Hoping someone can help me out. Does anyone know if the splitscreen multiplayer is working on the Xbox One disc version? I tried this game through the EA Access trial, but the splitscreen would not work. Bought the disc, but don't want to open it if the splitscreen isn't working.

if you own the game, I believe you should be able to access all functionality.
in order to access splitscreen you need to go the two story TV, that's to the right of the change character station in your base. there you can have a 2nd controller (guest or otherwise) to hit the menu button ||| and then you're split screening your way to victory.
Just note, the splitscreen player won't have access to any variants you unlocked and you both won't be able to access a lot of the online/multiplayer features. you can however play together in private or solo matches I think and set up ops.
