A monkey could curate a better bundle than Poopees. I could pull up six random games from Steam's Weeklong Sales and they'd be better than Poopees.

Gala has been alright. With Royale gone, they've kind of combined the pool and taken the better games. For me, Gala usually features games of acceptable quality, with personal desirability being hit or miss. Bundlestars generally has higher desirability, but way more repeats. Humble has had a decent year thanks, in large part, to the Monthlies which generally feature one or two games from my wishlist.

I'm not bashing Gala. I just don't often see games there that I actually want to play. It isn't the hall of shame that is Poopees, mind you, but I'm looking for games to **gasp** play! Gala is largely a +1 bundler for me, and that doesn't necessarily get me as excited these days. As a +1 site, they're pretty solid.

Fair enough, though I'll maintain that Gala is, as a +1 bundler, doing better this year than they have in awhile.

And Groupees can only run bundles with games that are willing to be in a Groupees bundle. Take those six random games and on average, I'd guess, you'd have zero that would return Groupees' call.

 
That's a pretty terrible bundle. Lots of repeats, with those AoF games that everyone and their doctor's uncle's mechanic's goldfish has from the 2 million Steam key giveaways on gleam.

Yeah just bundling all those MMORPGs together is likely bad. Really most of that other than Goosebumps looks not great.....It will be a +1 paradise other than those MMORPGs.....but yeah I got too many games as it is, and most of those +1s don't have cards.

That's a terrible bundle. Not even HH consideration on my end since it would only be a +2 for Pepe and Mahjong.

IG at this is good for cherry picking one or two decent games cheap from tremor after they do a hh and tremor buys 800 kajillion copies on the cheap that are actually more than enough for the dirty foreigners who get first pick at 3am our time and then we wake up and unlike Bumdlesharts and Poopees there's actually some sloppy seconds left for us and they aren't at ridiculous 500 coins and up prices.

This bundle is not really good, but I have been averaging 2 or so bundles a week. Not bad at all really and generally the games are good or decent.

I was specifically responding to nitrosmob's use of "good or decent." Even from the start, Indiegala has never had too many good games. Lots of decent ones. Some bad ones. Not too many good ones.

Do you really think Indiegala is at a low point these days? I don't think it's a particularly risible statement to say that Indiegala is at about where it mostly always has been.

edit: If it helps I'll make sure to actually comment on the Groupees thread the next time Miller puts out a bundle.

There were and are worse than Groupees, though. Isn't that bundle of 40 Digital Homicide greenlight games for $1 still running?

 
But that's more of a Yeah we know this is a bundle of shit but it's cheap for all you +1 ocd freaks, what of it? sort of thing than a We're this gr8 site with a gr8 community and a lawyer CEO putting out bundles of joy for everyone kind of thing.

Digital Homicide knows they're trash and they're not even trying to bullshit or do some mystery crap or make a chat room or whatever. You want to increase your Steam count because you're not going to play your games anyway but just collect them? Well here ya go!

Sure, but that gets back to the whole ups and downs thing for bundle sites. Other sites can say they are better than Groupees, sure, but I'd also say Indiegala and Humble can say they are better now than they were themselves a year or so back. Groupees obviously can't say that.

Nah, ended the 9th. I thought about buying it since card money would eventually pay for it anyway but I have zero DH games in my library and chose to keep it that way.

I followed a link to it thinking it was some legit thing. I started looking at the games, and the similarities between so many of the games. It was only then that I thought to check on the identity of the publisher. I mean, I'm always looking for +1s, but...

But does it really matter for a +1? I only skip those DH bundles because I know their shit will end up on gleam for free at some point.

 
Eh they just irritated me with some of their antics so I have been ignoring their games even when free.  I'll probably stop caring at some point and get the games free and then let them have their one penny or whatever from the stupid cards.   But for now I'll continue to stand on my lawn and scream at the damn kids ruining Steam.

Yeah, if you bought it in the other bundle (DIG I think?) they already got keys, but you know Groupees. They probably have to check their couch for loose change so they can pay the dev first and then get keys.

That actually is a really good bundle if you don't have all the games.  Will probably try to pick up a few from Tremor.  Blockstorm is really good for bronights. 

 
That is a surprisingly good bundle by IG standards. And I only own 2 games in the bundle.

Count me in for a copy if they do a HH.

Was blockstorm free at some point? I didn't buy the earlier IG bundle it was in but I have it. Also possible I grabbed it from a keydrop here I guess.
