Yeah it was posted on steam forums: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2223353 but unfortunately they were late for the party..
well seems like they removed the link from support page on IGN and it seems like gamestop codes doesnt appear on those link anymore.I guess they fixed this.
I had great timing yesterday when i saw this thread. I were able to get BF3 :) Thank you

Hah, that post was probably me, but the keys died like 5 seconds after I posted so oh well.
 
Once again, big thanks to Conkerkid11. Thanks to him (her?) I got BF3 and free gamefly until Jan 2014!

I'll be checking this thread periodically to see if Skyrim or any other good games are put up.

That's a him, you're welcome, and thank Soliunasm (Cookie Monster Guy) for the Gamefly codes. He posted the link to the post on Steam, and that's where I got the rest of the links on the front page from, except for maybe a couple that I stumbled on myself. I also got my Gamefly subscription up to around that time, and regret using all the codes, and briefly pausing during the process. Just thinking back, each code selling for about $15 on Ebay, I obtained about 50 codes, and used them all. That's a lot of money. :cry:

I would certainly hope that IGN does this again, but once again, these links have probably been up for a little less than a month now, and we've just stumbled upon them. So what I want to know is whether or not IGN cares how they were given out, and if they will continue doing this.

Remember how much attention that Dirt 3 problem got? Every website that publishes video game related news posted something about that immediately. But here we've got free copies of Battlefield 3, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, and what? Lifetime subscriptions to Gamefly? Hmmm...

You only had to be an IGN member (no Prime required) although it was (obviously) intended for only Prime members.

Keeping an eye on this and this. The most recent posts are from users contacting IGN about not receiving codes, and they signed up for legitimate two-year Prime accounts to get them, so we'll see where this goes. One from the first link even quoted support, saying that they're looking into the issue, as if they didn't do it on purpose. Though that was posted seven days ago, there are more recent posts with user complaints.

IGN's really done it this time.

Edit: Both OnLive and Heroes of Newerth still show that you get rewards for signing up for 2 years of IGN Prime. Hmphhhh... Liars.

I'm really sorry for the bump, but to anybody still keeping an eye on this, click one of the links. As you might just have noticed, IGN has taken down each and every "Code Redemption" area, and each leads back to the IGN Prime Hub.
 
Just as an update, IGN got wise to the direct links - all of them, including the MW3 one, automatically redirect you to the Prime hub now. Looks like this is dead until someone finds another exploit.

They only do that if you're not already signed in. Earlier if you weren't signed in and clicked the links, they'd bring you to an error page. Instead they bring you to the hub, where they attempt to convince you to sign up for Prime. Also, the only reason it's dead is because the codes don't show up now. Replacing them are empty grey boxes. It's possible that it will come back, seeing as how their forums are flooded with complaints from people who signed up for the 2-year service and never received their copies of Battlefield 3.

Oh, my mistake. It only brings you to the hub if you're not signed into a Prime account. I still have a Prime, and it brings me to the page with the blank box instead of a code.
