2004 a while back and never really played it , but just rented NBA live 2006

i really dont care about grahpics just gameplay ( how easy it is to play) and 30 year GM modes...


would you go buy

NBA Live 2005 complete for 7.50
or
NBA live 2006 for around 25 bucks

did they make enough new features in 2006 to make you run out and buy it if you already own 2005

(i know nascar 2006 and march madness 2006 didnt include any really new that made me want to run out and buy them)

so if you already own (or going to own ) 2005 is 2006 worth the money


(im renting 2006 right now but thinking of buying 2005)
 
2005 and 2006 are basically the same but with updated rosters.

2006 also has a freestyle thing where certain players can do some crazy moves.
Like Nash has "playmaker", which enables him to do some and 1 style passes.
J-Rich has "highflyer" and can do crazy dunks.
Stuff like that.

The Dynasty mode sucks compared to NBA 2k6. Its really just a lot of text. But I did enjoy making my own fantasy team.

I guess its ok to stay with 05. Its still pretty much exactly like last years.
 
i wonder why that is... Was ea too lazy to get off their fat asses to do major updates or are these games pushing what the PS2 can do....

nascar 06 is good if you play onilne and actually use your team to block. i havent played march madness but isnt there some kind of defensive lock-on with the second analog stick?
