As you were posting, I just put the 3rd to last copy in my cart, along with :360:KoFXII. Glad I jumped on this when I did.

Did I understand that Newegg sent some people the LE of this game for the $19.99 price?

Edit: Looks like Raiden IV is now sold out. For those interested in :360:KoFXII, it looks like there are about 17 copies of that game left at $22 a pop (compared to $57 for the :ps3: version).

nice my local walmart is a graveyard for old games... when they first go into clearance they sticker them at 19.99 or 39.99 and there they stay... forever...

they actually have a ton of xbox games from 5-6 years ago... still priced at like 29.99... it's rather disturbing....

needless to say I stopped looking for clearance games in there...

Got my AC/DC track pack which was sealed. Used the code and submitted the trade-in to Toys R Us (getting $4.50 back). Never even put the disc in my 360.
 
I decided to pick up Nascar 09 from this sale. Not because I'm a fan of Nascar. But because you can load this into the game.

I got the Xbox version for $9.99 awhile back. I like the game, the Kraken level was a major pain in the ass but over all I enjoyed the game. Plus most of the achievements were relatively easy to obtain.

What? How could anybody not think that movie is funny? Whether or not you enjoy Ferrell's brand of comedy is completely subjective, but there are so many other great characters in that movie. Sacha Baron Cohen and John C. Reilly are great, and the two kids are hysterical. I know there are some people who don't like "stupid comedy". But seriously, get off your fucking high horse.
 
Did anyone else notice that some titles get your free 3-day UPS on your whole order? Most titles try to force that EggSaver shit on you though. I added more games to my last order after the 2nd title I added to my cart made it free UPS. I really don't understand NewEgg's logic when you're actually paying for the 3-day though... If you add 1 game to your cart, shipping is 2.99. Ok, that's perfectly reasonable, BUT if you add another it jumps to 6.79. Uhhh 2.99 + 2.99 = 5.98. WTF? If anything, shipping on the 2nd/multiple games should be LESS! I feel like placing separate orders when I can't score the free UPS just to make a point.

Anyway, I ordered Zoids, Guilty Gear 2 Overture, Superman Returns, Battle Fantasia for 360, and Full Auto 2 (PS3). I'd probably order more of the $20 titles if I didn't have to replace my damn DLP bulb now. I already have a huge backlog of games to finish, but I hate passing up deals cause you end up getting raped if you want to buy some of these titles new once their out of print.

I actually love Ferrel and don't think that movie is funny at all. Just because someone doesn't like a movie that you do doesn't mean their stuck up and on a high horse.

No, it's just some lame making-of-the-game DVD, not the movie. I have it because I happened to find it really cheap and wanted the game anyway, but it's definitely not worth paying any extra for.

FEAR Files is the last good FEAR experience you'll get; same controls/mechanics, new enemies and weapons. I liked it. FEAR 2 is complete garbage. The idiots copied Bond/CoD. I can't stand that zooming in to look through iron sights shit. The gun blocks half the screen! I prefer the on screen cross hairs at all times.

edit: Monster Madness - Battle for Suburbia (360) is 7.99 right now. Has anyone else had issues with NewEgg's secure server lately? I realize I'm on dialup, but I can browse the site so much faster than I can checkout, and it's pissing me off. For some reason that secure server takes forever to load each page during checkout. I don't remember having problems before.

I just got my copy of Raiden IV when it was $19.99 (I managed to get the LE too!), but it's now $37 on Newegg, so you can't quite get it as cheap as it was a week ago.

I also got my copy of :360:KoFXII and both games were factory sealed and had the MS seal on it too, for those that worry about ordering from New Egg. Last I checked, there were 7 copies of KoFXII in stock at Newegg @ $22 and if it follows Raiden IV's trend, it will go back up to at least $37 when they go out of stock, for those that are interested.

Respectfully, I've got to disagree. It's definitely a budget title, but I'm playing through it right now (the :360: version) for a second time (to get the Brutal Difficulty achievement) and I don't find it all that bad. It's very mediocre as far as shooters go and could be considered poor without the glaive mechanic, but the glaive & gun combo make it entertaining if you can get it cheap. $8 is a good price for the game in my opinion, considering it will take you 8-10 hours to get through the campaign one time, a little more if you go for all the gun upgrades, so $1 an hour for entertainment works for my budget. Beware though, the online community, without boosting, is dead, unless you stumble on an unranked/social game on an occasion, so don't expect much on the mutliplayer front.
