[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

I have 1 Kmart within 7 miles of me from home and another one 2 miles from where I work. i stop in regularly at each one. Today I hit the one near my work and I scored the following games:

IO: I can confirm that I was wrong on Yoshi Touch & Go, it's $19 pre-sale.

Picked up a 2nd EBA and Magnetica for $13.30 each ($19 pre-sale)
 
I was able to find that Nyko Performance kit for $10.50 today. I think it probably would have been that way at the other store I checked but his price check just told him the pre-discount price (which is $15). I can't imagine it just happened to be $15 after the 30% off there. The funny thing is Kmart sells the Nyko charge station and Intercooler separately for a total of $50 (and TRU for a total of $53) :lol:.

I also wrote down some prices for some old-gen games. Nothing spectacular, but if they aren't in the OP I'll put 'em there.

Also, pretty much all of the 07 360 sports games are $19 (so $13.30 this week).
 
Going to head back to get all my stuff price-adjusted and see if there's anything worth picking up tonight. I saw some black label FFX-2's earlier this week; are those actually worth anything like the black label Kingdom Hearts are?

I also discovered something interesting that I think I've seen people mention before (but I never put it together for myself before)... I asked for a PSP Ultimate Ghosts N Goblins and found out after she took it out of the case that it had the generic UPC. So I assumed it would come up at $14.99 as it is tagged (frontlane-type pricing). It turned out to be $8.40. It looks like the generic frontlane code (just rings up as "video game" on the receipt) has been put on clearance to $12 and thus $8.40 after discount. That explains the Haunting Ground I saw tagged at $12 as well (with the generic barcode sticker - I didn't see if it was the same one though but probably). That would mean any frontlane display game with the UPC code 696055129102 is on clearance for $12 and down to $8.40 this week. Just a head's up.
 
Does anyone have an interest in the Donkey Kong GC bundles? There's one sitting at my KMart that's been there awhile, and I think it needs a good home.

Are the older Xbox Live cards in the kits (which I assume came out for the "Original Xbox" version of live) still good for the Current, "Xbox 360" version of Live?

I'd be willing to buy a couple of those "Older" kits just to stack up a couple of years Live service and trade in the headsets for $4 a pop credit at GS.

I bought one of the old live kits with PGR2 and the live arcade demo disc a couple months ago and was able to add the live months to my 360 with no problems.

a guy at slickdeals is claiming a promo at kmart where you can buy a $25 dollar gift card for $20. if true, this can come in handy for clearance buys.

Not sure what OP you've been looking at but 2 of the 3 have been on there for a while now ;). I will add the Harvest Moon game now though, thanks!

Made a bunch of updates earlier in the day also.

As for the price adjustment issue, I've had no problem with return/repurchase on several games (2 different trips). I have more to try later now that that has gone so well.

The guy behind the counter had a list of all the games that they were supposed to mark down. On it, they had CoD3 @ 13.30. I bought the two copies they had.

This is a MAJOR YMMV. I still can't figure out what was going on. They also had the gold edition listed for ~23 on the sheet.

io, you might be less one Kmart in the near future.

I had the same thing happen to me at a local kmart on sunday(clearance not ringing up w/ extra 30% off automatically). Long story short: the manager told me that location doesn't participate in weekly ads becuase it is going to be closed.

I still got my 30% off though, since the manager didn't care about the clearance merchandise;)

I just read this too...I'll have to check it out today. If you can buy a few at a time that would be insane. It would be good for bigger purchases as well as clearance games or even system purchases.

Its a 20% discount and I dont see why you cant buy more than one (just say you want them as stocking stuffers for your entire family).

You only need to buy 16 cards ($320) to get a $400 PS3 on Nov 2nd.

A $25 card for $20. That's 20% off that is effectively stackable with the 10% off coupon, and that's nothing to scoff at. I'm definitely going to check it out. If I can buy 5 $25 cards I'll do that and then attempt to use the 10% off coupon on a new DS Lite, paying for it with the cards. $129.99 - $13 = $116.99 + tax ($122.84 here or maybe $123.49 if the tax is based on $129.99.) A new black/red DS Lite for $100 plus a small amount left on the card toward a clearance game purchase? I'll take it!

EDIT: Hmm... do game consoles count as "home electronics"? If so I guess the coupon isn't suppose to work for it, but it's worth a shot anyway. Otherwise I'll buy 5 cards and get the DS plus have more left over for clearance game purchases. Probably buy a couple cheapass 360 games to flip at gamestop.
 
I just came back from kmart. The customer service desk claimed to know nothing about the alleged $25 card for $20 deal and I suspect they not only are telling the truth, but that this deal is bogus. Aside from the fact that it's too good to be true, nowhere did I find $25 denomination gift cards. The cards sold there are, as is the case at other stores, of an unspecified amount. You buy the card and put as much as you want on it. If this deal exists, it must be at some other store such as a grocery chain where they often sell cards for other stores and those are of a fixed denomination. However, I'm skeptical. Of course I'd like to be proven wrong by somebody.

Hit up Wilmington, NC a bit ago. As of 2:20pm, they had a ton of shit and no one knew about it. I enlightened the nice lady who helped me, who asked me which games to get for her sonf or x-mas.

got the following (ALL 360):
Tomb Raider Legend 4.90
Prey 4.90
Kameo non-ph 4.90 (no price difference)
Final Fantasy XI 4.90 (for my roomie).

Left alot of stuff, which I might go and get more when I get paid tommorow (including Gun for 7.00).

I only checked the 360 section, but it seems everything is still there. But, now that she knows, it might have opened the flood gates. At first, I didn't think she was gonna sell me them, but when she found out they were so cheap, she didn't care.

I did have the guy who checked me out say that it was now manditory for me to sign the back of my CC. I told him I don't and I put "Check for ID" because I'm allowed to, and he through attitude. I already had my games paid for though, so I didn't care.

I asked an employee where are the video games for the clearance, he pointed at a small section in the corner that barely had any. They had a some GBA/DS games that weren't worth getting. I looked in the glass case again and saw most of the games on the clearance list labeled at the original price.

You guys are lucky. I hate my K-Mart.

I do lots returned & rebuy today. Wow! I got back around $30 - $40 :) Also, pickup Lord of the Rings: Tactics 2 (360) $13.90 and Just Cause (360) $8.90 and Donkey Kong Country (GBA) $4.90, Castlevania Double Pack (GBA) $4.90 and Hit Man: Bloody Money (XBOX) $4.90 :)

Happy Ending ... I'll hit another Big Kmart tomorrow for Return & Rebuy (Save $6). Hope i find few more good games :)

Picked up a couple 20GB 360 Hard Drives and several PSP 2200mAh batteries, thanks for the list and the 10% coupon!

By the way, GameFly is giving $16.10 towards membership fees ONLY (not towards game purchases) for Tourist Trophy, if you use their "Trade-In" program, up to three of any game can be traded. I haven't checked other games for their trade-in values, but this is like getting a $10 discount on fees :).

Just out of curiosity How much was the PSP battery? I grabbed one at $20 a week or two ago...with the 10% off coupon. It's probably about $13 ish right?

Anyone know if the official PS2 remote is clearanced?
 
if I was able to return/rebuy I probably would have nearly 150 worth of extrmoney returned to me. unfortunately all the kmarts wouldn't let me do it :(
