Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

So I looked through the entire intranet (if you can call it that) for the division 58 markdowns. My dvd lady who usually gives me the report works this morning so I can finally find out where that dang report is hiding


also about the commission---they update the commission reports every thursday then go live that sunday so you get an idea what goes down and up. Lots when down this last sunday but the Vizio 50 went up

Strange they would think 80% off is a huge discount when that PSP game had to be 90+% off at their own store.

I also found out today that Midway Arcade Treasures 1 on xbox is also .97. I got one of the same employees from yesterday and they thought I was trying to scam them or something (scanned it several times, inputted upc codes several times).
 
OK I tried about 3 different BB and 3 CC's today and no luck with a price match for the Harmony Remote. A Best Buy told me if I had a receipt with a date within 7 days they would honor it.

Can anyone help me out with a scan of a receipt within 7 days of today?

Thanks. I really want to get this remote at that amazing price.

Thanks Hush, I tried calling the Spotsy mall location and they are a bunch of dunces. My dad lives in Sterling so I was going to have him drive down there to pick one up but they don't know that logitech makes one for the 360. "Uhhh we have harmony's but none that will work for a 360". Anyways I will try and use this receipt tonight when I get home from the mountains.
 
It's not showing up in their inventory and I didn't see it on the floor when I was there yesterday so tell your dad not to waste a trip. The CC I was at yesterday was calling Sears to confirm that they had it in stock and I was ready to get rejected, but Sears came through for me by not answering the call. By then the girl just wanted to get me outta there so she matched it. Now we've got a recent CC receipt to work with! Good luck guys.

You guys are posting these Mario DDR finds just to mess with me aren't you? Just when I give up on finding them, somebody posts that they didn't just find one but usually two or three of these litttle gems. Now I must start the hunt again. Congrats on the find.

There's no advertising of ANY prices in this thread - they're all markdowns directly in Sears system that's usually not even marked on merchandise!

My Sears store actually had little price markers on the electronics case showing some of the clearance prices. They had the Harmony Remote, Eragon, EBA, and a couple others "advertised" I was shocked they had those signs up and even more shocked that I saw most of those items in stock sitting in the case.
 
Well no dice at CC with the receipt. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. They even called the Frederickburg store to verify the price and all. I got a real douchebag of a manager too. Oh well. Guess I'll wait until I get some reward zone certs and buy it at BB.

Got two Harmony remotes last night at Sears in Toms River,NJ.

Picked up a Xbox 360 HD component cable for $5.97. It was marked at $20, but rang up $5.97.

I'm a little jealous of the guys being able to pick up DDR mario mix. That's a really nice find. I got the box and dance pad from a garage sale, but sadly no game.

GH and non-GH games generally have the same UPC codes, so they should be the same price.

I have seen some at the Sears up in the mountain there (Viewmont Mall) months ago. Wouldn't be suprised if they're still there.
 
Just got back from sears and picked up xbox live arcade unplugged for $4.21 with tax yesterday and today i picked up 3 xbox live 12 month premuim gold packs for $21 and some change. Does anyone no if i can still use the $20 dollar rebate off one game that came with them?
 
Nice find on the 12 month gold packs, everytime I go to my sears to check clearence they dont even have the ones for $49.99. and there is no way im spending that much to play live.

I've been looking everything for ACX less than normal price and this WAAAAAAY beats normal price.

That's funny. Donkey Kong Country 3 rang up out of system so he offered to sell it to me for a buck. They also had a Metroid Gamecube bundle for 99.99

i saw this today too and they had a bunch. too bad.

i picked up Street Fighter Anniversary for the Xbox today for $9.97. it was part of the front lane games that are $14.99 but rang up at that price. pretty good.

I picked that up last week myself at Sears, and it rang $7.97...then again, the difference doesn't surprise me, cause that same sears is still selling the DK Bongos for $29.99...aren't the inconsistencies grand at these stores?
 
Anyone spot any Live cards in the SF bay area? My 1 month of Live for free is going to run out soon. I tried the Sears and Kmart locally to no avail. Or does anyone know where to get a Live card for cheap?

yeah it really sucks when that happens. but i think its more of a district/region decision to put games on certain prices. i worked retail for 3 years and this is how the company i worked for did their markdowns.
