I loved this... as many people suggested getting the fastest card you can afford, having no clue if it would make a bit of difference. I have a Samsung Evo 128GB card that I picked up during black friday for $25.... and just got 3 more at walmart last week for the same price on clearance. works well enough for me.
Hopefully someone opens their returned JC, so we can see if a new board with a better antenna was installed, or if they just did a quick fix of some kind. Either way, as long as it works, that's the most important thing, I'm just curios as to the fix that was used?

Just got out of a chat with them. They couldn't make any changes to the order because it was in the preparing phase, so she offered to create a replacement order and I could return the original copy when I get it. I had to decline because I have the Visa promo on that order and didn't want to lose it. So then she offered a $15 partial refund for the delay. I'm pretty satisfied, even though I really did want to play Isaac this weekend. After it's all said and done though, my order total is $67 shipped for the Pro Controller and Isaac after the Visa Promo and delay refund.
Which one did you buy? Let us know if you see any lines developing after sitting in the dock for a while.
As an update to my first amFilm tempered glass screen protector...I played BotW for about 4 hours yesterday, removed the Switch from the dock and noticed the adhesive is creeping up to the visible screen portion (at first it didn't bother me because it was just on the bezel).Yeah...I'm not too pleased. I mean it came in a pack of 2 glass protectors. I'm waiting for this one to get scratched up before I try the other. Anyway, pic below. I peeled up the glass and it is just the glue of the tempered glass...no issue with the plastic screen. And everything was perfectly clear before docking the system.
I waited 2 days (played Zelda in handheld mode) and played for a few hours after I was able to dock it again. Again, I didn't wait to cure the protector after installation. I did email TechMatte about it and they did say they have done testing of the screen protector on the dock and didn't come across any issues on their end. They did tell me to make sure there were no bubbles when the protector is installed (there wasn't when I installed mine). They were nice enough to send me another pack. If the new ones don't work, I'll probably look into the ones by ORZLY.

Came in a non-descript box from NOA - but the dock itself wasn't in a box.
Techmatte sends an email directly to you after purchase. If you respond to them directly through that email with any problems, they will bend over backwards to make you happy, even if 1 protector worked fine. I had the "plop" issue (screen separated from the tabs too early, causing me to try again with the 2nd protector) and less then 3 days later, a new pack arrived in the mail, and I told them my second protector went on perfect. Not many companies would do that as long as 1 of the 2 protectors works.
Yeah, after what what happened to XeroFun I'm going to wait about 24 hours before I place the tablet in the dock. Everyone should learn from what happened to him or her and not commit the same mistake.
Yes, please learn from me. I am going to take my initial one off and try out the 2nd one and wait 48 hours. To be honest, no where on the instructions does it state that you should wait for it to "cure." Usually you only have to do that when you are working with a wet install of a screen protector.

Yeah, I've been using wet and dry installs for ages, and the wet is the only one I've ever seen that needed to cure, as the wet agent has to dry. The same way you get a tint on your car windows, and they tell you not to roll down the windows for a few days, as they need time to dry properly. The standard dry screen protectors are held in place with static cling, and once it is flat on the screen, and the bubbles are worked out, it's as in place as it will ever be.
Yeah, and it's in store only if you can believe it. So none of those overpriced bundles online. I think maybe "N" told them if they more more stock, "cut that shit out", if anyone's going to fleece our fan base, it's going to be us. LOL
Normally I would agree 1000% , but posts here and at other places showing ripples after a few hours of play after applying the protector had me concerned and 2 days in handheld mode is not that big of a deal. And so far so good.
For sure, better safe than sorry, as there is no harm in waiting. Like I said, those protectors may use an adhesive that is new to the product, so anything is possible in regards to the finished product, and how it may be affected in certain situations.
