[PC] The Indie Gala Thread

Stay Dead it looks like I missed out a while back to request keys for getting it in that old Bundle in a Box bundle....I have it downloaded anyway...should just try it since it looks corny as heck. Likely pass....wish some of these were bonuses for that other bundle (the one with mystery games to come) than a full fledged Monday bundle on its own.
I thought I remembered that game being in a bundle. Just went to look it up and there was a bunch of longwinded Italish posts that basically amounted to the ol 'Oh this is the DELUXE Edition', then another dude with better English told people to add him on Steam and he might get them keys but it doesn't sound like anyone actually got one?

Too much hassle. I'll Tremorbro that shit.

Anyone want to split a bundle with me? I only need Double Dragon Trilogy and Dusty Revenge. I hate giving DotEmu money, even indirectly, but they're only getting like fifteen cents out of this bundle so I can deal.
I saw your name and that Stay Dead thread. And Drabes too. You guys ever get a key for it?

I got a key, and I think Drabe did. The guy did actually send keys out, it was just a hassle cuz you had to add him as a friend.

Glad I held off on Double Dragon as it makes this bundle work well for me.

I see so much talk about Tremor -- everybody's gonna Tremorbro everything. The last time I looked at Tremor it was a giant pain in the ass to earn a few measly points ... and eventually have enough to buy a single game out of a bundle that may have, at best, a value of fifty cents. Is there some new secret loophole that makes it possible to buy all of these bundle games without spending days clicking through bullshit or exposing your PC to weird plugins?

There at least were. Probably shifts every few months. Used to be super easy through one to get like 400 points in a minute or two. Those days ended, don't think they came back.

Spoder would know all though.

I just watch a bunch of stupid videos and then occasionally download apps on my old raggedy HP Touchpad that I don't really care about.

Some of the Peanutwhatever articles about various health conditions are really easy to get points on too if you sort by lowest coins given and just go through and click through on those.

I don't download any software to my PC at all. Not even with Sandboxing or any of that mess.

Yep, it took me like two months because I kept forgetting to ask him about it, but the dude was pretty friendly and cool about it. I still wish he'd done this automatically through Desura, but it wasn't a big deal.

Yeah if you've got an android or iOS device you can get enough coins worth for 2 or 3 bundles from the very start. They add iOS stuff a lot more often so if you've got an iPhone you can probably replenish coins on a regular basis (I know Drabe does this). Video offers (when they're consistent) are an easy way to get coins too. I used to use Sandboxie a lot when you could easily get 500 coins daily from PC download offers within a couple minutes.. but I rarely use it anymore. Most PC downloads don't credit me so it's not worth the hassle.

That's another good point. Some offers tend not to credit and after a while and trying a bunch out you kind of get to know which ones are good about crediting and which ones aren't so I just stick with the more consistent ones.

Also though it's apparently YMMV, if anyone actually has offers in the Video tab hitting that at least once or twice a day can be a good source of small but steady amounts of coins.

That's why I gave up on Tremor. Those offer-for-credit-or-cash sites are already biased towards US/CA, but when the majority of the remaining offers don't credit me anyway, it's not just a waste of time and effort.

So I get an Access Denied message every time I try to visit the Indie Gala site. Anyone have this problem and know how to fix it? Or could visit the site and get me an email address to contact them?

Happy Hour is now on for the Friday 18 bundle. I have a few bundles left in my group buy if anyone wants a bundle and forgot to reserve one. ;)

Got an extra copy of Double Dragon Neon. if anyone wants it let me know. I dont want anything for it.

Maybe hamburgers but thats okay.

Armed with Wings looks okay, but none of the others look particularly interesting. No repeats for me though.
I have the first two Data Hacker games, and want the third. Armed with Wings looks good. But the others include two repeats and two soon-to-be-repeats.

Armed with Wings Rearmed is up on Tremor at 295 coins, but act fast because it`s flying off the shelves. No real point to the clicker game when there are more popular options doing the same thing, without even having to spend those Tremor coins.
