Portable/travel case for PSP (pref. slim)?

Seth Oriath

CAGiversary!
Hello, CAG people.

I recently traded in my PSP for a PSP slim, and I'd like to do what I've always wanted to do with it from the moment I bought the first one over two years ago: use it as a portable MP3 player. I've looked around for a case that would work, but I've never found one desirable enough to make the PSP as unnoticable as possible.

Now that I have the slim, and its added weight loss making it even more desirable as an MP3 player, I'm on the search again for a travel case. I've seen the Logitech Playgear travel case (the one with the body strap) for $10 at my local GS, and I've been tempted to get it even with the regular PSP. However, I just didn't want something that...well..big. Not to mention, I'm not even sure if my PSP slim will fit in it well.

Anyone know of one that I should look for? Of course, I'm a CAG member because I'm cheap, so the cheaper the better for me. :p

Oh! And if you must know, I'm just looking for a PSP case. I don't really want something to hold games as well; I have plenty of game cases for that. Just for walking/jogging, and travel for purely musical purposes. A mem card holder would be nice, but even that's not required.

Thanks in advance!

I use a microfiber cloth pouch meant for sunglasses. Very light and isn't going to protect a damn thing in case of a drop, but it does the only thing I need it to: protect the screen from scratches while its in my pocket.

Ah, ok. You keep yours in your pocket. I got so used to my old PSP being a bit too big for my pockets, the thought never occurred to me that I could probably pull that off with the new one. Good suggestion.

Although, something I could wear outside, like on a belt or (preferred, although I've never seen one for a PSP) something like a wrist/arm strap would be better for me.

I ordered this. I'll let you know how it goes when it gets here, but if it's anything like my LocoRoco pouch for the phatty, then it should be awesome.

Also, I've seen a new official carrying case in BB and those places, but I haven't tried it out yet. It looks like a big cd binder. I may pick it up in the future.
