Just got out of online support with GAME. Apparently if you live overseas they just flat out won't send the Ni No Kuni II King's Edition to you despite offering international shipping. The rep even noted that is in hidden in their delivery options and that this isn't clear at all. Payments aren't going through because the system in auto-cancelling without telling the customer.

Me: Hi [Rep], I was trying to pre-order a game and the website isn't letting me.

Me: The game in question is the Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - King's Edition

Rep: Can I ask are you trying to order this to the UK or internationally?
Me: Internationally.
Rep: I would be auto cancelling as we are unable to ship orders internationally that are over the value of £100 I'm afraid.
Me: Oh so that is the reason. I had no idea. The system just says that my payment isn't successful. It didn't say anything about that.

Rep: Yes, it is hidden in our delivery options, I do admit it should be much clearly to confirm this.
Me: So I can't order this if I live in the United States? Not at all?
Rep: I'm afraid not sorry.

That sucks and GAME should post that on the product page instead of random cancellations or failures to process the order.

They're generally wankers anyway as multiple people have said.

GAME are god awful to work with. I just had to return an order for 3 'new' games that were all opened and beat to hell. Then they refunded me 10% instead of the total amount. And they also promised to pay for my return shipping. Well, 2.5 weeks and 5 emails later, and I'm still out $55 with no end in sight. They are actually worse than Gamestop, which is a very impressive feat.

I would complain about their idiotic fraud cancelling and how difficult it is to use Paypal with them. But any order that is cancelled is actually doing that individual a favor, so it wouldn't be right to.

Hmm, that's interesting. My SNES mini is under that limit but I understand they started cancelling/preventing those shortly after it went live presumably because they were getting hammered with international orders. That said, I've never ordered anything over that limit so I wonder how long that policy has been in place.

I just ordered the PC version and it went through fine.
 
Did Amazon UK have King edition up for PS4 At all? Dammit. Maybe I'll try ShopTo again but I couldn't do their verification earlier

Well they do a pending charge at the beginning but then it goes away until the item ships.
 
I just put in a PC King's Edition order on Amazon UK. Only have 2 things pre-ordered on there now. The PC King's Edition of Ni No Kuni 2 and the PS4 Mithril Edition of Shadow of War.

Just as reminder to people that you should try and place an Amazon UK order even if it says "Does not ship to the US".  The worst they can do is cancel it.  And if you are lucky, it places the order and it ships to you.

Case in point, I still have an order in for the SNES classic through Amazon UK (It shows my arrival date and everything) and I live in the MIdwest US.  Granted I won't believe I'm actually getting it until it's on my doorstep, but what have you got to lose??

I've ordered things before where they added that message after the fact and I still got the item no problem. They mostly add that to discourage people but if it still lets you order it then you should be good.

I don't think anyone knows for sure yet. But if you go to Bandai's page for it and hit preorder, it is only has listing their own store, amazon, and gamestop atm. I would rather it at best buy too, and am still hopeful it will pop up. Best Buy gets most of their CEs, if not all so far. But to be safe I locked in an order directly their bandai's store.

 
Eww... I don't want the PC version. I guess I'll have to create my own makeshift edition by buying the UK PC King's Edition + US PS4 standard edition... which is ironically still cheaper than buying the US Collectors Edition.

How easy is it to cancel a preorder from Namco's store? Thinking about putting in a placeholder order there in case I can't get one on Amazon.

yes. i preordered the CE and then when i found out about the coupon code, i canceled the original order with no issues. theres a button u click

 
Wow. It sold out faster than I expected. I just hope it's as good as the first one. One of my all-time favorites and easily among the best games last gen.

It seems like the outer box doesn't have any console markers. If you swap out the PC for a PS4 copy, no one would be the wiser :whistle2: :whistle2: :whistle2:

Yeah I'm with you. Would have preferred the PS4 Version. Didn't realize it sold out so quickly 😞
