Just out of curiosity, how may periods are there? I would imagine a week would be a period, but how do partial weeks of a month work, like the last three days of this month?

Got my package. Wasn't expecting 2K12, didn't get 2K12. The poster is epic though! It's not super tiny like the previous Ape Escape and Motorstorm posters. It's pretty damn huge and it features all three of the cover athletes on it. I'll actually be framing this one.

The poster is absolutely massive, especially compared to the previous posters they gave us. It's exactly like the NBA 2K12 cover, but it features Jordan, Magic, and Bird together instead of just one of them.

The basketball thing sucks. It doesn't stick on any kind of surface and my basketball is already deflated.

I got mine last Saturday. I live in Bradley which is about an hour south of Chicago.

On a side note, those trade in values are brutal on the games this month. They just came out yesterday and have a $10 value on Amazon.

I got my poster (pretty nice size), Everybody Dance game & Basketball Hoop with Mini Basketball today. If you're talking about 2K12, I couldn't tell you since I wasn't chosen for the game this month either :cry:.

I'm so glad they've gone back to the no contest format.

Probably because they don't really have an average to go on. Everybody Dance is $16.20, so that isn't that bad.

I live in a suburb an hour away from Chicago and got mine yesterday around 4:00pm or so(But my brother grabbed it while I was asleep, so it was probably around 2pm)
 
What the hell!? My copy of NBA 2K12 locks up when it's trying to load the settings... I deleted everything, and I'm going to see if that fixes anything...

Apparently the game didn't take me through the online setup, and it's fine. I was going to email HouseParty asap.

I got an email about this too, but the part about meeting in person didn't interest me too much. The "earn some cash and accumulate points redeemable for gift cards" sounded kinda nice, tho.

One more important question I need one of you to answer. Does Amazon accept games that have a "NOT FOR RESALE" label where the bar code normally is? This may be a stupid question but I want to know. I guess BB would be the best place to trade such games?(without the box like it was posted here.)

Im thinking of buying the PS3 Holiday bundle and sell the 2 included games. Anyone think they will have the "NOT FOR RESALE" thing on the back? Most bundled games have that I believe and would rather sell the 2 games to save more $$$.

PS: Extra question. My bro bought Skyrim from Amazon(copy#1) but the game got delayed so he went to buy it at GS(copy#2) to play over the weekend. Then on monday he got the Amazon copy. My q is, can he go back to GS with copy #1(with receipt from copy#2) and return Amazon copy there for full credit? And by credit, I mean cash.

If all my questions could be answered, that would be wonderful. I dont like it when only 1 thing is answered as that leaves me still hanging. Appreciate the responses in advance.

Brace for shock... but I wont be rude in this answer segment.

1) Amazon does accept ALL trade ins, but its like anything else in life. IE YMMV. I traded in some Not for Resale games, but other cags posted they got rejected. The same goes for barcode slashed games. This being said I can say that BB will 100% accept them as they just dont get a fuck.

2) I have games from a Sega Saturn bundle with that. They've always been doing that I believe. All bundled games usually have these, in addition to some Collectors Editions. While it could be different... just assume it will be so.

3) Provided it has the same barcode, yes. Some games have unique ones (mostly with unique DLC like BB copies with a bonus item). If that is the case it will void the return. Skyrim lacks that stuff, so you SHOULD be fine.
 
Gamestop will accept Not For Resale copies I've traded in several in the past. I asked guy who works there apparently they are legally ok to sell used.

On HP other people were complaining about not get points for the last day. Hopefully it will update soon.
 
In regards to points showing up...doesn't this happen near the end of EVERY week? One of the reasons I just do it early in the week.

I did them yesterday, yet my points still haven't shown up. I hope it fixes itself soon :(
 
I have had the points issue in the past. There is a 50/50 chance you will get your points, and HP won't do anything about it. My advise is to start getting your points done on Monday. Hopefully you all have enough points already that you can miss a bunch and still get the games.

I received that email a while ago. I haven't been invited to do any surveys. Any extra cash would be good with me. I'd even take gift cards.

Quick question: I've just registered to the website, then I went to Playstation's party and then there was only the option to host a party... do I have to wait until 2012 to get in? or did I do something wrong?

Indeed. I thought I was just an idiot because they weren't sticking to any surface without falling shortly thereafter. I'm going to end up tacking it in.


The poster is nice though, and my sister and her friends are loving Everybody Dance so kudos to Playstation Rewards.
