All customers who pre-order this item before its February 22, 2012 release date will be automatically upgraded to the "PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Launch Bundle" at no additional charge. The "PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Launch Bundle" will include an 8GB Memory Card, AT&T DataConnect Session Pass, and Free PlayStation Network Game. When I downloaded it does say demo, there are two versions up the demo and full so maybe they fixed it already. Thats why I'm asking, I won't be able to tell until I get my Vita next week anyway.
 
A few things to post.

Firstly, the PS Vita 4 GB Memory card trades in for 5$ at gamestop (For anyone who cares).

Secondly, anyone who got on that 299.99 FEB deal from Best Buy might want to get up to their store early. Was picking up my Vita when i overheard the manager saying "I dont trust these 2 orders, refuse them service", and i asked "By chance were they the 299.99 prices?" and he replied yea.

No idea, some of the ones here are insane jerks. But one ALWAYS helps when there is an issue, so i try my damn hardest to get him when the others screw up.

Either way, not sure if its universal. But i kinda had a feeling it might raise a red flag for people getting a brand new console for 50$ off.
 
I was wondering where all the posts were about people getting their FEB but then remembered this is CAG so maybe not many CAGs would be doing something like buying a $350 FEB of a handheld.

Or maybe this thing is just going to sell like shit and nobody cares about it.

Exactly what I said. I'm basically wondering if this thing is going to succeed or what peoples thoughts are if they got theirs. Also curious if it's selling out anywhere or if there's plenty available.

Personally I think it'll do just fine just like the 3DS once there's a $50 or so price drop and the next big game releases for it.

I'm tempted to go get one now even though I'm getting mine from...elsewhere in a couple weeks.

Really? I've always had good luck with Hori. I think the Sony protector just covers the screen, whereas the Hori covers the entire front of the Vita.
 
I dont really need one for my whole front, i just like being safe with the actual screen. I'm always pretty safe with my stuff, i just like having a non scuffed up screen.

Good to know since those are the ones I went with. I may get some Hori ones too just because I want it protected as much as possible from any dirt/scratches.

I had gotten the official Nintendo ones by Power A (if I'm remembering right) for the 3DS and they were fucking terrible. I think there was 2 in a pack and the first wouldnt even peel from the protective layer. Tried the second one and I just made a mess and had a bunch of bubbles. Ordered some cheaper Hori ones and they worked like a dream in comparison.

Yeah, those Nintendo ones were horrible -_-, the first one didnt even have instructions, and the second set of mine had the stupid peel things on in reverse. Ended up just using ones from Power A and they worked on the first try
 
The site who must not be named sent me an email stating that my items, 8GB Vita memory card and Uncharted are on backorder and will ship in 2 WEEKS! Definitely sent them a message to cancel my order asap.

son of a bitch. In 2 weeks it may not even be much of a deal for what we're paying. Grr they better not backorder mine. I'm getting worried though because I saw some people got emails and I havent heard anything yet. Got my case and screen protectors but no word on the important stuff. I may cancel mine and just get a FEB.

Last Friday or Saturday, I don't remember. When I ordered, both said that they were in stock and ready to ship.

I knew it I'm expecting this email next, what a horrible site with the worst CS I have ever dealt with. Should've avoided it.

While posted previously, the plain wifi model also gets the $20 gift card. This is probably the lowest cost vita option currently out there (assuming you value
the gift card). You could use the gift card on a memory card and end up with 8gb card for about $10.

Anyone's copy of Lumines from newegg ship yet? Mine hasn't left preorder status, and the item is out of stock. I pre-ordered it a month ago, fyi.

I was there when they opened and they didn't even blink about the price. YMMV

If they refused it to me I'd throw them into the customer service phone number because it's them that did it for me with a Manager approval.
