Nabbed a used copy of Corpse Party Blood Drive at a local Gamestop for $20(it's $18 if you're PUR Pro).  Just the regular edition, not the LE with the goodies, but i really only wanted the game.  GS website lists a new copy at $22, but good luck finding a copy at a nearby store.

Not a bad price, IMHO, considering i was willing to pay $40 for it new a few months back on Amazon(then the price jumped to $50; they're currently going for $60+).

That's interesting, I have a copy I have never played and should probably get rid of then.

I don't think it was ever sold as a regular edition, I think the only printed copies were the Everafter Edition. Regular = Gamestop gutted copy or I guess it was traded in without the extra stuff?

Correct, but the game case is marked as a normal release so that it could be sold as such, and we all knew that GS would eventually be selling it said way. That's they there is a listing of a "standard edition" in the Vita R1 Directory.

Does anyone know a reliable place to get a brand new PlayStation Vita at?
Check Walmart Brickseek. Sku is 44900449. I found one at a store showing 0 on hand but with a yellow Limited Stock banner. It was clearanced at $100. Found a Farpoint Aim bundle for PSVR at another Walmart that appeared the same way on Brickseek...so if it says Limited Stock, then give it a try.

I thought the same thing (like i said, i wasn't too concerned about getting the extras), though the cover doesn't say "Ever After Edition" on it. Did it originally come in a slipcase, maybe?

Yup, i guess that's it.

No, originally it came in a box with art book and soundtrack CD. "Ever After Edition" Was printed on the box itself, not the game case cover. Like I said earlier, XSeed knew GS was bad about gutting boxed editions and intentionally made the game's case art to look like a standard edition to avert issues for consumers beyond the natural retail shelf life of the product.

Persona 3 and Persona 5 Dancing games just announced for Vita and PS4
Day 1.

Will get both and the CEs. At some point I will double dip.

I knew Persona 3 Dancing was gunna come at some point due to the Director commenting on wanting to do it.

Since Persona 3 has some new assets being made, maybe a Remaster of 3 at some point?! Wishful thinking that is. LOL

Persona:DAN was one of the few Vita plats I got. When everyone was talking about the great music in 5 I had just come off of Playing DAN and listening to the music in the car. I know it's not exactly a fair comparison but good lord P5 made me miss having a bigger and better song Persona song selection. I also have the Persona Vita so I'll get the CE's day one as well.

Official Skullgirls LRG Production Update!

Production Update!

We wanted to give everyone a production update on our Skullgirls physical release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. It's been a bumpy ride getting here, but the finish line is finally in sight!

If you weren't already familiar with the situation, Lab Zero Games has been toiling away on patching out all the remaining bugs in the game so that this physical release would be a definitive and archivable piece. It took a lot longer to get to that point than any of us expected, but the final patch has been completed and we're now in the final steps for this!

PlayStation 4:

The PlayStation 4 version has begun manufacturing. Sony is currently in peak season so manufacturing is taking much longer than it usually does. Basically, Sony is busy cranking out all the high-volume AAA fall releases so capacity at the factory is impacted. Due to this, we don't expect to have the final Skullgirls package in-hand until the third or fourth week of September.

Once the game is in-hand, shipping will begin immediately. Anyone who purchased a PlayStation 4 and Vita combo pack will have their PlayStation 4 copy sent out first unless the Vita version passes certification quick enough to arrive from the factory in September.

PlayStation Vita:

The PlayStation Vita build of Skullgirls is currently being tested for certification by Sony. The game needed to be rebuilt from the ground up in order to include the Japanese VO and latest patches on the cartridge. This is a much more involved process than what is required on PlayStation 4. Right now, a release date for the Vita version hinges on the build passing certification. We don't expect this to take much longer, but the process involves testing many components of the game and its Vita functionality. It's possible that the current build could pass or that several iterations may need to be made.

Thank you for your patience regarding this release. We are nearly at the end! Between the beautiful slipcover, reversible cover art, the 56-page manual, and the patch-free builds - this will definitely have been worth the wait.

Loving all these upcoming rhythm games, and the fact they're Persona based is an added bonus!

I enjoy playing rhythm games on my Vita, so this is quite a plus. ^__^

Just fyi, but Play-Asia finally sold out their stock of Soldner,
Damn, that took forever. I guess it was good that it was offered, for those who missed the LRG release, or just wanted to own the alternate cover art. It seems like LRG maybe had the numbers right after all, or at least pretty close, as the interest didn't seem to be as high for the PA version, but who can really say?

First time I've seen it sold out since release, but now they've restocked it.

That's just confusing seeing how there was a set limit supposedly.

Maybe it's just the remaining replacement stock they have left.

Otherwise, this is weird. XD

The PA version of Soldner has a beautifully done cover, a lot of effort clearly went into it (check the details on the back cover). Not trying to downplay the LRG version, but EAS created a great cover for their release, and I was happy to get both versions. It's also a great shmup for the Vita, one of the best released for the system.

Yeah, due to your review of the cover, as well as a few others here on CAG, I almost bought the PA version myself awhile back. Then I had to catch myself, and ask why I needed two copies?

But every time I would visit their site , it was normally the first promo page to pop up, so they advertised the hell out of it as well. There was more than once I had added it to my cart, and then thought better of it. So if it's back in stock again, I really don't know what to think either, as I felt that it should have been sold out since shortly after it was offered, especially with all the backlash from those who didn't get the LRG version.

Just fyi, but Play-Asia finally sold out their stock of Soldner,
Just checked the site and they show 3000 remain of the current stock.

My guess is... unlike LRG, they don't stop printing the game while it's selling well. For good games, this is a great way to publish in limited numbers while still meeting whatever demand there is. Devs make more, publisher makes more, consumer can get a copy without fighting for one. I wonder how many copies they actually have sold thus far.

Are you talking about this,

" LIMITED RELEASE: Only 3,000 copies of Soldner-X 2 Final Prototype remain!"

because that's been the same fine print since release, so that hasn't changed.

I highly doubt they decided to print another 3000 more copies of the game.

I still think it's probably just their remaining replacement stock that they need to get rid of since, well, no point sitting on them. :p

Yeah it's weird.  If they didn't add 3K more, then they at least added more since it shows instock again.   It could be the left over replacements.  It could simply be they sold out and ordered more.   That's sort of the shady side here since they don't seem to say it's 3K only ever and they'll never make more.. just 3K remaining.  Hopefully they do restocks of other games that sell well rather than just cutting off the potential revenue.

HK/TW version of Omega Labyrinth announced with a CE akin to that of MeiQ.

I wonder I should give up on hoping for a western release, for this and Coven.

I think the CE is the same as the Japanese version, somebody can confirm, but these preorder keychains are exclusive to the HK/TW versions:

I doubt you get all six for one preorder, which sucks

EDIT: Yep, just checked, you get a random one.

I hope it gets announced especially since it sold very poorly in Japan. I think NA and other regions will eat up the game, though it looks kind of like Mystery Dungeon games.

I attached the CE image twice by mistake, will modify after I finish my espresso.

Also I used the PS4 image,,but you know how it is, just swap in the Vita game.

Lies! I'm sure this was you after you posted.

But yes, I actually want that particular set now because we definitely will not see anything that Amazing for/if a NA release.

And don't you dare compare that booby pad to the one from MeiQ. The one from MeiQ looks like it was printed Styrofoam.

Now I read into the article, it seems to imply that the mousepad is exclusive to the Asian version as well. I will wait for the price and see if I can squeeze into my budget, already got Danga 3 CE, YS VIII CE from NISA.

It may be worth checking out any gamestops with Corpse Party in stock. Today they found the extras in the drawer forgotten about, all sealed. Still sold it at the preowned price.

Confirmed with someone whoe owns the Japanese CE, the mouse pad is exclusive to the Asian release, along with some DLC

Shockingly no one else has posted about this yet, but their was a KickStarter update for Sharin no Kuni this past Friday. I'm only going to quote a small excerpt from the update. But suffice to say the Vita version is delayed and they have adjusted their localization schedule and we are now looking at a tentative February 2018 release window for the Vita version of the game. The PC version has a new targeted release window of December 2017. Full update can be read here:

Revised Schedule

Rewards with an estimated delivery of August 2017 will now be fulfilled by December 2017.

Rewards with an estimated delivery of October 2017 will now be fulfilled by February 2018.

Note: As announced before, we expect the Vita version to finish production 2-3 months after the release of the PC version; because of this, backers whose pledges include the Vita version will be similarly delayed. We’ll share a concrete release window for the Vita version in a future update once one has been decided.

What site are you using to import Asian Omega Labyrinth CE? It is not on play-asia
