Had Super Paper Mario, but traded it toward MP3 after beating it as I didn't care for it much. Nothing else I've deemed worth buying thus far. Will definitely get Mario Galaxy and probably Super Smash Bros Brawl.
 
I still only own Trauma Center. Theres a lot that I want to buy, but I'm waiting for price drops + b2g1 free at EBstop. I could see myself not buying anything for another year or so.

I'm too patient for my own good. But in the meantime, I'm making good headway into my DS and previous gen backlogs

I understand being a true CAG. But why the fuck did you buy the console this soon if you won't buy any games until they drop in price?

Seems you'd have been better off waiting for the first price drop on the Wii console, as you'd save money there and there will be a good amount of $20-30 titles by then.

I plan on doing that for future gens, as my Wii gathered a lot of dust this first year for similar reason.....but I'm at least willing to pay $50 for the big Nintendo games like Metroid etc.

I had $300 in gift cards that I needed to burn, and there really wasnt anything else I wanted to use it for during that holiday season. I dont regret it, but I probably wouldve if I had actually used my own cash monies.

Ah, makes more sense. I did the same (trade ins, ebay game sales etc.) and didn't pay a cent out of pocket for the Wii and Zelda.

If I'd paid cash I'd have sold it for a profit after beating Zelda and picked up a 360 for sure since the library has been so thin (and there's a lot I would have bought on the 360 over the same time).

But as is, I don't regret it since it didn't cost me anything other than a little bit of time selling and trading stuff, and I'm enjoying the hell out of Metroid Prime 3 and can't wait for Mario Galaxy.

Thank GOD for freebie sites, eh? But I have more disappointments in VC downloads then of console games..damn free points. I wouldn't have downloaded TJ & Earl, Dungeon Explorer, SoR2 (because I rather have the XBL version), Bonk, and Splatterhouse. Damn TG16 games lol
 
thanks for all the lists so say i was only gonna get two games right now what games would everyone suggest and also how is mortal kombat i was really looking forward to a fighting game but i have heard armaggedon isnt that good for the wii and also why isnt it cheaper isnt it essentially a port also like resident evil 4

ok and a question off topic a little bit what kind of tv is everyone using to play there wii on i have an hdtv that i played my xbox 360 on but i was thinking i could just play the wii on a regular standard definition tv what do u think of that positives negatives etc?

yeah but i imagine it doesnt look that bad on a standard definition tv since basically last generation everyone had a gamecube hooked up to a regular tv and the graphics arent much better so i hear so what two games would everybody recommend im sure zelda is one what would the other be or is there a different one then zelda to

never really been into metroid prime can someone explain to me the fascination with the game ill admit i havent really played it alot so i dont wanna judge it prematurely so maybe thats a game i should rent if anyone else got there console from gamecrazy they give u free coupons to hollywood video
 
when everyone bought there wii did they buy the store warranty also or no they told me i have a week to decide if i want it or not im considering it just cause that way i wont have to send it off to nintendo is it a year altogether or two years between the store warranty and nintendo's warranty?

Well, the best way to decide if you like a game is to try it. On the other hand, if you haven't tried MP or MP2, perhaps you should buy the first MP - it's pretty cheap, especially if you don't mind used. You won't get the Wii controls, but it is an awesome game regardless.
