I just got back from my first trip to Kmart since the incredibly terrible "10-50% off clearance games" ad from 2 weeks ago, and this time there were quite a few unannounced drops. What I saw was:

:ps3:
Bioshock GH $6.99 (previously $9.99)
Front Mission Evolved $9.99 (previously $19.99)
Rock Band Country Pack 2 $4.99 (previously ?)
Dragon Age II $17.99 (previously $19.99)
There were 3-4 other rock band track packs for $4.99 also (previously ?)

:360:
Bayonetta $9.99 (previously $19.99)

:ds:
Glory of Heracles $9.99 (previously $14.99)

If I go again in the next few days, I'll let everyone else know what else went down. Best of luck to everyone finding some other deals!

I got the $5 for KMart clothing too. I haven't gotten any surprise points with no minimum purchase in a while but last time I got $4 for Housewares, I could use it on anything in the store.

The funny thing is that I haven't been involved in almost any of those, though I'm usually the talking point. Like Vig said it was a hacked mod and I wasn't the only target. I was well aware but I'm, wisely, choosing to ignore it for the most part.

Eld does seem to be a polarizing force when he exposes the full degree of his flipping addiction. The so called heated argument was more to do with general rudeness than Eld. People start attacking each other and Bam!! firefight.

Why the mod hack resulted in only Eld getting banned is interesting though, Eld must have some motivated frenemies.

Why me ? I'm not really that bothered by Eld, I get upset at people who attack me, especially when I only added my opinion to a discussion. For instance my comment was just a review of what happened, but if I was inclined I could get upset at being accused of doing something clearly against CAG. I do have programming skills, but not in the hacker sphere. I just don't have the time to monitor AWD so I concentrate on flipping items more easily obtained. Those profits are then used to buy my kids games.

What's funny in that last exchange I responded via p/m calling my protagonist an idiot and was admonished by the Mod for using the p/m system. My point to the mod should punish the person who threw the stone, not the guy defending himself. It seems something like the bully always wins if they are ignored all the time.

Back semi-on topic.  I got surprise points on my accounts also.  All 3 had $x off $x at Kmart, and $5 off at sears. (no minimum)

 
Heh, I wish our local stores had deals like these.  My local K-Mart still has Uncharted 1, 2, and 3 for only $59.99 each!  Even though they still had a couple copies of the Uncharted Dual pack right next to it for $40 IIRC.

 
Found a Harvest Moon 3DS game in West Covina. Decided to grab it since it was 2 dollars.

No Star Fox though!

When did you become godfather of CAG? I knew you were an affable guy, but it seems your banning left some people really shook up. LOL. Guess I never noticed since I mainly stay to 2 or 3 threads.

 
yeah, black label means non-greatest hits versions. came into common use during the ps1 era when gh versions had the hideous green stripes on the cases.

black labels are preferred by collectors and other people with ocd about their shelves having a uniform look.

 
Uncharted 2 (black label) doesn't go more than $16 on eBay. Uncharted (black label) goes for $50+ new (if you're lucky) on eBay.

I found a flingsmash for $19.97 for a new wiimote + that's a steal. Also got the elite transporter case x2, no other deals that I saw.

There are a few different Uncharted 2's that have a black label, and remember it got a GOTY treatment that is also a black label. As one of the highest reviewed games of all time it would be worth picking up for $10 or less if holding onto games like that is your thing.

 
Not sure if it's been mentioned but saw a couple Raving Rabbids Travel in Time on Wii for $1.97. Thought I'd mention it in case anyone was interested.
 
The last time I was in Kmart, I grabbed a couple of the PS3 New Owner's Kits and let the cashier keep one for himself.  He is now on my side and had no issues checking a few prices for me today.  Only a couple of finds today, but the future looks promising as he had no issues price checking 5-6 things for me.

Forgot to mention it was completely sad the other day when I went there. Half the games were gone including everything that had once been on clearance but gone back up. The KZ3 CE I've been waiting like two years to go below $50 was gone as well. Pretty sure this store's going to be dead again for a while.

Oh I guess I should have tried then but never had any luck with the ones that were value labelled. That and they just marked a pile of stuff down like $400 for me the other week and then let me pick up a pair of those $35 3DS systems so I don't want to be a nuisance.

I forgot to post now that I got rid of my two copies of Dance Central: Target gives $5.70 for them.

The two copies I got at Kmart had the $15 value sticker, but no new barcode stuck over them.  They looked them up in the RMU and the manager OKed selling them to me for $2/each. (original price before clearance/oos was $20)

So for $4 I got $6 in XBL credit + $11.40 at Target :D

Oh, and not Kmart, but if you have $5 in "surprise points" for Sears, they have some Outdoor Life brand jeans on clearance for $4.99

Picked up 3 pairs on 3 different rewards account for the total of $0 which was nice since I needed some new jeans. :D

 
Went to 2 different Kmart's today looking for Starfox.  The first one had a copy of Pilotwings Resort with no price on it.  When the cashier went to ring it up it came up as 0.01 like others had said in this thread.  He called a manager and I was able to get it for $4.  The second Kmart only had Harvest Moon 3DS but it rang up at 19.99.  I'm probably going to try to hit up a few more Kmart's in the area since it's worth the drive for Starfox.  

I also walked by the glass cases and saw 5 pink XL's just sitting there  :(

I was looking at a few games online and remembered a couple deals I forgot to post about. Not clearance but sale items I believe. Maybe we see these clearanced in the near future due to poor Wii U software sales.
