Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

it does indeed fit, and the sound is a lot better than the built in speaker on the phone........but yeah, it's too bad it doesn't charge. still, you can get a lot of hours of music out of a full charge before you'd have to worry about the phone dying.

Like others have said, $50 still. Most likely will be gone before it goes down a decent amount ether, since of all the sears around me, I only know of a single copy of it.

might hit up the sears and target at the mall in around a hour in fort wayne if i do i hopefully post the resuts around 10 am

Dynasty Warriors Gundam (not my type of game though)
Gears of War (think it was 19.99)

No I'm not hording, the multiple copies are so my friends and I could have the same games.

My local Sears is horrible. They have alot of the clearance stuff listed here for full price. Even Warhawk was either 49.99 or 59.99.

That game was on clearance about a year ago. I'm guessing it's out of the system by now.

i found a copy 2 days ago. stupid electronic manager would not sell it to me. She scanned the game and said she couldn't sell them. she frickin took all the clearance games that she just scan to the back and rushed to the back room liking like a total moron. Anyways i called corp about her refusing to sell clearance games on the floor. I just got a call from the store manager today and he apologized for the situation and claim that it has been zeroed out and shipped back to microsoft. He said he would have sold it to me if it was still there, if it wasn't shipped back already. Which i knew is completely bull. I just need some sort of proof that it hasn't been zeroed then I can take escalate this complaint.

If you use the scanner and it says something like: Info not available right now, please try later ... does that usually mean it's out of the system? I scanned a DW G for PS3 this weekend and it came up that on the scanner, other games scanned fine. I was surprised that DWGPS3 went out of the system so quick. The price marked on it was, of course, $60.

Sometimes when I scan an item, the screen will just display the "please scan your item" message (or whatever it is), and act like it's "thinking" about the price. Other times it will display the price immediately after scanning the item.

Could just be a problem with the wiring or the server. You could take your problematic items to the cashier to be sure.
 
I monitor the Clearance bin weekly at a Sears near work. It paid off today!
Scored - Armored Core 4 (360) and Eternal Sonata (360) for $4.96 each!

I remember scanning the UPC of the Halo 3 LE, and it wasn't in the system.

I don't recall what the actual scanner screen said, but that might have been it.

Other items scanned fine on that scanner, just the one DWG. I'll go tomorrow and get the cashier to check to see if it's truly out of the system.
 
Man I got someone to give me a ride to the nearest Sears and they had like NO games at all. Time to try the one at New Port Mall in Jersey City, NJ. Any NJ CAGs go to that one yet? I don't want to take a Light Rail Train for nothing.

I'll probably go either way since that mall has a few GS and FYE, but I would like to know if I shouldn't get my hopes up at sears.

Does anyone have an extra Dynasty Warriors Gundam for 360 or PS3 they would want to trade or sell me? I got a few games from Sears, but they didnt have that one...the only one I was really wanting. PM me if you got an extra please!

Grand total came to about $230. receipt available upon request. FF V was actually priced at $14.97 but i got it anyway. everything else in here was priced similar to the clearance list. they had a copy of eternal sonata but it was opened and the case, manual and cover art were torn. so no go there. also had a few copies of mercury meltdown but were priced at $14.99. and yes, that is a sealed copy of Tetris DS. that will stay sealed and go in my PC. as will the black labled kingdom hearts 2 and all final fantasy games. everything else gets opened, traded or fleebayed.

That happened to me with Zoo Keeper. Only one of the games had the holiday clearance UPC sticker, but the manager just gave the rest to me for the same price. I gave them to all my friends :)

What's your location? I also nailed a copy of Tetris DS but it rang up at $29.99. My eyeballs almost exploded when I saw it.

Sears was the same store that had DDR Mario Mixes months after other stores were out of stock. Apparently (shockingly ;) ) not many people buy video games at Sears. Of course, this may be changing as this thread has exploded recently.

However, the amount of hoarding going on is ridiculous. Seriously, that's not the point of this thread. Or this site, for that matter. Eventually what's going to happen is that people will report deals less and less because people keep hoarding games.

The reason this thread has exploded is because it was nearly impossible to find games on clearance before. It appears as if Sears has really hammered out their issues.

I don't know if it is any easier to find clearance games at all Sears. My Sears is a total disaster. I bought a Singstar when they were 9.97 (2 or 3 months ago?) and it was tagged 59.99. That empty peg is still there, marked 59.99. None of the games at this one are marked right, and one has to wander the electronics to find where they stash all their clearance games. This isn't even the worst Sears in my area, just the one closest to me
 
Oh and for those wondering, Elder Scrolls (PS3) scanned at 19.99 (marked 29.99) and the GOTY version was 24.99. So no clearance yet on those (at least at this Sears), I know there were some people wondering about this yesterday

Stopped by again tonight hoping for a 5$ pokemon game no luck they were all tagged 14.97 with a Feb tag.

Clothing actually went UP in price this week, for those that care. Wait till it gets cheaper before you buy, I will try to keep you guys updated on which direction clothing prices are going in.
