Thanks everybody for the help in my decision making.  Looks like I'll be picking up Bound by Flame hopefully it won't suck.  At least Bruticis will share in my pain if it's horrible.

I can understand Battlepillars being a grind since its a mobile port, and most mobile games make their money by offering IAP that let you circumvent that grind. But on Steam there are no IAP and so you have to grind the old fashioned way, which kind of pads out the game longer than it needs to be. Having said all that, I feel like Battlepillars is one of the better mobile ports to come to Steam.

Finally playing Kung Fu Strike for rewards....not a bad game at all, and I will try to earn the beat 24 levels (think it's a pretty much beat the game). I doubt I will get the 3 S ranks cause the game is decently hard. I was also trying to for Slip rewards but this was giving me a major headache.....not a very good game and whoever thought putting bullet hell shooter bosses at the end should be shot in the leg or something. That makes the game broken for me since I can barely see all the bullets and have no way to switch fast enough. Ruined the game for me.

Eh, figure it's a long shot, but:

I'm planning to pick up Bully from this sale.  If anybody else wants any Rockstar titles that together with Bully would put us over $10 so we could use the 20% off voucher, let me know.  That is, if you don't mind paying with Paypal instead of PF credits.

Shufflepuck Cantina... I would have beaten the final boss but I can't stand the horrible freemium grind to unlock the final boss. While it doesn't live up to Shuflepuck Cafe in gameplay (in Cafe all the opponents had different styles of play, in Cantina they all play the same normally and just their special shot to stand apart.) I'd like Cantina more if it wasn't structured about freemium crap.

I could not agree more. It's a neat little game absolutely ruined by an unnecessary grind.

Since I had Space Marine installed on my computer, I tried to see if any of the achievements are worth doing, and it looks like you can't even get this anymore? Either Playfire dun goofed or it's another elaborate ploy to nail them dirty SAM users.

You'll probably have about as much luck as I'm having finding people to go in on the Sega Get Loaded bundle with me. :wall:

I wish I had Darksiders 2 for this Head2Head, but it's not even on sale anywhere besides GG for 50% off. At least Space Marine was on sale last weekend.

Why you didn't buy when in March Amazon has 2 Rockstars Sale and the bundle had 4 games for 6.99? Why you are not true CAG?

You are shitting me. I just accidentally installed, played, and uninstalled Darksiders 2 this week (I somehow misread Dark Souls 2 rewards to be for Darksiders 2). :oldman:

I'd join your group buy, if you didn't reserve the game I want from it ;)
Yeah, I'm sorry. I figured there are still some deals in there though (Shogun 2, Sonic Racing, Sonic Generations)... after those 3, I'd only need 3 more, and I'd probably bite the bullet and pay for both Total War games myself if it came down to it.

He didn't he even quote me... and I was around for that March deal! I just didn't have the budget for the Rockstar games at the time because legal fees.

Yeah, no bites, but I figured it was worth a shot. Since I'm picking it up with credit anyway 20% off $3.74 isn't such a big deal.

Cause I already have every other Rockstar game multiple times.

FTFY, but pretty much.
Ouch, sorry to hear that.

Ugg I have a steam 20 dollar gift card and those old Star Wars games are tempting me (As well as buying more Simpsons Legos Mini figs...man these are awesome....I don't even like Simpsons much anymore but these are cool albeit a bit expensive). Will probably pick up all the Dark forces type games and earn a cool  £1.00. I loved the old Dark Forces game as well as the original Jedi Knight game. Played both but never beat the rest. I never tire of old school FPS, though the controls take some getting used to again.

If you want to play KotOR II, TSLRCM is what you want. For KotOR 1 try looking at deadlystream.com and make sure the mods are compatible with each other.

Wow I surprised myself I actually did all the Croixleur Sigma Playfire Achievements! That was a fun game and all I really haven't done is beat the game with the 2nd girl in ten minutes without dying. I'm not as good as her as I am the first girl. With an Xbox 360 pad the game controls very well and is a good game for short burts or to get one done with your backlog as you can beat the game in about less than 10 mintues. For anyone doing the achievements remember a streak is made by collecting the little symbols as people die, and the bosses give more, I didn't know and thought I had to kill everyone and for everyone I killed I got 1 streak. Before you know it 250 is an easy one to get to!

Bummed that GMG doesn't sell SW games. I'd pick up Force Unleashed and KOTOR 1 + 2 with my free monies, if they did.
Would be nice if GMG had all them SW games.

I have SW:TFU 1 + 2 on Steam; and KOTOR 1 + 2 from Retail; Battlefront 1 + 2 all from Retail.

I could go for Dark Forces games, Jedi Outcast, and Jedi Knight - since for some damn reason, I'm missing all of those period.

FTFY That what you meant Lord MysterDRM

For those of you who don't already have Cargo Commander it's currently 85% off on steam ($1.49)

It has 4 playfire rewards until may 7th (all seem pretty easy):

Cargo Commander - play for the first time - £0.10

Cargo Commander - unlock Eradicator - £0.10

Cargo Commander - unlock Curse Quota Exceeded - £0.25

Cargo Commander - unlock World's Strongest Dad - £0.50

Also has trading cards.

Do you think Bully has aged well? Is the gameplay fun, or is the main draw the music and story?
Yes, yes, and all of the above.

Bully has "aged" far better than the GTA games from the same era. It's not going to knock your socks off with graphics, but the more compact world still looks nice, and the mechanics (riding bicycles, throwing eggs, pinching girls in inappropriate locations) are solid enough to still be quite fun.

I'd join your group buy, if you didn't reserve the game I want from it ;)
I actually managed to fill the bundle by crossposting between here and Steam Groupbuys. Got Dreamcast Collection, Colonial Marines + Season Pass, AvP Collection for $9, not bad at all. Just waiting for sales on DLC for the games from the Sega Humble, and another sale on the Sonic pack and my Sega collection will be complete.

Ouch, sorry to hear that.
It's okay. The whole thing is bittersweet (but mostly stressful as fuck). At least it was someone I'd been with for a number of years as opposed to some random skank. It's just yet another curveball life is throwing at me.

They could not have had better timing. $4-5ish in credit on 14 games I got at $1.15 each?? Yes please.

fuck star wars
Even if you don't like Star Wars, that's a great rewards promo.

I probably have played like once in 1990s :D
Most recent SW game I've played is Battlefront 2 or KotoR1, whichever one came first. But I've played a lot of the older ones too. Ever play X-Wing or Tie Fighter? I'd love to have them on Steam even though I have them retail.

I played the Scholarship Edition for the first time last year and it's alright. Holds up well enough, I suppose. A sequel is in the works at least, so I suppose it doesn't matter too much.
