MiniDrivers is awful, no redeeming qualities at all. Gamepad support is almost nonexistent (you can use a controller but you can't manually bind much and the default gamepad controls suck). Amazingly the lack of decent gamepad controls are the least of the games problems. The graphics aren't any good, the handling is terriblly inconsistent for no reason on some tracks (seriously, even the AI tends to spin out a lot on turns, and if you barely come in contact with anyone your car has a high chance of spinning out which is unacceptable for a cart racer) EDIT: Ok, once you upgrade your car the handings not too bad, but whenever the AI comes in contact with you you still spin the fuck out. Powerups are garbage and aiming with them might be more difficult considering the game wants you to use keyboard controls.

It's a mobile port through and through, I'm not sure if this game would be any good on mobile though. I don't think there's any point to owning it other than steam cards and +1 to steam count. If you want a good F1 cart racer, grab F1 Race Stars. If you want a good isometric racer, play Little Racers Street. Both games are way better and worth your time. Don't even bother attempting to play MiniDrivers. I'm not sure what the steam reviewers were smoking, the game shouldn't have mostly positive reviews.

As for the rest of the games.. rFactor looks like it's should be a solid game, but I haven't tried it myself. Krautscape looks like it has a cool concept, but there's no singleplayer (not even bots) and no one plays the online MP so having friends is pretty much required to play it. Truck Racer, while no means good is at least playable and semi-competent compared to MiniDrivers, and might be worth playing for a couple of hours.

If you want rFactor + Krautscape and didn't buy the Killer 5 bundle (which also has rFactor), the bundle might not be bad, otherwise I'd suggest passing on it.

Oh, and thanks again to Reds303 for gifting me a MiniDrivers key so I could experience the awfulness for myself lol

I got that in MiniDrivers. Apparently once you click "rate" it automatically credits you and you don't have to actually review it.. but wtf.

rFactor is great. Because of mods. You can pretty much get any series or any type of car/track through:

It's a little dated now but there are mods which will pretty things up as well.

rFactor 2 is out but it's really expensive at this time and there are a lot less mods available.

I usually listen to MysterD's wise counsel concerning bundle purchases. But this time I'm gonna have to go my own way. For where MysterD sees a bundle worth skipping, I see a bundle that is a solid +9.

In for a HH copy.

Happy hour bundle purchases usually average out to about a buck. Which is why I'm interested.

I agree with you that it's not worth the $3 just for some +1's. But through the magic of happy hour group buys, I don't have to pay $3.

STAR-BOX was free, if you have uh.. a certain "friend". Also, Karma looks really really bad. I had to look through the cached versions of the steam versions because steam has been down for me today.
