Vita is life. Oops, wrong Vita.

The call of duty stuff mentioned earlier.. There are lots of people that will just buy the game each year regardless. They rarely skip a year, And that's all they play... FPS and nothing else.

Comparing the vita to a franchise like COD/etc doesn't work.

The memory prices forced people to *manage* their vitas storage, or buy another card at inflated prices.

I love my vita, I really see 2 things that hurt its sales.
1: the memory card crap.
2: Sony quit promoting it. (I think this is the biggest reason)

It seemed like the second that lawsuit against Sony started for the "false" advertising of the vitas capabilities, Sony started distancing themselves from it.

The average "gamer" looks at the Vita in comparison to the 3DS and sees that Nintendo publishes games for the 3DS, Sony doesn't. (3rd party is still very much alive) and they decide to go 3DS. They think the day they buy a vita, is the day Sony turns them all off and all games previously made just disappear..

Maybe it's my back talking.. Waiting in my chiropractors office in a little pain. :(

I'm still sad I never got in on that lawsuit :/

Games being digital only in some cases and the lack of retail presence didn't do it any favors here either. I mean really how many of us bought stuff like sword art online or the atelier titles at full price or at all?

I've bought a bunch of digital games for the vita but the majority of them I didn't spend more than 3-5$ on.

You guys were right. I posted to the BestBuy Gamer's Club forum last night and the fellow who moderate's that specific topic got my $10 rewards certificate issued about twleve hours ago! What a wild ride.

Tomorrow I am going to go back to the GameStop that failed to give me the extra 10% off on Pro Members Day two weeks ago and see if they can rectify the issue as I haven't heard a peep out of GameSlop customer service since sending them the receipt scan a couple days ago.

Finally put in my order for a regular copy of Shiren. I just kept putting it off and then realized the Amazon prime 20% off had expired so I figured I should probably get a Best Buy order in with GCU before it went out of stock there.

I assume the EU God Eater 2 is also English voice only?
I own the JP version of this game and can attest that unless you know Japanese the game's numerous menus and items make it nigh impossible to play beyond the first mission. So unless you can read Katakana and Hiragana I suggest you buy the English release of the game and stop worrying about whether the voice acting has been dubbed or not.

Thanks for the info, I can read/listen enough to survive, although I usually try to avoid it unless the English dub is unacceptable for me. In this case it is because I watched the anime in Japanese VA. You liked the game though?

Yes, the game, what of it I can manage to play through was great. Will definitely be importing the Region 2 (Western European) release of it sometime in the near future, when finances permit.

Looks like their ploy to get rid of the expensive bundles failed, so putting up the white flag and "restocking" the standard again. ;D

Hamburgers. Thanks, might have to get some funds and preorder then. Are NISA orders easy to cancel?
You have to talk to their customer service. I cancelled the original Criminal Girls LE back in the day.

Thanks for the heads up on the standard...I thought it was going to be at other stores, but guess i'll get it.

Buying Vita games is becoming such a struggle now that store exclusive are more frequent.

A beautiful struggle.

Yeah no retail space, so pretty much everything is just ordered online and seems like lower stock for everything. Not a fun time honestly. Can't really wait for lower Vita game prices to happen because they rarely happen....

To those that had a order for zero escape and got changed to a normal edition don't expect to get anything. Thank goodness I have two preordered otherwise I be angry.

I disagree. If for some reason Amazon and Gamestop don't come through, I have every confidence that Aksys will make it right directly with consumers. If they don't, it could and will literally destroy their future business.

amazon seems to not care
It doesn't matter if Amazon seems to care or not. Everyone received $10 credits already so Amazon at least had to participate in that part of the make good. Aksys has taken responsibility for the problem and has guaranteed that everyone that preordered will get the watches. There is no way they will just walk away from that commitment as the firestorm would literally destroy their company.

That's a lie, I got nothing!

Of course I never pre-ordered the game to begin with.

That's weird. I apparently had 1020 reward points (worth $10.20) at the NIS store. Not sure how or why, but I gladly put it to use.

While Sony stopped making their own vita games long time ago (which certainly didn't do any good for them to promote the latter PS TV), it's funny that they wasted no time in releasing new firmware to block any homebrew effort every time.

I was going to trade in an oled vita (good price from ebay months ago but it's on 3.60, expecting lower 3.50 or lower) to gamestop, now it got a new life to stay with my light blue vita wifi :)

Last night I had three or four good cutting remarks that I was going to make so that I and a few others could get some more laughs. Instead, I decided to post something a little more helpful. So, to you and everyone else that is freaking out about not getting their ZTD watch, please pay close attention.

As of right now (that part is key; just for right now) there is nothing that you can do to get the watch that you're supposed to have gotten with the game. No amount of contacting Amazon, contacting Aksys, petition writing, or complaints on a forum will help you to get your watch any faster. You're free to do whatever you want, but you need to understand that it serves no other purpose than to make you feel a bit better about the situation.

Here is the sequence of events that are most likely to happen. Once Aksys has all of the watches and all the preparation that they need is finished, there will be some kind of notification to tell us that they are ready to ship them out. At that time, they will provide us with all of the information that we need in order for them to deliver them to us. This will likely be done with an online form that we can fill out where we will need to provide our shipping information and proof that we had purchased the game (either with a receipt or a screen shot). Whoever Aksys has contracted to ship them out will then mail us our watches.

And since you said that your item description has been changed (or more accurately that your old order was deleted and a new one was made), then I encourage you to find either your original order confirmation or your conversation with Amazon's c/s.

Why should I have to provide proof of anything when I haven't even gotten the game yet?

(Not saying that that's what will happen, but I really really hope it doesn't.)
