I've been to five Sears and all but one had :ps3: Fallout 3 GOTY at $19.97 (though only one actually had a copy). All the Sears had :360: Fallout 3 GOTY at $59.99.

Can confirm :ps3: Ninja Gaiden 2 for $19.97 but only saw one copy.

Some more clearance tags I saw today (they may be old prices since I lost track of the Sears cycle):
:wii: Pikmin $2.97
:360: Lips $4.97

And a bunch of sports games at $2.97, including:
:ps3: and :360: NCAA Football 09
:ps3: FIFA Soccer 09
:ps3: NBA Live 09
:ps3: NASCAR 09
:ps3: NBA 09

Oddly, 08 sports titles were clearanced but at higher prices ($14.97, etc.)

I picked up Hot Shots Golf for 4.97! Nothing better than having the clerk's eyes pop out of her head and call the manager when a game rings up for $55 less than what it is tagged at. :lol:

I did confirm Lego RB, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, & Dirt 2 for PS3 @ 19.xx. Has anyone confirmed Dirt 2 for 360 @ 19.xx?

Sad that Fallout 3 GotY for 360 isn't clearanced. Guess that cancels a Sears run after work for me.

Not as good as $55 less, but when I finally found a Fallout for $19.97, the guy scanned it twice because he couldn't believe the price.

I recommend everyone scan stuff marked 14.97 cause a few things are ringing up 2.97

The copy I picked up had a FEB clearance tag marked at $29.97
 
contemplating whether or not I should keep demon blades. Bought it since it was $20 but I was hoping for Fallout 3 GOTY 360. I also forgot to look for Metroid... damn it!

Thanks for the info on Hot Shots! Damn, I would love to pick up Fallout 3 for the 360. Haven't played any of the expansions. Hopefully they clearance that at some point.

The fallout on clearance is the GOTY edition which includes the expansion packs.

I picked up 1 hotshots golf ps3.
BUT.....I got 2 - Singstar vol. 2 bundles (includes 2 mics) PS3 $2.97!
One was priced 14.97 the other 49.99 so I scanned one just to make sure it was 14.97(the price I was willing to pay for it). It scanned 2.97! Then the cashier told me that they had a metroid prime trilogy hidden behind other games in a locked case and that it was out of print...lol. Hopefully it will still be there when it drops again.
 
Managed to find the PS3 version of Fallout 3 GOTY at my local Sears for $19.xx. Had the guy scan the 360 version and it was still full price :cry:. Hopefully I can find someone in the trade part here willing to do an even trade PS3 for 360.

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows (360) - was marked $9.97, rang up as $2.97! woo!
Wet (PS3) - $19.97
Dirt 2 (PS3) - $19.97
Dead Space Extraction (Wii) - was marked $19.97, rang up as $14.97!
 
Metroid Prime Trilogy rang up on clearance for 19.97 at the Schaumburg, IL Sears just now for me. Last one on the shelf, just a heads up for you guys. Also picked up Lego Batman for PS3 for 5.97 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for 19.97. So MPT for 19.97 is live if you can find it or if you wanna try a return and rebuy. They also had 4 copies of Marcel Ultimate Alliance 2 for PS3, rang up for 19.97 but I had no interest in it if anyone wants one. Most of these games were still marked on the shelf at full price so good luck CAGer's!
 
I got a price adjustment from a manager for my copy of Fallout 3 GOTY for PS3 and I picked up a copy of Hot Shots Golf for PS3 as well.

Thanks to my friend lude for pointing out the other remaining HSG: OOB at our closer Sears.
 
At one I went to, their staff doesn't markdown any video games, so I can't tell if things are on clearance. Some of them have that lovely pink sticker, which has been partially covered up by a new white sticker. And the prices are pretty high or original msrp. I'm tempted to wait till another drop then ask for a price check, or should I bite right now?

Those are the best kind of stores cause games sit around long enough to get to 5.97, 2.97, and even 1.97 possibly. You should print up UPCs and check at those self serve scanners. That way you won't stir up too much attention. I think I scored too many unbelievable deals last year that the employees now monitor price drops and are more in the "know". Also my local store moved the clearance bin to the main aisle between appliances and electronics instead of a dark corner where it used to be. Now everyone who goes to see TVs/electronics or appliances have to walk by these clearance games. There are definitely way less super cheap games than what was around last summer. The only saving grace is a waist high locked display case that is stacked two rows deep in that said corner...stuff 29.00 and above I was told.. You gotta get on your hands and knees to see what is behind the first row, and still not everything is visible...like the MPT sitting back there..lol.

I was gonna go to Sears today, but I ended up going to Walmart & finding 3 SOCOM bluetooth bundles for $19.96 each. Man was I happy to find them! LOL
 
Picked up last copy of Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma for $20 at my sears.
Nothing else was available. They had like 5+ Fallout 3's and none of them were the GoTY edition.

Had them Price Scan M:UA2 for 360 and it was $39.xx.

Funny thing is, my receipt for it doesn't show a sku for F3: GOTY. It just shows 58 96498.

However the HSG:OOB I also picked up did have it: 711719811527. Hope this helps.

Strange...I went to my local sears where last week I checked and they had nothing...BUT this time they magically had a couple of Madworlds and a Fallout 3 GOTY behind all the regular Fallouts. So I picked up Fallout GOTY, Madworld, and then also Hot shots golf OOB. I just dont understand where these games came from...were they in the back and if so why...?

I hit up the other Sears in my area last night(where I got my original copy of Fallout 3 GOTY last month)and surprisingly the other copy was still there. I snagged that and another copy of Hot Shots Golf: Out Of Bounds. Those were really the only two clearance titles that I wanted to grab spares of, but they still had copies of Dirt 2, NGS2 and many of the other current $19.97 games.

They also had 2-8 copies of the Red Bull DS game, but they were still marked $9.97(but rang up $2.97)and I think they may have had some of the other portable clearance titles as well. Since I have neither a PSP or a DS I rarely pay attention to those though.

They also still have the 360 HD-DVD drive, but now it's sitting in a case with clearance cameras and other electronics, many of which had stickers on them denoting they came up as 'zero value' and to 'return to some such place'.

I didn't really note any of the items that were marked as such.

Wow, you are the King of the Flippers lol. What is worse is that you will have to make 2 trips to Gamestops since they won't let you trade in 2 at the same time.

I'm surprised that game didn't drop to $2.97 anyway since Pikmin did.
 
I think those SOCOM bundles @ Walmart set my wallet back a bit too far to jump on this Sears clearance. But hey I'm not complaining! LOL

I, too, got Hot Shots Golf. Seems like this and the previous drop were less ymmv than in the past, sounds like most people got what they wanted.
