[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

Mario Strikers has been $29.99 at mine forever. They have XD too, but I never bothered to check the price.

I think that she had a mouth in the full sized, but due to 100x100 pixels for an avatar or whatever it is, well, the mouth isnt that visable anymore, just her eyes, looking....taunting ;)

Anyways, back to the topic, my Kmart has been pretty dry, not much restocking on games, and though some old 12 month kits poped up, I think they were just in the back.

I went by my Kmart yesterday and on the counter they had about 15 Wavebird w/Metroid Prime for $20 each and 6-7 w/o the game for $18. I guess if you factor in the 30% they come out at $14 with game and $12.60 without.

Original Metroid Prime there is only $2 before the discount anyways. At mine we still have a copy out back in the stock room that I haven't bothered to take out of there yet

WHAT!?!? I'd be all over that! We need some confirmation of this STAT - it would be the best deal ever at Kmart as far as I'm concerned. (Yeah, I know a GotY edition is coming, but with all the cheap MS points I've gotten I can just download the extras on top of a $15 core game, no problem).

I was in a Kmart for the first time in a long time. Had I know about this I would have checked, but I have a feeling it is a one store kind of thing.

I wish mine would pull out 12-month kits from the back. What sucks is they have 3-month kits, which are just as old as those 12-month ones, and they still ring up $29.99. I saw the Nyko accessory thing too, but still thought it was overpriced at $10.xx. I would only need the batteries and I can get them with GC credit if needed (I already have 2).

I did pick up the following:

I didn't know the faceplate came with a free VP theme download. I may use the theme and not do much with the faceplate (I have an Elite and it seems wrong to mar that nice black facade).

Advent Rising was the only cheap clearance game I saw. The entire lower portion of the game case used to be filled with games but they are all gone. A few (including Advent Rising) were on the fontlane game rack (where all the re-stickered $9.99 stuff is). I have no idea what they did with all the older games. What was worse was that a whole new crew of people was working there and they were even more clueless than the last group. Fun times... I may have to go back and check for Oblivion. And I forgot about that remote thing everyone has been talking about.

Anyway, I'll add the stuff I got to the OP. If anyone has UPC's for other clearance stuff, put 'em in here and I'll add them. I will probably try to make it to the "good" Kmart before Saturday.

Does anyone know if the Sony PSP batteries are on clearance? I know one kind was a while ago, but these are, I think, the higher powered ones. I saw them right at the end after I had the guy price check 2 sets of things (which was a painful procedure) and my family wanted to get out of there.

Sometimes the Wavebird won't come out free, so they'll have to penny it. If the WB was pennied, it'll come up as a seperate item on the receipt. Just later return only Metroid. You'll have successfully done what I did about a year ago.
 
PSP Batterys are on clearance...bought one the other day. Its the official Sony one (not sure there is another) and it came out to $22.40 with the extra 30% off. I'm not even sure if that is a great deal but I bought it anyway cause I know I'll be using it in a few days actually.

Is it the 2200 mA one? I think that was what I saw. Yeah, $22 isn't so great - I was hoping for $5 or less ;). It wasn't marked at all.

Anyway, Oblivion - everyone who goes to Kmart tomorrow needs to check that out... I'm not hopeful as $14.99 is not clearance pricing, but who knows...

I got Hulk in Atl, Ga. Bought it for $39 and was on the virge of just returning when I tried a different K-Mart and return desk lady went in her computer and refunded me $35. So Yipiee Kay Yay

A week ago I went to K-Mart and had them scan Oblivion - $59.99, so as of a week ago, that is the price. Also, can anyone tell me, is Perfect Dark Zero worth $16.80. I remember hearing bad stuff when it first came out, but I was wondering if it was worth the price. IO, you can also peg the Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Island, and Point Blank for DS all as confirmed, I got thoes prices last week as well.

It is worth the 16 bucks, plus there are still a number of people that play it online. It is no Gears, but it is fun!
 
Hopefully Disgaea 2 sees one more drop in the next month or so, I'll pick it up then before it can't be found anywhere.

I'm also interested in the price drop for Baten Kaitos Origins. Although, the original Baten Kaitos ended up dropping down to $5 or less in some places before being completely clearanced out, so my CAG-sense tells me to wait a little while yet.

I just grabbed one of the gamer remotes at my local k-mart for $3.50 +tax. Seems really nice, especially for $4. It won't replace my Harmony but I'll definitely find a use for it somewhere.
 
I returned Warioware Twisted today. I saw 2 of those remotes but I passed on them; I don't need 'em, only use my TV for gaming anyways. I was planning on buying Rogue Galaxy but I passed too. I decided 20 bucks is a little too much for a game I know I won't play right now and can grab later.

There were some stores that had oblivion at 59.99 last week, while others had it for 29.99 . My guess is that the price has gone down only in those stores that already had the markdown.

Even though I don't really NEED another controller at this point, I'd definitely pick up one of those wireless ones. Too bad it's not the Logitech one for Xbox for that price....
 
Checked a Big K yesterday and found no racing wheel:drool: . I've never seen much of accessories at any K around here.

I can verify one game from the OP:

And a possible drop on another:

:xbox: Gauntlet Seven Sorrows 12 (from 14)

SSX had a clearance tag on it, but Gauntlet had no tag on it. The clearance games were mixed in with the frontlane games on a frontlane endcap. I noticed that a couple of 14.99 frontlane games had KMart clearance 11.99 price tags on top of the frontlane white tags. Perhaps someone got trigger happy with the clearance gun and ignored the frontlane status? Still, Gauntlet's UPC scan rang 12 in the system so I presume it had a slight drop.
 
green bay wisconsin. Just picked up Chromehounds at kmart for 10.50 and also the nyko chargestation+cooler for that same price. Not going to use the cooler, but for now the chargestation rocks.

Went to my local K-Mart - was pretty much slim picking on the video game deals, but picked up the following:

Table Tennis (360) - $10.50
Viva Pinata faceplate - $1.70
Nyko controller stands (360) ~ $.5.40 (receipt not in front of me)

I made hella scores on the rest of the store though; I'm a little rough around the butt that I didn't get that copy of Prey that I saw there for over a month ($20 was not worth it to me; I wasn't amazed by the game when it came out; though I'm sure I'll be even more underwhelmed by table tennis).

I forgot to see if they had the wireless wheel, even if they did have 'em for $70 it is a bit high for my blood. I saw oblivion, but it was behind glass and marked for $59.99 - I already have the game and I had a lot of store to look around so I'll check on it some other time. They had ridiculously low prices on that pseudo-paintball game setup. Blow up barriers, capture the flag sets, etc for 90%+ off - gotta read more on this before I put down the cash.
