Oink! and other Private Torrent Sites

What are the best torrent sites? I currently am a member of Demonoid, and I know OiNK is supposed to be very good but are there any sites that are better?
 
Demonoid has a little of everything. OiNK is music.

I've read about that and it's been making the rounds on the sites, but admins are getting just as crafty and smart and have been banning the client and users who use it.

hehehe, Im testng it right now to the extreme on my demonoid account since I read that they really dont ban anybody and since most the stuff on that site I can get from a free torrent site anyways. I have it set for every 1MB I upload, it reports I uploaded 12.4GB :) I did it for 3mb I think, so tomorrow morning my stats with have a 37.2GB increase in total uploaded. We shall see what happens...

Starting to get worried about my oink account. I for the life of me cant become "clever". I've been reading that a lot of people that switch to Azureus (from uTorrent) have success, so that might be my only option although I dont really want to do that because Azureus and multiple windows of Firefox running on my comp at the same time isnt a good thing.

Have you turned off Windows Firewall? What antivirus are you using?

I had to turn PC-Cillin to "home network" under personal firewall profile to become clever.
 
Yes. And I'm using Active Virus Shield. It's weird cause I dont have a problem with any other sites. Stuff I dl off of demonoid dls at 400kb/s+ and uploads at 50kbs/s and stuff I dl from Oink dls at 400kb/s+ but just wont upload.

Are you sure there are leechers? Have you tried leaving it on for periods of time and coming back to see how much has upped?
 
Oink has pretty much killed the mix cd. And not being able to up cd-packs because of no track list is fucking dumb. I've been downloading d'n'b packs but they have been pulling them because they want people to write down a complete track list on each disc which say 6 discs at around 75 minutes a peice is fucking insane. There is no way to be able to do that and what about a dj making up a song during the set?

I'm glad I got to Power User status but they seem to be handicapping people who love mix albums with the single tracks bullshit. On my Zen, I get small gaps on a mix album if they are broken down to single tracks and it completly kills the experiance for me.

There are other sites out there other than oink you know (though Oink is the best). Try out Libble. They're not bad and they have mixes up there and stuff. Great on the indie end though. They're are tons of mix trackers like themixingbowl, but they all need invites.

I know there are others out there but the main reason I use Oink for mix cds is the fact that I am pretty much guarenteed that its sound quality is quite high. I've checked out Liddle a few months ago but it doesn't have anything I wanted. A friend is on The Mixing Bowl but I've never gotten around to signing up, guess I should actually do that then.

I used to use libble but got banned for not seeding enough I guess. Plus they required me to use azerus and I perfered bit comet.

I check demenoid and btmusic at leat once a day.

There's a ton of game soundtracks on there, but I haven't had a chance to check them out yet. They're probably just the straight in-game music though.

I'd like an oink invite. All I have now is demonoid. I gave out my revolution ones to friends, but if I get more I'd offer one of those as well.

I am in the same boat. I had no idea they had an open registration for 3 days that just ended. I'll have to keep checking the site every few days. Or someone could show some love and hook me up with an invite, even though I also have nothing to give in return.
 
I can spare a couple Demonoid invites, but you'll have to prove you're trustworthy, like have a high ratio on another respectable site.
 
I've got a few Oink invites that I'd like to trade for invites to good private torrent sites that specialize in Tv shows , preferably somewhere that has Tv shows in HD. Also I'm not interested in Demonoid at all.
 
I still have OiNK and TorrentLeech and Demonoid. Nothing I'm really "looking" for anything, just tell me what you got. You may even get it free.
