FAQ:
  • What is this thread? A massive collection of limited edition games & other attributing items, included with links.
  • Why put it all in one thread? More traffic due to collaborating interests.
  • Why is that important? This keeps the thread popular and doesn't risk a failed CE from falling through the cracks unnoticed.
  • What can be discussed here? Anything relevant to what is posted.
  • Why make another CE compilation? Karma.
  • Where are the big pictures? Still here, scroll down. Due to the increased number of CEs, a preface post is needed.
  • When is the Final Fantasy XVI CE? Not announced. Granted, IF it does, you can bet I will devote an entire page to it.
  • What about other CEs that have been announced? Give me a minute. It takes a bit of time to format the title, price, date, & retailer links in correctly.
  • What about the Book/Steelbook/Console/Misc. Picture Posts? I condensed the thread. Not necessary to include pictures for all those items. They will still be included in the Everything List post.

I thought mirage was a cool change. Not a big fan of the open world games they've made. I skipped Valhalla and odyssey I think was the name. I enjoyed black flag and mirage was good enough. Could be better though. I Guess so far im not that immersed with ac shadows yet cuz the story isn't anything special and it's open world. I'm playing it on Japanese and it's not bad so far

As it should be. I feel English shouldn’t even be an option. Japanese people were not speaking English in 1700 era Japan.

I think it's a good game if you like Asssassin's Creed games. Me personally, I enjoy them but they are also games I get bored of very quickly because the gameplay loop doesn't do a lot to stand out and there's not a ton of variety in the gameplay. I think the biggest flaw of these games is they're too big for their own good. I usually just want to run to the finish line of these games before I'm even halfway done the stories because the worlds are so big that even halfway in you've already spent 25 hours on the game. For me this isn't the type of game I enjoy sinking 50+ hours on. I prefer these style games 30 hours and under. At least this game appears to be shorter than Valhalla was thankfully.

What's funny is this isn't even true. The UK and Japan had relations since the 1600s and both had to learn English and Japanese to communicate.

Though relations with the Japanese came to an end in the early 1600s, that doesn't mean the English language did. But in the 1800s relations started to change and they were welcomed more, thus leading to more English language being spoken among officials in Japanese.

Either way, (some) Japanese people were definitely speaking some English in the 1700s in Japan, though mainly for relations with the UK and other European countries. It wasn't common, but it certainly happened.

I think he's referring to the majority of "japanese people" rather than a select few that specialized in english.

Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army Collector's Edition will be coming form LRG

That's it. Pretty much declaring Collector's Editions dead at this point.

nothing can be profitable any longer thanks to Amazon, and the government who has enabled it and forced everyone else to compete at incredibly higher costs. Boy is it going to be a retail wasteland in a couple of years.

Then LRG turns around, transfers all the risks to end consumers and takes all the profits they can get.

But to be fair, it's extremely hard to predict sales numbers months ahead to make the right amount of CEs. So I can understand some smaller publishers would take the easy way out for projects that they don't have a lot of confidence in. I bet Atlus will release Persona 6 CEs themselves instead of LRG.

Yea it is looking bleak, LRG will probably be the only physical vendor by the time the Switch 2 ends as well. I would rather go all digital if publishers use LRG instead of Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.

Will pass on the CE and will most likely wait to buy the game on sale. I have owned both of the PS2 games since launch and didn't beat either. This is just the first game right, not a collection of them both?

If there is no more physical I’m out. I’m even purchase vinyls because I want physical copies of things. If I spend 60 or more on something I want more that a digital license that can be revoked at any time.

I wish this is something available to the public

Ugh.. fuck this shit. Gungho, you guys already designed all that stuff... would have paid so much money for that stuff, that it would have made LRG's overpriced CEs seem like reasonably priced CEs. Lunar and it's CEs are so closely associated, just zero clue why they didn't make a CE for this. Even if they like pulled an LRG pay now, get your items in 2 years, I would have bought in.
