Since I thought the cheap 3DS games thread was a good idea. I thought I would start one for the PS Vita. I will maintain this site a few times a day going forward. Post links up to new deals and I will add them to the OP. Anyhow, here we go:

Yeah, I'll probably break down and get a copy as well though I'm not generally a collector. I just think the game was the perfect mix of solid production and casual gameplay and I'd like to see that level of work continue on the Vita without tons of delays.

Well when it was first offered, it was available for a few hours. Then they went through and cancelled any orders that where of dubious amounts, and relisted them the following week, and those where up for a good long while as well.

This is "Limited Run Games", so every game will have a set amount listed, and once sold out, the secondary market will be your only option, or the contest they offer weekly.

Anyone who wanted a Breach & Clear, had more than ample ways to get them during the "limited run" period they where offered. I wouldn't really say scalpers were an issue, since they cancelled any orders that looked of that, and re-listed them for fans.

EDIT: I think the team did an excellent job in regards to qty, and anyone who wanted one at the time should have gotten a copy with little to no issues. I'm very much looking forward to their future releases, and don't really see a problem based on their previous release. The CD only version being released for SMRPG is very limited, so that will go fast, but regular copies should be easy.

There was more than enough time to get a copy for Breach and Clear. There were 2 chances

And for Saturday Morning RPG, it should be easier.

I can't believe people are complaining about the turtles noses and judging the game by 5 screenshots Limited Run Games. Gamers are so fucking stupid this days. For real, It's a Platinum TMNT game company making more physical copies of Vita games available to collectors/gamers that want them, people should be shitting themselves.

I think you need to pledge at least $60 to get a physical vita copy. I backed it originally, but after looking into it a bit more.. the game doesn't seem all that great. Really only worth it if you're a collector.

Physical Vita is a stretch goal. They are only doing it if they hit $210k, which doesn't look likely. Too bad. I would have pledged to get one if it was already met. Maybe one will materialize down the road with LRG or something.

Likely adapted for consoles like other 18+ eroges on consoles. Personally I like the 18+ elements in the game and really wont play it any other way if that's available. One of my few i'll play the game on console with an 18+ release available is Muvluv since most people say the content was pretty bleh. Honestly Mangagamer is going to help them put out the 18+ version and that will be what I get. I would like a Vita copy regardless though....

An Official Update was sent out today to those who pledged during the timed campaign: Here's part of the content of the e-mail.

Victory Achieved! What's Next? Onward to Immortality!

Backerkit is the solution we'll be using for our post-Kickstarter battle. As I mentioned above, even though Kickstarter has ended, this is one more chance to increase our funding even further. You wanted to hit that Vita stretch goal. You wanted the final Iris mini-episode. Hey, we want it, too! Time to muster the cavalry for another thrashing.

But first, let's looks at what our 2,285 soldiers is capable of with Backerkit...
  • If everyone pledges $17 extra dollars, we can get Vita/Android Goal + Iris Mini-Episode!
    2,285 soldiers x $17 = $38,845 $38,845 + $183,105 = $221,950
  • If everyone pledges $12 extra dollars, we can get Vita/Android Goal!
    2,285 soldiers x $12 = $27,420 $27,420 + $183,105 = $210,525
Backerkit recommends we wait 14 days from the end of our Kickstarter, so be ready for the war horn to blast once again. ^__^

I'm just happy to play it. I know people cry foul about censorship (Criminal Girls immediately comes to mind), but sometimes it needs to be done to get the game over here and in our hands, because let's face it, many of the girls in these game look *very* young.

For the record, I really enjoyed Criminal Girls. Censorship and all.

They announced early this year that they would have an average of one release per month for the year, and some months more. I can't wait to see what they have to announce. They also said there would be more info near the end of this month, so some more games and release dates should be happening soon.

I'm pretty sure I went for the $80 route which was physical version of the games plus a bonus digital copy (which I chose the vita version). $80 was justifyable to me as it seemed to be two game releases. If a physical version wasn't part of the deal I would have just completely passed on it as I can always sell it if I don't like the games for whatever reason.

I couldn't jump in on the iffy chance of maybe getting Libra of the Vampire Princess on Vita let alone maybe getting a physical version. It just didn't seem like something that was a sure thing even if they got the money. That said, I didn't research it enough to see if the game was even something I wanted to own.

It's going to be an expensive year. I might have to limit myself to one version per release.

Are they going to release stuff for Microsoft or Nintendo consoles? Wasn't sure if it's just coincidence that the first two are on Sony platforms.

I doubt they would do Microsoft since their minimum print run is way more the Sony's.

I believe they said they would look in to N & MS, but for now, Sony is where it's at. They offer the easiest process, along with the lowest runs of carts. The more these guys release, and the more word of mouth gets out there, some of these publishers may come to them, but for now, I'm more than happy to get physical for my Vita(I don't have a PS4 yet).

Ok, thanks for the information.

I played a good hour on Saturday Morning RPG(Steam), and I think it would make a fantastic port to the Vita, the game was built for a touch screen it appears.

(hopefully things are back to normal from this point on.)

Picked up both games. Danganronpa never drop down below $26 for very very long time and I never see any sale on Dungeon Travelers 2. Get both games under $27 Each after taxes. Also, Corpse Party is on clearance as well. I will return & Rebuy my copy next week. Save few $$$$ :)

Thank you for the heads up! I picked up Dungeon Travelers for now. 

I already own Dengeki Bunko, which has been cheaper at Amazon (currently and in the past - snagged it at around $15 and change).

I'll probably end up ordering Code:Realize and Another Episode.

That's why I jumped on that one immediately. I've waited long enough and this may end up being the lowest price this game ever sees.

 
Anyone know how long of a game Muramasa is? I saw it used at gamestop for 19.99 but not sure if its worth a rental / borrow if I should snag it up.

BTW, thanks for the post on Dungeon Travelers. Picked that up in a heartbeat, been waiting for it to drop.

Agree, been waiting on a Clearance or Sale. Gamestop may clear it out but most copies left will be gutted so I quickly jumped on this one.

Anyone know if Dengenki Bunko is the First Print edition?
